However, certain pre-existing applications to Adobe trial version on my computer seem to ask questions. I'm only able to use the trial versions of some applications, and I don't have access to others. I thought that creative cloud was supposed to give me access to the complete collection of Adobe applications. Do I need to uninstall all Adobe applications before accepting the invitation to creative cloud?

  Hello Chris,

  Yes, you should get access to applications if you plan to full membership.

  If you still get 'Buy now' on applications, please follow the steps given.

  Please check and remove entries from the host file (if available):

  Close all Adobe also activity monitor processes.

  Log in as an administrator to change the hosts file in Mac OS.

  In a window of Finder, select go > go to folder.

  Type/etc

  Select the hosts file and open it with a text editor.

  Save the hosts file: Choose file > save as, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.

  Look for the original hosts file for entries that reference activate.adobe.com (for example, 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com) and delete these entries.

  Save and close to overwrite the file.

  Just to clarify, in the case where this help anyone. I transferred more SC around 6 to help Apple migration assistant, and the only program in the suite that could not be accessed except through the trial version of cloud was the Illustrator. After that more than an hour on the Adobe support chat, turns out that I needed to follow the guests to buy cloud version, then type the serial number of my CS software at some point in the process. There you go.

  I came across the solution. In addition to download creative cloud, I needed to return to the site and download the trials for the programs I want to use - Photoshop and Lightroom. Once I did, I was in business. Save bad if this was done in light on the download site.
