  So for the last two weeks, my computer (a Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 laptop) has been having this problem.

  Whenever I try to start Windows, the computer freezes. Most of the time, I'll be able to connect in the first place and the desktop and the taskbar appears normal, but I won't be able to open all programs. The mouse will have a circle "loading" beside him who won't go away, will not come to the top of the start menu and the taskbar will be completely insensitive. When I move the cursor to the taskbar, the arrow usually turns into a circle of "loading". By pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete in the meantime does nothing. Sometimes they occur when I try to start the computer in Mode safe, but sometimes (usually after many frustrating attempts), I will be able to log in Mode safe mode normally. (Right now I'm in Mode safe mode with networking.) When I try to log on to the guest mode safe account, it always freezes before connect you or displays a message saying that there is "a mistake with the sense of service" or something like that.

  While in Safe Mode, I tried entering the system setup and turning off some startup programs. Who gets usually the computer working again for a little while, but after a few days problems reactivating. I also tried to do a restore of the system three times, but every time the restore has failed to occur due to errors (do not remember exactly what). The computer began working again after the attempt, but once more, the problems would be just begin again in a few days.

  It could be a particularly strong virus or malware. Safe mode, I would run my antivirus software on a deep, boot level scan.   Maybe the temperature inside the laptop could be the reason of this gel.
  I had once similar there is question. My frizzy 6 specifications because the temperature affected the memory modules.
  So I cleaned the cooling fans using a jet of compressed air and I replaced the thermal grease which is a space between the cooling module and CPU. This helped...

  You can try to clean the cooling also fans. But be careful and if you have no experience, then a mobile technician should help you.

  I've recently upgraded to Mountain Lion since Snow leopard. I use a late 2008 Macbook Pro. Since the upgrade, I'm randomly crashes when you use most of the applications (logic x, VLC, QuickTime) it also freezes when using Mozilla. When it freezes I don't get the option to force quit if I continue to use the power to close button. I really want to continue to use Mountain Lion, because I use several applications up-to-date as logic x and is also compatible with my external sound card.   When point to Mountain Lion? When say 'freeze' you mean the kernel panics? You get a multilingual you requiring window on the eve of your Mac? Your EtreCheck report shows 3 kernel panics. They were before or after you updated to Mountain Lion? If your machine has been seen panicking the kernel before, then it might be a hardware problem. If these panics are new since the Mountain Lion, then it is likely an incompatibility with one of your extensions to core 3rd part. She can relate to those who show 'loaded' in your report of EtreCheck, but it could involve other extensions too, depending on what hardware or software is used.

• Windows XP PC freezes after Windows Update November 11. 2009.

  Our two identical Dell Vostro 410 PCs with installed WindowsXP SP3 image no longer work correctly after Windows Installer update yesterday (Wednesday 11. November. They will work in Mode without failure. However, mode normal, we get after the opening screen session and during the major part of the process is started, then the hourglass stays on for a time abnormally long. If we let the PC in this State for 5-10 minutes ago all of a sudden a beep and the computer freezes. A soft reboot is impossible at this stage, therefore, turn off the machine. No idea what could be the cause this problem and how to fix it?

  Initial reports indicate that it affects Windows XP systems with an ATI Radeon HD 2400 card.

  Solution: uninstall the update after the start in safe mode, driver ATI upgrade to the latest version (9.1, published on 22/10/2009), and then reapply MS09-065/969947
