Name of the company to check on the supplier portal

I read that when signing your applications, you should make sure that you the company name that you have registered in the supplier portal should you match the application xml file and the parameter "cn". Anyone know how to check to make sure your company name is in the supplier portal? Also, your company name is specified in the xml file in the publisherID element? If anyone can check either?

Thank you!

~ Paul

Hi paul,.

You must place the editor in the blackberry data - tablet.xml. This is the structure that he must imitate:

      none false Sample Inc. core.internet your_image.png

Hope that helps. Good luck!

  • Disable the Passport to the supplier portal Support does not

    I have an existing application for the sale which has been marked as being supported for all devices BB10.  When the passport was released, the current version has been updated automatically show their support for the Passport (which is a hell of an assumption to make, but not the topic of the post)

    As the app is not supported for the Passport, I opened a session in the supplier portal and disabled support for the passport of the current version.  Connection again today, I see that it is still the case.  All the changes you want devices are controlled and passport is not.

    Screen grap of audit this Passport is disabled: http://tinypic.com/r/34gscw9/8

    However, I have just confirmed that in AppWorld, this application is available for the Passport.  Downloaded and installed smoothly (appears broken due to lack of support of passport)

    Did I miss something?  Users are complaining it is understandable that the app is broken for passport and this is wrong our rating

    Thanks in advance

    Hi people,

    A few things;

    (a) before a new device being available in the provider portal (and more if you launch to the public) we send all the BlackBerry World suppliers and let them know the new device, to provide links to resources, etc.  We also note that if your application supports a similar device (and not fail all of the tests made in-house), we will add the new device to your list of supported devices.  The realization of this is not ideal for some/many publishers, we also provide a link where you can opt-out of this process; allowing you to take your time and add the new device on your own schedule.

    (b) If a new device has already been added to the list of devices supported for your applications through the process described above, and that you want to remove, you will need to check your releases which have previously supported the similar device.  In the case of the passport for BlackBerry, you will need to check any release that supports the Q10 BlackBerry and BlackBerry passport to remove from the list of supported devices.

    Hope this helps to clarify.

  • How rapidly password reset messages get sent to the supplier portal?

    I am eager to present my application, but I forgot my password on the supplier portal and need it reset. What is the usual waiting period to do? I submitted the request about an hour ago.

    Any suggestion to get faster would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi willie44,

    If you can PM me your vendor name and address of e-mail you registered with I can view your account.

    If you do not receive the password instantly reset email, then 1 of 2 things wrong:

    A. your login email address, it's not what you think it is, which means you used specified an e-mail address and then used for General Communications between you and RIM.

    B. your captured email anti-spam filter.

    I always lean towards a., but until I get more information on your account I will not be able to confirm.

  • List of applications within the supplier portal

    Hi, in my account on the supplier portal, I have several trusted applications. However, there are a few applications that I decided not to sell more and therefore put to sale. I have no intention to sell more and would like to remove them to appear in my account.

    How can I achieve this?

    All you can do is remove from the sale.  You are not able to delete the versions within the portal of the supplier or product.

  • Rename the layer by using the name of the supplied object

    I'm trying to draw a map of the world that includes the provinces and provinces (counties).  I'll be it animation in AE. AE sees that the upper layers is essential which is the name of the top layer of the correct province. All provinces are unfortunately not layers. They are objects. I can use the "Release to layers" command to get all items nested in layers of high level. But the layers of high level generic names (Layer 1, Layer2, Layer 3). Objects nested within these layers have the correct name.

    Y at - it a script that will rename the top-level layer using the name given to the object nested within this layer? If this isn't the case, could sombody would be willing to help create a.

    Here is a link to one of the files: world_all_provinces_Senegal divisions. Level 1_area.zip

    Opps, I'm too slow.

    I could not open your file to test it, but during a quick test, it seems to work also.

    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    var n, p;
    for (var i = 0, l = doc.pageItems.length; i < l; i++) {
        p = doc.pageItems[i];
        n = p.name;
        p.parent.name = n;
    }

    But again maybe it is specific (not tested with your file or other) and so will not work in your case or other. Worth I guess that if.

  • How tdo I add a device supported in the supplier portal?

    Hello

    'Potential' user of ours sent me an email saying that it was not able to download our application to his BlackBerry "BOLD". He'll be back to me with the exact model number. We support only 4 models of "BOLD" from now (not touch ones).

    In fact, the app will probably work very well on the 9900 new but we just don't have it on our list of supported devices.

    So I have two questions:

    (1) if the user's device is not supported by our application, is it not see it in the App World?

    (2) how can I add a device supported via the provider Portal? I mean no return code. Can I make changes to the list quickly?

    Thanks in advance.

    (1) if the device is not supported, the user should not be able to see the application to all the

    (2) to set the phone support: go to see release (eye-like button), Edit, tab add the Release Version, scroll down, change the device supports, check all the boxes

  • Status of product on the supplier portal.

    IM problem for sale of my application, 'product status is pending review 1 CR (s) open' release have been approved

    but it seems that the approval of content you obtain ticket stuck for several days. No idea why?

    I can't say with certainty, but "Waiting on Seller" means for me they put the ball in your court in some way. Do you have an email asking for something to do on the content (metadata, such as description)? Have you checked your spam folder to ensure that you do not have? Or do you have an explanation for what waiting seller means in this case?

  • Impossible to send the output of the supplier portal

    Hello

    I'vfe tried to present my new version, but see only 'Edit' on the project output option in versions. Then I looked in the history of the changes and see a great other bugs of BlackBerry.

    Why should I spend hours to find why I could not not to submit to review my release? Why I can't delete any product or out of the system?

    Why it is too difficult to implement displayed messages/notifications if there are some problems with the product or liberation? Why there are emails to management issues in the BlackBerry vendor Portal?

    And later why: why BlackBerry do nothing to Vaucluse even developers (BBW, native SDK, OS), but just silently kills their products?

    Hello xnike,

    Look under your account, there is a button 'Submit for review' for your newest version "draft".  Please see the attached screenshot.

  • Supports multiple devices (PlayBook/BB10) under 1 name of the application

    I have an existing set of PlayBook available in BlackBerry World... all descriptions, screenshots etc. are designed for the PlayBook.

    Now, I did a version of BB10 of the game, I want to present as the same application... since it's the same application, just to a different device.

    Can I do this?... and if so, what is the process?

    I was going to try to download a new "version" to my product existing but feared that it could supplant the app PlayBook existing on or complain about etc. version numbers (basically, it is not clear and I'm fearing the worst just in case)

    If this is not possible... What is everyone doing?... I hated the apps named "Blah blah for BlackBerry PlayBook", as it seems that this verbal overkill... so I do not "Blah blah for BB10" (actually I know not yet if this style of naming is allowed.

    You can download a new package under the same product, and this will not affect the PlayBook. Just be sure to not select the PlayBook as one of devices supported when you do.

    Metadata (for example, description etc.) can especially be implemented separately for BB10 now, if you check the supplier portal. There is a default value, then the platform-specific variants if you wish.

    The world BB in the Dev Alpha client displays currently the screenshots or the description of the BB10 version however, but such things is expected every day now. Yet once, should not affect the PlayBook, although there are certainly things to change and... Well, always a risk I think.
