  OK, it is rather involved. I have a system Dell XPS 420 many years, it came with Adobe Photoshop Element 6.0 and Adobe first Element 4.0. I downloaded both to my computer, a new computer and all went well, version 4.0 asked serial number and it's on the back of the neck, fine.   Central belt IT Services you have serial number for full version under your account.  If you have tried the suggestions in this discussion, without success, then I recommend to install Photoshop Elements 7 in an environment that it has been designed to work.  You can find the minimum requirements for Photoshop Elements 7 to system required. Adobe Photoshop Elements.

• My touchpad for HP Probook 4525 s does not work and I am locked, I don't even have a password!

  I'm not really sure what's going on.  During the implementation of windows, there is a picture of this mouse pad with a slash through it, which appears low, then disappears.  I am unable to move my pointer at all.  I didn't add or remove anything.  I know enough to get me into trouble, so maby someone can help me out there.  Also when I view Windows, it tells me that I am locked out and I don't even have a password.

  I'm trying to move a software CS5 Design Std to a new computer, measures:

  -On the old PC, open the software and then help > deactivate. Permanent choice. When I try to open one of the software in the costume, I get the promt trial or licenses. The software seems properly deactivated.

  -Download the software on the new computer from this site. Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products

  The two files under 'CS5 Design Standard' for Windows.

  -After installation of the new computer, I get the trial / window of license as expected. But when entering my serial number of certificate of software license paper I get a triangle waring and "this serial number is not valid for this product.".

  -IV ' e was in contact with Adobe Chat support, simply saying he is no direct support for this product is no longer and transferred me to this forum instead.

  It's a business for a single installation license, if I read correctly.

  An AOO volume license requires an installer of volume. Probably this download is not an installer of volume.

  You should be able to get it by logging into your account on the Site of Licensing.

  Some of these users choose to buy Acrobat Pro DC in the edition number constantly to keep the software with the machine through personnel changes.

  The machine is online.  On the login screen, the user chooses to connect now.  Launch of Acrobat IS NOT successfully, but rather closes without error and without registration of the facility.

  I think that this series of events is not technically a 'solution' as a workaround solution usually involves the product of work after work around the problem.

  This issue is constantly itchy and will become problematic as the dozen multiple computers that are running a version of Acrobat Pro must be replaced and the new, non-functioning software installed.

  A next resolution would be appreciated,

  Okay, so I made a second attempt, this time:

  1: uninstall all products (including non-pro versions) adobe acrobat, and then restart the computer.

  2: go to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\, here you need to rename the folder named "SLStore" "SLStore_old" or you can use any name of your choice. (Please note: ProgramData is a hidden folder and you may not be able to see it.) Make sure that hidden files do not appear on your computer, you can follow this link to the same thing: Show hidden - files-Windows help)

  3: go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\SLCache. Delete all the files and folder in this folder. Make sure that you do not remove the SLCache itself.

  4: go to:-C:-users- \AppData \Local-Adobe-OOBE, delete this folder.  I also deleted the folder % userprofile%\AppData\Local, % userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow, %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming Acrobat

  5: used CCleaner to clean the registry references

  6: reboot

  7: install Acrobat DC when you're connected to the internet by using the last installation program downloaded, before the serial number when prompted.

  8: restart the computer without launching Acrobat DC.

  9: launch acrobat DC, connect you with the Adobe account, accept the license terms

  10: (again) invited me for the serial number.  Serial number entered.

  At this point, the program successfully launched.  Although I can't say for sure what's the difference between the first and second attempt.

  I am wary uninstaller expatriates registry references which do not crushed on re - install?  Restarting Windows 98 - style persistent may also have changed things.

  However, this kind of unpredictable behavior has been the standard for all of our DC Pro Acrobat installs.  Some work very well on the first try, others take 3 or more, some take the above list to play with hidden files and registry entries to work.

  Thank you for your help, however, I hope the installation for versions of serial number becomes more standardized and less unpredictable with future updates, it takes a lot of time for those of us with a selective use Adobe programs in an enterprise environment.

  In windows 7 go to the following location:

  / Windows/system32/drivers/etc

  1. find the file "hosts".

  2. open it with Notepad

  3. check if you have any input for Adobe

  4 remove the entries and try again to launch any product cs6

  On Windows XP, go to the following location:

  \Windows\system32\drivers\etc

  1. find the file "hosts".

  2. open it with Notepad

  3. check if you have any input for Adobe

  4 remove the entries and try again to launch any product cs6

  Mac:

  1. click on 'Go' and navigate to/private/etc

  2. open the 'hosts' file and departure for all entries for Adobe.com

  3 remove the entries and save the file

  4. try to launch again any product cs6
