  Unfortunately, without the access on the Windows CD you will not be able to fix it.

  The ntoskrnl.exe file is placed on the original Windows CD in the i386 folder.
  You could start at the beginning of the CD to make the repair console by pressing R
  In the repair console, you can use this command:

  Expand D:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_C:\windows\ntoskrnl.exe
  (D is the CD drive)

  But as said above seems that you will need the CD player

  But wait if the i386 folder has been installed on your HARD drive you could expand the ntoskrnl.exe in this folder to C:\windows\

  Yes I think it'll do. You just need the program to create the win 7 dvd iso file. There are several, and you can google it. To burn it on a usb flash drive, you can use Rufus 2.5 or newer version.

  Click Start, right click on computer and select Properties.

  In the left menu, select the System of Protection.

  In the Settings of Protection section, click on the external drive letter.

  If the external disk drive appear on protection, click on the Configure button.

  Select the option to disable the Protection system for this drive.

  This should return all the disk space used for System Restore on this drive.

  The two utilities that I mentioned manage alignment automatically. Also, I photographed my hard drive, then restored the SSD. I have no clone, which means a direct copy of the HDD to the SSD.

  I am aware that this issue (or different versions of it) will be requested a thousand times before, but after searching on the internet for a solution, I have been unable to find all the information that brings a simple clear answer that is specific to my problem and so thought I would ask the question myself.

  I recently bought a Toshiba 1 TB external hard drive to transfer music, photo files and internal document in front of the memory of my old PC running Windows, as well as files, music and photos from my existing MacBook Pro, so I can "release" the memory on the latter.

  Transfer files from the old PC proved to be easy; success achieved by simple drag / drop the files to the appropriate location on the external HD icon of Toshiba which appears once I connected to a USB port. It is perhaps worth mentioning that the area of States hard drive has been formatted NTFS for Windows, and so I guess that I would not have expected any problems when transferred to a PC.

  Move the files from my MacBook has however proved anything but simple and trying to drag the respective music and photo files and drop them on the HD Toshiba icon (which appears on my desktop once it is plugged), I seem to be affected by the same issues as so much seems to have it before me, in that "forbidden access" / error symbol appears with the cursor , and bounce the files to their original location whenever I try to place them on the Toshiba HD.

  I understand that this is due to the HD is formatted in NTFS, and that I would need to reformat the hard drive to move files from my MacBook, which brings me to my questions:-

  (a) how do I do this, and

  (b) can I do this without losing, damage or remove the NTFS files from my old PC, which are already stored on the external hard drive.

  If one is able to offer any assistance, in the most simple, easy to follow the description, I would be really grateful!

Intel 6 series/C200 Series Chipset Family SMBus Controller - 1 22; 5 instances of resources of the mother; digital data processor; programmable interrupt controller; 2 instances of card system; and the system clock. Before you recover my system last night, I had uninstalled the Intel RST 11.0.0.1032 program version. I have a single 1 terabyte hard drive (no RAID) and use the computer for my home-based business, and I had read elsewhere that it is not necessary for such a situation. Following this recovery, I see that the pilot in the path: C:\SWSETUP\DRV\Storage\Intel\RST\11.0.0.1032; However, the program is not in the programs of the devices & or Device Manager. -What is originally is current driver problems? I'd be VERY happy any idea that you could provide.   Thank you Joe Maniac.  I deleted the original linked files on my internal hard drive which were dng files, but had copies of the raw files edited and edited the exported raw files (in JPEG format).  I don't have copies of dng files.  So what I ended up having to do was import the original raw files which then made a DNG copy on my internal hard drive.  The link has not changed, but now the files were back in the original track for missing photo alerts disappeared and I was able to see my change history.  The process has been painful, but without the dng, I had nothing to do a link to more if at least re-import them files has recreated the dng.  I don't know if there was an easier way, but it seemed that the problem did not the link deletion.  I use LR for a few years, but it was a rookie mistake, precipitated by my hard drive being so jammed up I ended up delete what I shouldn't.  I should have just moved the dng and the link to an external hard drive.
