  The problem.

  I am creating a spreadsheet to download information to a database.

  The database is very picky and all the blank cells cannot contain a zero but should be empty because some cells contain the URL of the image.

  A '0' instead of a string with a .jpg extension will throw an error.

  In general, I use an 'IF' statement to achieve this:

  = IF (A1 = "", "", A1)

  It works like a charm. However, I changed the map and now the cells have a 'VLOOPUP' function to draw the other worksheet data.

  If the target cell has no data the host cell will express a '0 '. This will raise errors on the upload.

  I tried to embed the two formulas without success. Is it possible to combine the two forms, or is there another solution to draw the other worksheet data and if the receiving cell has no data to express an empty cell / VIRGIN instead of a '0 '.

  If you need an example let me know.

• Two routers connected, but no Internet on the router downstream

  Hi, I followed the instructions in the FAQ for routers chaining daisy with only partial success.  I have a WRT54GS V6 router configured as my gateway.  The downstream router is a BEFSR41 v4.  Both have the latest firmware.

  I have visibility on the full network of machines, but the PC connected to the router downstream has no access to the internet.  PC connected to the router upstream did.

  I tried to exchange the two routers and reconfiguration, but only once the PC connected to the router upstream has access to the internet.

  Current configuration:

  Gateway - router WRT54GS

  Router IP: 192.168.1.1

  From IP ADDR: 192.168.1.100

  DHCP server: enabled

  Downstream BEFSR41 router.

  Router IP: 192.168.1.2

  DHCP server: disabled

• remove the two zeros of hexadecimal string

  I'm passing an ASCII string of bench to a VI I wrote and I start with "04" and my VI the ASCII get normal "04".  I then have to convert an ASCII string to a Hex string (using a solution of VI, which I found on the web) and instead, having it display Hex '04', it adds two zeros in the Hex display "0004".  I need to remove the two zeroes don't is just "04".  I don't know there is probably an obvious solution (I'm fairly new to LabVIEW). • Problem setting up Port Forwarding with two routers.

  I can't set up by Linksys RT31P2 and routers port forwarding WRT160Nv3.

  My setup is Webstar Modem = RT31P2 = WRT160N = Mac OS 10.6.5. (No configurable modem and ISP do not prevent port forwarding. It comes with two Linksys routers).

  I had a Monty Python-going around with the support of Cisco cat; and follow up with telephone assistance in which the agent knew nothing about port forwarding and his supervisor expressed the view that it was not possible with two routers. Sigh.

  If anyone can help me with step by step specific and simple instructions to configure routers. I know that the basic procedures. I'm not clear, what exactly changes on routers.

  I read that portforward.com has to say and it does not work so I must be misunderstanding something.

  The ip address of my computer is 192.168.1.103.  Are the last three digits of this speech concluded the two routers in the area on the port forwarding page? What other changes should be done what router?

  I know the port numbers that I use are OK because I can implement successfully if I connect to one or other of the routers (but not both), and my software of p2p shows port are open.

  Any help and suggestions most welcome.

  If you set up as I have suggested that you have only a single LAN that will be using in your addresses * 192.168.15 case. So in your case:

  1. change the address LAN IP of 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.15.2 WRT.
  2 disable the DHCP server.
  3. connect the LAN of the WRT port to port LAN of the RT.

  That's all. Disable the DHCP server will not affect whatever it is that you're connected LAN - LAN and DHCP server on the RT is still operational.

  After the change, previously the WRT computers may require a reboot to get a new address 192.168.15. *.

  Your computer to which you are transferring must have an IP static and not dynamic (or variable). Check the current IP information on this computer. It must have an IP address like 192.168.15.103, mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.15.1 subnet and DNS 192.168.15.1 server or maybe two other IP addresses instead. Note DNS servers if you do not 192.168.15.1.

  Then configure a static IP address on the computer. Use something like 192.168.15.10, 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.15.1 and the DNS servers you found before.

  After this implement 192.168.15.10 port forwarding.

  Yes it is possible.

  However, the Redirect method depends on what type of router without ISR-WAAS is:

• Tweaking of default query so that the two fields are searched equally

  I have a 'Customer Details' data block that contains the field "mobile1" and "mobile2" for customer's cell phone numbers. When a customer enters into a mobile number or a field, I need to check the two mobile fields to see if this number exist as the primary contact number or secondary to any client of the query.
  I've tried to set a default_where clause, but oracle automatically adds to him whenever a number is entered in the field, making me a little trouble at the head!
  
  For example, if I say something like, WHERE MOB1 =: BLOCK. MOB1 OR = MOB1: BLOCK. Mob 2 (do not question true, just one example)
  And I took #-# in the field of mobile2,.
  Forms adds to this "AND mob 2 =: 1'"
  
  which causes the query to return nothing, since there is no entry mob 2 is equal to the registered number, even if there is an entry MOB1 bearing the same number.

• two routers E1000 allows to increase the wireless signal

  I have an E1000 router in my office with a cat5 cable going to my room of girls through several doors and some corners. She (recently brought in) also has a router E1000.

  I need to know how to use both routers to increase the signal wireless in his room. I have not tried anything yet.

  The router in my office is configured with the address 192.168.2.1.

  I think that the E1000 does not support the type of internet connection "clipping". Bridge mode would be preferable to use. Be sure to install the latest firmware and see if it does.

  If not, configure it as follows:

  1. connect a computer to the (second) E1000. Open the web interface at http://192.168.1.1/

  2. on the main configuration page, change the address LAN IP of 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.2.

  3. on the same page, disable the DHCP server.

  4. save the settings.

  5. unplug the computer and cable cat5 wire in one of the the second E1000 LAN ports. Do not use the internet port of the second E1000!

  Your daughter can use all three remaining LAN ports and the wireless connections.

  For more of a mobile wireless network, the wireless on the two identical (SSID, wireless security, password), don't forget to enable the SSID broadcast, leaving auto channel or use two channels at least 5 apart (e.g. 1 & 6). Customers thus wireless should be able to walk almost invisible between the two access points.

  Thanks to Johnsold, Helmut O'Brian and Jcarmody, who helped me through a string function complicated (for me, the noob of LV), I got away with my project and I'm very close to its end.

  As I've described it here I wanted to explore an array of words combined with-, i.e. C1 - C10. Help, when I arrived, I was able to do. I also learned a few things and was able to do the following:

  I was also able to combine these two functions

  Now, back to my problem.

  Until now, it was just a 1 d array that I worked with. In fact, it's a 2D array, I read a. CSV file:

  

  As you can see there are a few places where things is combined with either - or by commas. I need to widen the first column as described above and as resolved in the thread I mentioned. Fact! No problem. I extracted the first column in table 1 d. Then expand it. Now, I need to replace in the original array and also expand all.

  I enclose below two screws. Start by opening the main.vi. Then copy.vi. I tried to describe the problem here too. You can see what I've accomplished and what is missing.

  Tasks:

  1. replace the column expanded in the original array and expand all.

  2 copy the needed lines.

  In the main.vi, I do the 1 d expansion, but I have the problem with the expansion of table 2D. In copy.vi, I managed to copy the lines. If this part is done.

  Basically, I need some advice on enlargement that I do and how do I get the 2D table also expanded. Because I have not much experience, I feel more comfortable working with 1 d arrays. But I can't seem to get any further with this 1 d-> expansion 2D.

  I also really can't seem to find a smart way to implement my function of copy-line-in the main.vi.

  P.S the joint screws are manufactured in LV2010.

  Fortunately, I can attend some courses of basic home OR here in Norway, but so far, I'm still learning and I think that sometimes, I try to do things that are way out of my League
