Need help recovery product

Hello

I need to make a product recovery and as a non-technical Silver Surfer, I'm very nervous about doing things.
So far, I've kept all my data files, but I don't know how to save my favorites and all my messages in outlook.
Due to the validation error message I can't access Outlook, but I hope there is some way that I can always save messages.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

You don't have to be nervous about it. Recovery procedure is simply to do and after 20 minutes only you own operating system preinstalled with all the necessary drivers.

The only thing you need to do is backup data.
For outlook messages follow instruction given by Akuma.

    Option 1:

If the COA sticker is damaged, you must use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7, it will be exempt from the need to use the product key to activate your installation of Windows 7.

    Option 2:

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling. This will exempt the need to also use the product key.

    Option 3:

If neither options 1 or 2 is possible, then you will need to invest in a new license of full version of detail.

  • NEED HELP! OneKey Recovery with XP PROFESSIONAL

I managed to do a upgrade by using a Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 CD and everything works fine.

Now, I need help with a key recovery and how it will behave during a recovery of a backup I created AFTER the XP PRO upgrade:

AFTER THAT I updated to XP PROFESSIONAL, I made a full BACKUP of the OKR and saved to the "Partition/drive D:" (default location). Now, I need to know what will happen if I point OKR to this specific backup. It covers this image and boot with XP Professional?

I know not if I get the option to go to the new factory, I'll get Windows XP Home Edition. However, assuming that I did a backup on the disk D: AFTER my release to update to XP PROFESSIONAL, by selecting this backup during the restore process will put me back to the State in which the computer was when I created this backup (with the OS is XP PRO)?

I guess I still have a little confusion on this issue: is full this backup, I created a REAL IMAGE on the D: drive? ... Alternatively, it does contain THAT data user while OKR enters the OS Home Edition of the partition hidden during the restoration of this image?

If my backup on D: is a TRUE PICTURE, then I should be able to choose this one to restore and after the restore is completed, my computer should start XP Professional just the way it looked when I made the backup... Right?

p.s. I made the mistake of using RegSeeker, and as others have pointed out, my QuickLaunch disappears each time that I reboot and my desktop icons back to a default location after a reboot and no one has been able to solve this problem. Thus, my need to go back to the way things were BEFORE I created this mess.

Thanks for the reply and information. I just ran the recovery and everything came back perfectly with XP Professional. It is nice to have a gentle method of collection for all the times when I install something that I later regret.

  • Infected Winlogon.exe and explorer.exe accidentally deleted on XP Pro PC - need help from recovery console

    Hello

Windows XP Pro SP3 Dell Optiplex and been infected by Trojan in winlogon exe files and Explorer. AVG asked me if I wanted to force deletion and I foolishly agreed. Now, I get the BSOD and the message 'Windows logon done unexpectedly '.   It is a work PC and the CD only we have is the Dell CD to re - install and I know that I need as the first step recovery console. I don't know if the recovery console is on it, and then I need help for the uncomprressed explorer.ex_ and winlogon.ex_ and in their right place.

I'm not a total newbie, but it's been some time that I used the recovery console.

Help?  Thanks in advance and greetings to all

    Morey

Try to be more specific with the error messages you see, so it does not guess or try things.

Here is an example of a popular error message that sounds like yours (maybe):

    STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
    The Windows logon process ended unexpectedly with the status of 0xc0000034 (0 x 0000000 0000000 x 0).
The system has been shut down.

    What exactly tell your message?

There should be copies of XP system files backup all critical already on your hard drive in the windows\system32\dllcache folder (it is this case), you may not need any expansion.

I would like to see the exact error message, make a CD bootable Recovery Console, run chkdsk/r even if he doesn't find anything to do and then see the replacement of missing persons or suspicious files, either by copying it in the backup copies of replacement of the recovery, or from another CD Console, you can do if the Recovery Console gives you a hard time (first do the CD Recovery Console).

First of all, you need to start on something...

You can do a restore bootable XP CD as follows:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the command prompt.

Start by checking the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.  It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

I have no product key for my windows vista... I need help... pleaze!

If Windows Vista is already installed on your system and your system still works (even if only in safe mode) so you can be lucky.  There is a product called Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html which can be installed on your system and can retrieve the product key in the system files (only Vista does not provide this feature).

If you can not enter your system, it has already been formatted or something like that, there is very little that can be done.  There is no place that keeps a record of the product keys related to individuals (or computers) that can be checked and Microsoft will not give without proof of purchase product keys (which IS the key product - the sales receipt or even the disc itself is not enough).  You can't even borrow a disk from someone else because you need your product key to activate the program.  The only choice is to buy another product (you'll probably need a commercial full version as an upgrade will not work on a non-production system or one where you cannot install a product allowing to level).

You can TRY to get Microsoft to activate your system without a product key if you have the disk (there are codes on the disc, which mean it is valid or not), but I doubt it will work but may be worth a try.  To activate manually, go to start, search, and type in slui 4 enter.  Enter your country and press Next.  You will be on a screen with a phone number and a bunch of codes below.  Dial the number and browse automatic guests until you get to a human being.  Have your handy product code because it will be asked.  Explain that you have lost your product key, but the disc and it's the same PC.  They can give you a code to enter on this screen to activate Vista (or they have very probably you will say you are out of luck and they can not help you).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck! Lorien - MCSA/MCSE/network + / A +.

  • I have the windows product key sticker, but some of them are deleted. I really need help to send a photo to show him what it's like.

    Original title: product key

    Hello

I have the windows product key sticker, but some of them are deleted. I really need help if I can send a photo to show him what it's like. I formatted my laptop and he asks the authentic copy. I really need help coz 2 days left to activate.

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards

You can extend the activation period of 30 days by running slmgr /rearm since the Admin command prompt.

Then take a picture of your COA sticker with your phone, blow as large as possible to try to detect all the characters input for Activation.  You can also use a magnifying glass.

If you can not use the key to product then you will need to either the order of the restoration of the factory of the manufacturer of your PC media, or if you have a C:\windows.old folder you can try to reinstall the factory to SLP activation file.  However we do not support this so you will need to search on your own.

  • Failure of hard drive on HP laptop DV 6000 Pavilion Windows XPsp3 OS - need help data recovery

Failure of hard drive on HP laptop DV 6000 Pavilion - need help data recovery

HP Pavilion DV 6108 NR, RG365UA, purchased late 2006 at best buy, with Windows XP, upgrade to Service Pack 3. It has a Fujitsu 60 GB HDD partitioned into C: and a D: Recovery.

Windows tries to start, but goes to a blue screen with the message: "Unmountable Boot Volume" for a second, then just guard recycling until I force a shutdown.

Phoenix BIOS, hard drive test result: "Fail #1-08".

I ran a program to drive on the Cdrive analysis/recovery and it seems to show the directory structure intact, and he was able to recover some files. I used the free Seagate (which only retrieves the small files). The second pass only works so well and in the third set as the program says that I should not go further, and I need to contact a professional drive recovery company.

However, drive D seems to be intact, so I wonder if the disc is damaged or just one aspect of the logical drive C is bad.

How can I get the D: to run recovery on it software? The recovery discs, made by Best Buy, just proceed to the R / F / Q option screen, and when I press R, I get a blue screen every time.
Pressing the F10 key at startup bothers me nowhere. Ditto the key F11.

I don't like hard disk; This is the data (files, documents, images, etc.) that I want to.
I contacted HP to order recovery disks, but they are no longer available for my computer.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
