  Does not open my encrypted file and the key is lost.  I did it in windows 7 and my system crashed.  I then restoed operating system, then my encrypted file does not open and the key file is on the same partition and also, he was gone.  It of a personal record and is very important and punch.  I tried to take possession of the file and that did not work I was wondering if there is a tool or method which can decrypt the file.  I know that their around the key file, or if there is a way to get the certificate...   I try to open realplayer and every time I get the same error message: Realplayer does not open due to missing file MSVCP90.dll.   The problem is that RealPlayer needs pieces of Visual Studio/Visual C++ libraries and that is not finding them on your system.  You do not have to install all this junk - just distribution (like MSVCP90.dll) files.

  You can look in Add/Remove programs and see what Microsoft Visual C++ redistributes you have installed right now (you can have none).  I installed them in 2005.  You may have none or more installed.

  I would like to download the latest Package Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable and install it from here:

  Reboot and see if RealPlayer is happy now.

  Let me know what happens if you copy files from the USB on your desktop, then open it in Reader.

  If the error persists, then try to disable the Protected Mode under ' Edit > Preferences > (protection) "and see if that helps.

  I did export and then used the other program you suggested to compact the database, and finally I could work on my mail.  I could even delete nearly 1000 emails in the deleted files folder. Before it would just give me an error message.

• Does not open my Illustrator CC files

  I can get Illustrator to open, but I can't get any of my files to open. 'Open' in the 'file' menu is dimmed (as are all options in the "File" menu). I also tried clicking the files directly from a Finder window, and the files do not open.   well, I'll start from the beginning.

  the first big mistake I did was change the permissions of the administrator until he was the same trustedinstaller (without this I wouldn't do stupid things, but I did it for a change of details in the registry)

  now I certainly delete files that I wasn't allowed to, and who were required to run windows properly, I know that, because of the errors, I am when I try to start things or when I try to fix things

  now I searched a LOT on the web especially in the microsoft forums and I fount a lot of 'solutions' that did not work for me

  most of the time, it was because I get an error because I could not more process these configurations etc.

  Your Windows product key can be printed on a label located on the underside of your laptop, if you don't you won't have it. Using the recovery partition, it is a good idea if you have no recovery on a disk media, often there is a Windows repair option, you can try this, however if there is no data on the first partition that you interested, I recommend you just format the partition for essentially erase everything on it and reinstalling Windows on the recovery partition. This will probably not require you to reactivate Windows by using the product key.

  If you cannot use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows, then you can go to this page (on the computer that is working properly) http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only and click on install Windows 8, save the file, run it and choose Install by creating media. This you will get an ISO file that you can burn on this disc you mentioned, just put the disc in your computer, right click on the ISO file and choose burn. It should also not ask to reactivate Windows, if you did no major hardware changes to the computer.
  Again, I would like to know if you need help with any of these steps or if none of these steps work for you.

  Hi Gharbi, in most cases you will find that you don't need buttons for copy/paste of a website, but you can use one of the following methods:

  • To copy, select the text, then either:
    • Right click > copy
    • CTRL + c keyboard shortcut
  • To paste, click to position the cursor, then either:
    • Right click > paste
    • Keyboard Ctrl + v shortcut

  These two methods work thoughout most of the windows and if the other doesn't usually work.

  Thanks for posting the details of your system. I'm skeptical about the "CompTool0234 Community Toolbar". Could you disable some add-ons and see if that helps.

  On this tab:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Plugins category

  Disable «Conduit Plugin»

  On this tab:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

  Disable the CompTool0234 community toolbar.

  Then very probably a link will appear to restart Firefox to make the change. Does make a difference?

  I've never tried it myself, but the forum has a series of measures for a "clean reinstall" Firefox. Even if you do not delete the record of your personal settings (AKA profile) during this process, a backup of this folder is always a good idea in case something goes wrong.

  Installed FF 16, 17, 18. Does not open in the normal administrator account, or with "Run as Administrator" but will be in SafeMode to W7. Changed the permissions (normal connection had to do in Mode without failure of W7, would not allow (connected as an administrator) can not delete the files from Mozilla in normal connection.) On rare occasions, with a fresh install, I could get it to open once, then not again. Searched the reg any mention of Mozilla or FF and cleaned. Tried FF safe mode, no luck. Check permissions after appropriators and multiplication of the rights of full ownership of all the files of FF, several reboots, no luck. Chrome, IE and SeaMonkey work very well. Using a fairly new installation of W7 Professional 64 bit on a Dell Optiplex 990 i7, 16 GB of ram. Had the same problem with another user on the same box. No problem on other computers without other problems in program.

  Finally have it running. Seems that the enterprise version of McAfee is blocking the installation of the program. McAfee uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox, installed McAfee and now, it's good to go.
