When the window customize appears that Firefox returns to its normal state. I have to click on the done button and go back to what I did. I tried to reset FireFox back to the default settings, but that has not fixed the problem.

  Probably nothing, it's probably a fluke. Try resetting the SMC and the PRAM by iMac Intel SCM and reset the PRAM. If this does not work, try a USB keyboard to test, if it works then your original keyboard has failed and must be replaced.

  1. what happens when you connect any USB device to the computer, or trying to shut down the computer after hibernation?

  2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

  3. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  4 when was the last time it was working fine?

  Not quite sure what "disappeared" means. You can try to remove and re - download.

I used Windows XP Add Remove programs who asked if I wanted to save the settings of Firefox until I uninstalled Firefox. I said yes and operated with the uninstall.   It's a delicate issue... like some patches cannot stipulate pitchbend...

  But to quickly test your pitchbend wheel actually works properly...
