  My local library has given some of their old computers because they have upgraded and got new. I was lucky enough to get one of these free computers and it works fine. However, I need help to change its settings. The computer will save not things once I turn it off. I guess that one who originally put the computer settings in place did not want the personal files of the user to be saved because the computer was for public use. Whenever I tried to turn off the computer or restart everything I've saved, changed, and/or downloaded is deleted and it goes back to how it was when I got it.   The library may be installed as Windows SteadyState software that cancels the changes that make users.  If it is your computer, you can discover how to uninstall in the Windows SteadyState forum.

  If possible, I would recommend formatting the computer's hard drive, reinstall Windows from scratch and installing all the Windows updates available.  It is the only way to ensure that your computer is clean and not infected.

• Transfer of files from the old HARD DRIVE to new computer without an old computer. (He's dead - can not use) I have the hard drive, but need help to transfer my old files and settings.

  ·        My old Win XP computer died - it is completely unusable. I bought a new PC with Win 7 Pro and 1 TB. I still have the old HARD DRIVE (250 GB) which I have attached on the new computer using an external enclosure supports SATA drives. The external hard drive is connected to the computer in USB 3.0. I checked that the new computer can see the external hard drive. (I also used for backups by changing the hard drive with a 2 TB drive 'mass storage' - that works.)

  I searched the internet for possible solutions and found no help. If the transfer of files from Microsoft would change the disc to analyze, it would be simple. But if I select the OLD computer it scans the disk I'm on (new) - automatically.

  Is there anyone who has had the same problem? He must be because computers die all the time and people buy new computers - who then, somehow, they get the former transferred files. I could do it manually, but that wouldn't change the settings. Last resort would be to buy an old computer XP (SATA), replace the drive. Transfer the files, and then sell this computer.

  First of all, your drive has not been formatted or you would not receive this error message.

  Second of all, in response to this error message is different for different versions of Windows.

  A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

  In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

  If I m well to remember this old book was offered with Vista and recovery image was recorded on the second partition of HARD drive in the folder called HDDRecovery.

  Earlier this week, I made the change to a BB and overall I am very happy with it, but there is a thing that is annoying on the phone and despite my efforts and a lot of tinkering, I was not able to solve this problem, I'm looking for help.

  I try to send files to other Bluetooth devices to my BB 8900 and I can't do work of t. strangely, I can send my BB files to other Bluetooth devices with no problems but I can't send things on my device.

  but in vain.

  In a nut shell, I enabled bluetooth on my camera, I made detectable and combined with other devices that I am trying to transfer files from, I went into options of the terminal for these devices and their confidence, and then I tried to send files.

  If I send from another phone (LG viewty) or Nokia E61i, I get an error message indicating that "send failed".

  If I send a computer that was paired, I select the file I want to send > right click > sent to > Bluetooth > other and select my BB8900 in the list of paired devices. At this point, the computer appears to try to send the file, but I am presented with an error message indicating "file transfer Service is not found on device BB8900."

  Why is this? How do I am able to send files to my BB 8900 but not sent to it, and what can I do to solve this problem?

  This problem is causing me a lot of grief that I have given on other phones, I need to transfer to my new BB, unfortunately I do not have a USB cable to one of the phones, so Bluetooth is the best alternative.

  Hello. I am in need of serious help and consultation on an indesign CS4 on Mac issue with a directory I build on.
  The directory lists goes as follows:
  The previous designer door file justified name left that seems with following the address and city abbreviation. Phone number is always justified to the right, then between the abbreviation of the city and the phone number is a variable quantity of periods that are perfectly justified to the right on every time the phone number.
  They fill the space perfectly and are not typed in but are somewhat automated. What is - this and how did do that?

  I tried merging data and other things and don't see how to do this in Indesign CS4. Is a special plugin, and you know who's going to do? Thank you

If it is a text file with everything you need in the right order, with each announcement, it's own line, you can simply place the text file using automatic flow (hold down the SHIFT key when you click the loaded cursor) and the pages of ads ID until the whole file is placed. Then all you need to do is select and apply your style.
