• How can I use applescript to move objects to a specific position on the page?

  I have a PDF file with a bunch of items of text on each page, but the margins are irregular.  I want to automate the following process:

  1. Select all the objects on the page

  2. move objects (such as a group, i.e. preserving their arrangement relative to each other) until the upper left corner of the object of most of the top-left {. 67 ", 1"} from the upper left corner of the page.

  3. go to the next page.

  4. Repeat steps.

  I work on a mac, and I see that Acrobat is scriptable using Applescript.  Is it possible to do it with this?  If there is another way to describe this process without Applescript, I'd be open to that as well.

  I'm after a script or another solution to automatically move the blocks of text to the specific X/Y coordinates on a page. I know it's possible with text anchors, but in my case, there is no text to attach the frame too. It's only a block of text on the page and I want that it align on a specific spot on each page by running a script or by applying an object style. It's 1 million pages, so do manually is a very time-consuming procedure.

  I want to create a navigation menu with submenus under only certain pages to display. One of the submenus that I want hidden. I want the menu drop-down submenu submenu to show the title of the services, but not to the title of the articles.

  Switch to outline view, right-click the pages you do not want to display in the submenu, then choose the command exclude the page from your menu.

• When I open Firefox a video of two girls shopping and a guy on a phone replace the icon until I have stop with the Task Manager. A normal icon returns when it reopened. .

  When I open the Firefox browser a normal icon appears for a few moments and then is replaced by a link to a video. When I played the video it shows two young women shopping and a young man talking on his cell phone comes and seems to describe the choice of girls at the shopping to someone on the phone. The girls look concerned, and the message seems to be something about privacy. It is a bit odd and ends abruptly. Initially, I assumed the video was published by Firefox, but I'm not sure. It has been on my computer for months. Sometimes I can go to Firefox and see a normal homepage, but usually, that is quickly replaced by this. If I go on Manager tasks and 'end task' to Firefox, I can then open the Firefox browser and it will be normal with just the icon of Firefox and no link to the video.

  What does that mean? This video is supposed to be on my Firefox browser?

  You want a reference, new in InDesign CS4. Read up on it in the help. InDesign CS3 or earlier, use Google for "Jong TEU InDesign script of cross reference", without the quotes.

• Application Navigation - best way to implement right top of the page "Menu".

  I am building a Blackberry application that has the following requirements. I need to create a 'menu' button at the top right of my screen that when clicked opens a list of items which, once clicked would open a screen). When the 'menu' button is clicked again buttons list disappears. A bit like the Blackberry menu but launched by a button attached to the top right of the screen. King of hard to describe, so please let me know if you want more details.

  I was reviewing what components are available and trying to figure out the best approach. I am using a button field list style (http://docs.blackberry.com/ja-jp/developers/deliverables/29251/Creating_a_list_style_button_field_16...).

  Any suggestions on a better way to approach it?

  Welcome!

  You basically need a button, ListStyleButton is fine, then you need a small screen to display, which will be a PopupScreen.  Get this working, then we can talk about positioning of the PopupScreen.

  The ListStyleButton seems to be an OS 7.0 field, but you will find something very similar here:

• ADF: Can ignore us the default activity of the ADF train in the stubborn workflow. ?

  I am a newbie for ADF and JDev. Start learning about the documentation provided for the ADF, I try to create a stubborn workflow that has an element of train and every stop on the train should be activated/skippered by program. I am able to jump the train stops after reading the content provided at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/82-programmatically-navigate-trains-396873.pdf.
  But I'm not able to jump to the default train stop which is the first call of the activity in my case during initialization.
  Here are the steps I followed:
  1 creating a project of viewController and created a workflow in bounded with the component train activated.
  2. added 4 displays with train component marking the first view as default activity appeal.
  3. According to the document, which I mentioned above, I've added bean managed to ignore the train stop by program files.
  
  Now when I run the workflow, I'm able to jump the number of train stops 2/3/4, but I'm not able to jump stop number 1 (first stop which is the default activity) at initialization.
  According to documents from the ADF, for a stubborn workflow must be assigned default activity that is always called first when we enter the stubborn workflow. Which means, default activity will always be called initialization of said defined workflow and never to be ignored by the program. ? Alternatively, if there is a way to jump to the default activity, so please let me know the documentation/measures to do this.

  Thanks Timo. Your idea has solved my problem. :)

  I created a new page in my workflow narrow-minded that I realized as a default activity for the workflow bounded. Then I applied the navigation via router and under certain conditions, I am now able to switch my order to my desired train stop. By this design, I can make another customization on train button(Back/Next).

• The training application has suddenly stopped

  I bought my W450 8 GB about two months ago. I had no problem with all the features of the unit (play music, bluetooth pairing with headphones and phone with a phone notifications not manufactured by motorola, phone calls via the W450, GPS, forming a couple with a polar heart rate WHEAT H7 sensor,...) until the last update (MY N8 1.7.3).

  I upgraded MY N8 (from MY N8 1.6.13) 1.7.3 two weeks ago, and time with the app W450 update notifications also worked well. But when I went running, after hitting the "Quick start" for training (the same thing happened after setting a goal or hit the 'Fit test'), I got the following error:

  "I'm sorry. The application training (com.motorola.gault.activity) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. »

  After some tests, I noticed it happened only when the W450 tried to pair with the WHEAT sensor. If I clear the list of sensor on W450 configuration, training can be started, but without the feature of heart rate.

  Another symptom, I get, is that I can't associate my W450 with my phone more. The W450 forget matching: whenever I'm going to "Configuration-> General-> Smartphone Setup", I get the question on the phone after Android 2.1 to discover a new phone. On the other hand, I can perfectly pair my bluetooth headphones and listen to music through them, is not a HW bluetooth related issue.

  I tried to restore the settings by default several times, erasing all the music and podcasts on the device and configuration WHEAT cfm, account MOTOCAST and the phone in a different order, without success, matching get exactly these two problems. I'm starting to think that the software of the device is damaged since I've updated to the latest version.

  Is it possible to force a reinstallation of the EM 1.7.3 N8 or return to the MY N8 1.6.13?

  I have a requirement to add dynamically different trains stop during execution, that are not part of the workflow at design time. I would like to build the train running, depending on various conditions that occur. Is this possible?

  Train stops are removable only from the model train before the rendering of the first view, i.e. during the initialization of the workflow task. At a later stage, you can not delete but hide stop. The train model is created during initialization of workflow too and any train stop, which is not part of the virtually nonexistent model. In your case I think that creating a model personalized train from the ground upward and using this train are the way to go. The default metadata workflow task based implementation does not seem to do what you need it for. Alternatively, if you can predict the maximum number of train stops, you can design them at design time, and remove those that you need not during execution using a HashMap of reference in the configuration of the train stop and check the values of the hash table initialization.
