NB250-10R - no power no lights

Need help, my netbook do nothing. No lights and sound.
My question, the battery is bad. Is it possible that the battery is to blame for this.
What is the motherboard. Finally an I turn normally off, no problem.

Thanks for the reply!

You can try to remove the battery and try to start with power current only. If this does not work, maybe there at - there some problem with electronic power placed on the motherboard.

When the power connection AC is AC IN indicator on?

    Hello

I don't know if anyone can help, but about 2 weeks ago my laptop died, just turned off.
There is NO lights at all, and nothing happens when you press the "on" button

There is 19,42 volts, measured on the motherboard of the adapter.
I replaced the battery and motherboard and it remains dead.

I removed the disks and memory and the optical drive - still dead.

Any help to restore this laptop great would be appreciated

Thank you Ray - aka mihd

    > I have replaced the battery and the motherboard and it remains dead.

Are you sure that the new motherboard is ok?
There is not a lot of parts that may be affected: motherboard, CPU or RAM
If one of these parts is faulty, the laptop will not light.
But usually the power light flashes even if the CPU or memory would be dysfunctional.

In my opinion this motherboard problem, but who knows without a hardware check the person cannot say exactly what could be wrong here.

  • Tecra M9 - no power orange light error code sequence

    Hello

I have a Tecra m9 laptop and when I try to turn it on, it blinks with a light orange in this sequence:

6 short flashes, short 1 long blink, 1 blink, a ditch, and then it repeats.

Does anyone know what is the problem?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    See you soon.

What you see flashes code. The flashing provides an error code. Short means 0 and 1 long.

The hexadecimal code can be read by the service partner. The blink code will be sent when the microcontroller detects a problem with the power supply. Unfortunately you can not do anything alone. Contact the closest partner in your country and ask for help.

All you can try right now is to disconnect battery and start the laptop with AC power only.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Open settings and select System.  Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close the open windows and restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download the driver directly from Intel IMEI on the following link, unzip the and run the installer.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/26127/Intel-management-engine-consumer-driver-for-Intel-nu...

Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

When the machine rebooted, re - activate the quick start and restart the computer once more - let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite M50: Power LED lights but the white screen

    Hello

When I try to run my M50 all I get is the fan runs for about 5 seconds and a blank screen but the power light is on.

It makes no difference when its clogged, it won't start at all.
It's happened once before, but worked the next day without problem, this time it was more than a week.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Toni

I don t mean that it is a dysfunction of the motherboard at the moment.
Before we propose something like this, you should try something simply.

Try to remove the battery and unplug the power adapter for a while.
Wait about 10-20 min and connect the battery and AC to the laptop

Then try to start the machine, it could be useful and please come back and report your results.

  • Satelite L775 used high power - orange light blinks 5 times

    Greetings,

I bought my Toshiba Satelight new l775 7 months ago, it's so crazy. It used to be on, I use the laptop connected to the adapter 4 to 8 hours a day, then the laptop goes unused and unplugged for 16 to 20 hours a day.

This is my 3rd phone, I know that I put more tension on the previous two (HP and Acer). I've never had a laptop go on me this quick, even this acer laptop $ 300 crossed more tension and never went out in the 15 months that I got it.

My laptop backup is a HP of 4 years, I've had it for 4 years, its fell several times, used and abused still underway! I just had to level of ram and hard drive. But, this Toshiba! She was so beautiful when I saw him!

I have never dropped it, never spilled something on it, so why she put me through that stress at a bad time?

A bad time because even if I'm under warranty, I'm leaving on vacation in 2 days! I need it, I'm not trying to take my old HP that came out in 2008.

I can't afford to send my Toshiba for 2 weeks, not immediately.

Today, my anti-virus software was his typical scheduled scan, I didn't charge the laptop, because I was out of work, so when I leave the laptop gets used more and charged additionally. I look at the laptop and its judgment, I just thought, O... my battery died, I would plug in the adapter and do some reading. Nothing good happened. 8 hours later, I worked on it for more than 8 hours, I searched all over google, many forums, none of the following solutions worked for me.

Disconnect the battery and press power for 30 seconds
Unplug the adapter and press power for 30 seconds
Disconnect the battery and the adapter and press power for 30 seconds

(of course after the 30 sec thing, I tried turns on normally, with or without battery and power adapter).

I pulled the little battery round, hard drive, memory sticks (even changed the 2 around and I tried each one solo) I tried without any ram. I unplugged all the excess material, the only extra things I had was my usb mouse, but I unplugged that, even pulled the CD-ROM drive.

I removed all water-cooling, open the laptop to see if I saw something a coward, I don't see anything, the part where the adapter will seem a little loose, but it seems to go all the way and fine. I pushed hard and still nothing.

One thing I will say... I read at least 8 other fairly new poster of Toshiba satellite owners with similar problems of their laptop does not turn on. This isn't a good glance, since this is the first product of Toshiba, that I bought it and it costs $500 more than my acer laptop which gave me no problem in my 15 months of owning...
I'm not belittling Toshiba immediately, this problem might be a small question (I hope), I could be my fault, so I'm not belittling Toshiba again because I like a lot about this laptop, especially the graphics!

Return to this topic after watching the discussions of people with similar problems, I noticed, nobody had the same exact problem I'm having. See most of the threads I have read, people would still get the orange light when the battery has been driven. I ONLY get the orange light when the battery is in the laptop. I try and power without the battery and nothing happens, no light flashes. Many other people were always other color lights or lights in different locations, my only light flashes 5 times, the second place left and is orange.

The only light that blinked in the last 8 hours is the second light from the left (I think it's the power light) and it flashes orange or maybe its red light... but when I press the power (I tried holding, tapping, etc...) that the orange light blinks 5 times and stops, nothing happens I don't hear any readers of spinning, everything is just dead.

Thanks for the time and help!

    Hi a8000

Looks like you already tried all possible solutions
The flashing light indicates that there is a possible hardware failure, but it is not possible to say what part is malfunctioning, it might be the motherboard
However, the guarantee seems to be valid so don t waste time and report it to the service provider in your country, they should solve this Toshiba!

    Hello

My laptop is running or when it does it turns off suddenly without any warning.
The power light is on, but the battery doesn't seem to be loading.

I can't think that it's the battery that is the cause because power should keep the laptop or allow it to boot? Any suggestions?
One person suggested a possible motherboard and someone else suggested a charging problem?

Stand by. What happens when you remove the battery and start computer laptop with power only? You can use Notepad as usual?

  • PX4 - 300 d starts more-white LCD, power flashing light

My PX4 - 300 d has been quitely sit in a closet, storage of files. I don't have access to well over a month. I set it up maybe 2 years ago so I am only guessing at the RAID config, but I think it's a 3 X 750 GB RAID 5 drive.

I tried to access the share and failed. Ran a scan IP to see if I had the wrong IP and he could not stand. Physical control it and I saw that the LCD screen is light blue, but empty, and the power led flashes.

    I rebooted - nogo.

Drawn from all the readers and restarted - nogo.

Pulled all the readers and the hit the reset in the back (just above input AC) - nogo.

Fans spin, LCD is bright blue (but still empty) and the power button flashes.

    Next step?

  • Laptop does not - the power adapter light flashes three times? G62 b29SA

I was replacing the fan in my friend's laptop computer. I had a problem with the trackpad works not once I put back it together and this problem is not yet solved, but I have another problem that prevents me from getting more. Now when I press the button, the light power adapter (next to the socket for external power) flashes three times and that's it. It flashes three times, whenever I press the power button. It does this even with a connected external power supply (I'm sure it's supposed to just stay on constantly when the charger is plugged in but the power source I have is a universal set of one to 19 V - he was fed up with this trendy before but I don't know if it was taken in charge of it). Any advice?

I have the charger of my friend and now it starts very well. There seems to be a lot of sense for the three flashes based on my Internet research, but in this case, it seems that it is a way to indicate a low battery.

  • Aspire power E1 light - 572P stays on when I stopped. Screen turns off, but the router is plugged

When I quit my Aspire E1 - 572P the screen turns off but the blue light and the router remains connected.  Ethernet services and internet used to go off. Any suggestions please.

Go to power options. On the left side, click on choose what the power button. Scroll down and uncheck quick start. Save changes and close.

  • Intermittent operation (especially just a power indicator light flashes) on WRT-150N

Anyone know if these symptoms mean that my router is dead all just please? It runs for about a week or two and then the power light flashes quickly. It is then assigns IPs constantly, whenever I have try refreshing the DNCP on my Mac (or Linux).

I can get it to keep the constant power indicator by pressing reset while you insert the power supply plug, but then it sets itself simply IPs again.

It broadcasts its radio very well at all times.

Connect to it with a Mac just translates what OSX calls a 'time of connection' which seems to be MacSpeak for ' we tried connecting but your router is assigning its IP address, so we used to bother Cuatros "cos you will not be able to use this connection"

If I leave it off for a few weeks, I can connect again, and sometimes it works fine but only for a week or two. Then the power light flashes and it will not assign an IP address most.

It doesn't have the latest firmware, but it SEEMS a little more like a hardware problem than a firmware the firmware seems to be working fine when I connect it on the occasions where it runs correctly.

It would seem that the problem is indeed with the router. Try to perform a 30-30-30 reset and then check if the router will have now a stable performance. In case the router still does not work, then you can either: contact technical support for assistance or to replace the router with a new one.

    • leave unplugged for about 5 seconds, while you always hold down reset button.
    • Reconnect power to the unit while you always hold down reset button.
    • After about 5 seconds, let go turn off the reset button.
    • Visit the Web page of the router.
    • You should see the special mode.
