    Hello

    Try this:

Control Panel - device - sounds Manager - note manufacturer device name and info on the graduating model.
Double click and get the date and version of the driver (if 06 are dates, you use the default windows driver). Now
Click the DRIVER UPDATE (this can not find anything because MS is far behind the certification of drivers). Now LAW
CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it will refresh the driver stack.

Now, go to the manufacturer of the system and recover the last pilot audio/Hi-Fi as a fall.

Download it - SAVE - go to where you put it - RIGHT CLICK top - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT

Now do the same for the manufacturer of the device (the one that made the device - if you were using the default windows
you might need to look in the Device Manager - his new driver).

Often, you will need to run the sound card drivers several times to get the latest version installed and will appear in
Manager - Sound. This is because they make back the drivers one at a time and then finally install the
most recent. Look in the Device Manager to be sure that you have installed the version of the driver is the one showing, if not
run the driver again (reset each time) until the shows a correct.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Volume mixer trouble

IM on Vista 64-bit SP2. My volume mixer is to be boring. Before the update to SP2, it was fine. In the Volume mixer, my Applications to display the icon of the program running. Now there is no display name and a generic icon of windows for them. What could be the cause of this?

Maybe it's a 'feature' of SP2.  It's the same for me-, it is not only your system.  And on mine it sometimes does not show all options - it varies from start-up to start those which it displays (and sometimes those who work) and I can't understand a solution that is not too radical for a minor problem.

I suggest that repost you this question in Forum Windows Update: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads , where updates including SP2 experts will be more than happy to help you with your problem.

You also have another option.  Free Microsoft support is always available for Vista SP2 problems to https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?prid=13014&gprid=582034&st=1&wfxredirect=1 where they provide contact information and other information.  You can try one or two options if you wish.

  • Material mix/fade Windows 'Volume Mixer?

    Hey guys,.

I just want to know if it would be possible to get a device midi or something similar and can affect the parameters of each program/master in windows "Volume Mixer" channel, meaning... I would have material to control my chains: IE. music down, lower sykpe up a notch, turn online... master until... etc...

What could be preventing me from doing that if I find a relatively inexpensive midi device that can be assigned to parameters in various audio design programs? I'm thinking nothing like some keyboards have master keys up/down/mute, right?

Also, I must have User.Interface mixer open and/or targeted for this method to work?... Because I was hoping I'd be able to mix a few channels on the fly when I was in full screen/reading an article... instead of having to tinker so much.

As opposed to and extra-$$$ digital mixer... I was looking for something like this: http://www.behringer.com/de/Products
    / BCF2000.aspx

    Or this (still cheaper!): http://www.korg.com/nanoseries2

Assistance, workarounds, prior experience or alternative suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    I have Win7 (64 bit), its edge.

As I said, no, not as far as I know.

To return to Daw the, most use one or more specific protocols Mackie - for example. W7 does not work.
If all you need is simple, off, orders dumb then a USB keyboard is what you need.
But to make the mixture where you listen to several sources at the same time, then you need the routing software, for example a DAW.
BTW, Reaper is basically free, as long as you don't mind a nag screen at first upward. If you Google, there are freebies! Computer music Mag still has a gift on his DVD that accompanies it.
