need sysdba access to change the initialization settings

When I log in the Enterprise Manager, go to the database, then the initialization parameters...
It says "you are not connected with sysdba privilege.

My preferences - a sys and password in the fields sysdba credentials...

What to do

What you need to do is to logout and log back with a user with sysdba privileges.
After clicking on logout, you will see the options:
-Disconnect from the database: database_name

-Display the database login page after the disconnection
This option allows you to reconnect to the database under a different name

Journal of Enterprise Manager and all other target
(Logged in as YOURUSER)

Select - Sign on the display and database database connection page after logout.
You will get then the option connect as sysdba. Change to connect as SYSDBA 'Normal'.

    7. You should then be at the Welcome screen.
    8. Connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.

Now, you download (free) MalwareBytes from here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?tag=mncol install, Update then do a scan of your system in safe mode, to ensure that it is indeed clean! • Need help to change the admin settings

I bought a used dell optiplex 755 from a local community college and need to change the admin settings so I can download the programs and files because it deletes every time on restart.

Do you a big favor and restore the computer to its factory settings.

    See: http://www.dell.com/support/Article/us/en/19/SLN291879/EN

If for any reason that does not work (for example, the school removed Dell 'restoration' software), go to the Community College of the it Department and ask them nicely to restore the computer to a functional State.

NB: If after restoring to factory State, you have any software "free trial" - any software particularly virus - be sure to uninstall.  The free trial period will have expired for a long time and the presence of antivirus software, even if idle, can cause a lot of problems.  Most of the antivirus software requires special removal tools provided for free by the Publisher of the antivirus software.  For example:

Norton's other attempts to remove the W32. SillyFDC.BDP worm failed, so they recommend using their recovery tool. How can I change the BIOS? Thank you.

You may or may not need to change the BIOS settings.  Assuming that you have a bootable CD with this tool, put it in your CD drive and restart the computer.  One of the 3 things will happen:

    1. the computer starts from the CD and you can follow all instructions you have Symantec.

2 watching very carefully that the computer starts.  You may see a message that says something like "press any key to boot from the CD-ROM.  If you see this message, press a key (for example, the space bar) and the computer boots from the CD.

    3. watch very carefully that the computer starts.  You will see a message that says something like, "to change settings, press F1."  The key that you press on will be different depending on your particular computer.  It might be F1 or F10 or del key.  Whatever it is, press this button and you will enter the BIOS configuration utility.  From there, you can change the boot order to CD first.  Directions to navigate the BIOS Setup will be displayed on the screen, but they will involve using the button tab, enter, and arrow keys, because your mouse does not work in this utility.

  • Changing the default settings for printing in Office Picture Manager

Anyone know how to change the default setting for printing in Office Picture Manager?

I have a user who clams that when they try photo printing settings in Office Picture Manager has been configured to print bac2 and paper 4 x 6.  Now when it prints, it must use the drop-down list boxes to tell it to print from bac2 and paper 4 x 6.
I changed the default settings of the printer to print from the bac2 and use paper 4 x 6, but they must still use the drop-down list boxes in Picture Manager.
    Thank you!

Although I maded the changes to the properties of the Windows printer I had to do that to solve the problem.

    To solve the problem:

    1. once in the print of the image window there is a link 'Options '.... "at the bottom right.

    2. once it's a click a print settings window that opens there. You will need to click on the link 'printer properties '.

    3. now the printer Document Properties window appears. Change of Source paper and media here.

    4. click on the OK button and now it's good to go.

  • How can I change the logging settings in Vista Home Premium?

I was in the management of the computer and discovered a few troubling record, such as how he was following my use of the office. Worse, I couldn't find no way to enable or disable the newspapers, as the procedures I used XP Pro and 2K 3 server did not work.

How can I disable logging of my use of Microsoft office, so that change the other settings for logging in Event Viewer? I had a class on the audit for XP & Server and I had to sometimes see newspapers located in a business environment (never had to do anything with Vista or 7 well) so I have a good idea of what to leave past generations of operating systems. How do I change however logging in Vista Home Premium? I can't access "local security policy" in my version of Vista.

    SlickRCBD salvation,

There is no way to disable the use of Microsoft office in the event viewer.

However if you want you can completely turn off event viewer of logging of all events performed on the computer by disabling the service on the computer Windows event log.

    (a) click on the start menu, type services.msc in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) click on services in the list now locate the Windows event log service

    (c) right-click on the service and click on disable

    I hope this helps!

  • Cannot rip CDs or change the rip settings

I can't "rip CD" or change the settings of "rip".  When I try to copy a CD I hit the rip button and I get the error message "CAN'T RIP ONE or MORE SONGS on this CD".  I tried several cd.  When I try to change the RIP SETTINGS I get the error message 'THE SETTING for RIPPING MUSIC COULD NOT BE APPLIED'.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall WMP12 but when I put the APPWIZ. CPL is not listed.  I don't know what else to do.  Please help me as soon as possible, I need to update my IPOD.

In WMP library, click organize , and then select manage libraries - music . What places are? If there is no available location, remove them and also make sure that a default save location is set. Do the same for the other libraries (videos, pictures, and Recorded TV).

If this does not help, open Windows Explorer, right-click the music library, select Properties and click on restore by default . After that, make sure that a backup location is defined (as indicated by a check mark).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to change the apn settings

    Hello

on two storms 9500, we can change the apn via the options-> advanced settings-> tcp/ip options.

But on two other storm 9500, it is not possible to do the same. These phones are used with different SIM cards than the old ones, on which you can change the apn settings.

Is it possible that this is due to the limited access rights Simcard?

The provider is Vodafone Germany for all SIM cards.

    Any idea?

    Thanks in advance.

    Try this-

Assuming that the device changing APN and APN = A don't change not device = B

Insert card SIM of the unit one type in the device of type B and B types SIM in a device of type. This will allow you to know what exactly the origin of the problem.
