  I'll put up proof of lab validation for installation of the NAC.

  I use Cisco Catalyst 3550 and 2950 switches (the real environment is using 3750 and 2960 and 2950 switches) and have defined NAC in Central L3 OOB configuration. In this configuration, I have a SIN and NAM "MAIN_SITE" and then two sites branch "BRANCH1" and "BRANCH2.

  "driver must not be empty" this error happens when some how wrong information was attributed to the parameter ODI_MASTER_DRIVER in the file odiparams.bat/sh.

  What is the value set for ODI_MASTER_DRIVER in your case?
  If your master repository is on Oracle, then it should bes and oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver

  Also check if the line containing the parameter ODI_MASTER_DRIVER is commented, if yes then it uncomment and test

  We have a core switch with FWSM. All users default gateway is FWSM.

  There is a switch of access where the user is connected. The mode of

  I suspect that there is something wrong with the config, but it would be very difficult to get solved with the comings and goings in the forums.

  If you are not able to resolve your default gateway arp, mappings do not work, or you have the option "Enable subnet-based change them on the VLAN. If these two things are defined and it still does not work, I would watch the live Setup, so please open a TAC case and allows for a counterpart of TAC engineer on your settings.

  ODI 11 we could do the agent ODI running as a service in Windows. ODI agent technology has changed in ODI 12 c, which actually is not possible. True, I can run the agent start cmd as a service windows, but this is not an adequate service, is very kludgy and I cannot control the agent from the Services Control Panel

  In ODI, I can create a Nodemanager Windows service, but this isn't the agent - this component is started later through WLST script. It is not my goal to have Agent ODI start automatically when the server starts (and depend on the database MS SQL Server hosted on the same zone being upward).

  I assume that you have installed your agent in the directory

  / u01/app/Oracle/agent11g/bin

  If this is correct then run the following commands

  Export ORACLE_HOME = / u01/app/oracle/agent11g /.
  export LD_LIBRARY_PATH = / u01/app/oracle/agent11g/lib

  PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/bin:. : $PATH; export PATH

  As a matter of fact, you need to set the environment variables separate for the agent to execute commands
  which are related to the agent. These distinct environment must be set correctly to ensure that the
  commands can be found in the appropriate directories...

  Then, run the status command emctl agent...

  I have the latest Firefox 25.0 (and the last Flash 11.9.900.117) on Windows 7 and the following behavior is reproducible. It started not too long ago.

  At first when I launch Firefox, nothing appears no matter how often, I restart. I see in the list of the process firefox.exe to 25% of the CPU, 2 x FlashPlayerPlugin_11_9_900_117.exe (CPU 0%) and plugincontainer.exe. No matter how many times I killed all of them, would not restart Firefox.

  The following also not help in this situation:

  • Starting in normal safe mode: Firefox opens a window but immediately freezes and does not respond. The process list shows the same process even if I find the unexpected FlashPlayer.
  • Disable plugincontainer: same results (just without plugincontainer.exe)
  • Uninstall Flash: Same results (just without FlashPlayerPlugin)

  The following can start Firefox only once:

  • Starting in SafeMode but select "Reset Firefox": Firefox does not start right away, however. Nothing happens, and you have to kill the process. However the very next time you launch Firefox in the normal way, it works fine (but it shows FlashPlayerPlugin.exe in the list of unopened Windows process despite the tab). Unfortunately, after closing Firefox the process (Firefox, FlashPlayerPlugin) are not deleted. I kill and the problem with Firefox do not leave reappears.

  In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:

  • do not delete Cookies

  Leave the laptop disconnected for a longer period of time (a few hours)
  Then press the power button / stop along 30 sec.

Windows Update?  If it is standard, and it does not install, is there a way to reinstall the service?  I found a link on the Dell site that got copy tbssvc.dll from a work computer, paste it to a computer for non-working, create new registry keys and register the dll from the registry.  It works, but I prefer not to go down this rabbit hole if there is a simpler solution.  Thanks for your help.
