Well, that was until the NEW HDD has not only three months later, making me lose ALL the images of my childhood! Ready to recover all these photos, I put off to send the laptop to Toshiba for repairs as my father and I worked for months to try to extract the data from a failed hard drive. We spent many hours and a lot of money, and nothing has worked. Resigned, I called Toshiba to get my hard drive replaced (my computer was under warranty). Although the first lady was unfriendly and rude, the case manager I talked after him was the image of professional, she apologized profusely and said: second day of air would be sent a box to pick up my computer! She promised that the repair would cost nothing, take only a week and returned the second day of the air! I was happy!

  Two days later, I registered for the box when he arrived, packed my computer and sent it to Toshiba. I received a call to let me know that they have received and a call a week later to say it had shipped and was heading towards me! It had to happen on Tuesday, so I stayed home all day not wanting to miss his arrival, imagine my surprise when not only did he not arrived Tuesday, he didn t happen several days after as well!

  On Friday, I was quite worried call Toshiba. When I explained that I would have received my computer now, they told me that UPS had rendered the computer at my door on Tuesday! My Doorbell never rang and was never asked to sign for a package! Toshiba said that they did not apply for a signature on my laptop $800! They said that it was the fault of UPS s and I should talk to them! So, either he was delivered and stolen or never delivered at all!

  When I called UPS, they apologized for the confusion and said that Toshiba would have to be the one to bring it to the missing point! Then I called once more where they told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to file a police report and talk to Toshiba repair service. I been waiting for 45 minutes for service and nobody has ever said! When I finally hung up and called back case manager, I spent more than an hour on the phone, explaining that even if I understood that it was an opportunity very rare for Toshiba, I could not afford to spend hours waiting for a Department that did not, only to try to solve a problem that could have been avoided on Toshiba end of s if they requested a delivery signed on a very expensive item! And they would not have had to face this problem if they were not given a defective item in the first place! They told me to wait for Department of repairs to call and that I had to file a police report, provide documents and wait for Toshiba and UPS to hash things.

  Well, the repair Department has STILL not returned my call, although several messages have been sent to them to ask them to call me! I am a student and desperately need a computer to take care of the College work, taxes, planning and other! I can't afford the many months it will take to get this sorted out in addition to the EIGHT months that I have owned a computer brand new broken! I put t know what to do!

  My mother suggested that I use my prepaid Legal Service to resolve, but I d really rather not venture that disorder can anyone suggest a solution? It seems as if it was too rare an opportunity that Toshiba says it is, he n t be as big of a deal just replace my computer which should not have failed in the first place!

• Synchronization of the inputs and outputs with different sampling frequencies

  I'm relatively new to LabView. I have a NOR-myDAQ, and I am trying to accomplish the following:

  Square wave output 10 kHz, duty cycle 50%.

  Input sampling frequency of 200 kHz, synchronized with the output that I get 20 analog input samples by square wave, and I know what samples align with the high and low output of my square wave.

  So far, I used a counter to create the square wave of 10 kHz, display on a digital output line. I tried to pull the document according to (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/4322/en), but I'm not sure how sample at a different rate than my clock pulse. It seems that this example is intended rather to taste one entry by analog clock pulse. There may be a way to create a faster clock (200 kHz) in the software and use that to synchronize the analog input collection as well as a slower 10 kHz output generation square wave?

  I eventually have to use the analog inputs to obtain data and an analog output to write the data channel, so I need the impetus of the square wave at the exit on a digital PIN.

  How could anyone do this in LabView?

  All subsystems (, AO, CTR) derive from the STC3 clocks so they don't drift, but in order to align your sample clock HAVE with pulse train that you generate on the counter, you'll want to trigger a task out of the other. I would like to start by a few examples taken from the example Finder > Input and Output material > DAQmx. You can trigger GOT off the train of impulses, start by Gen digital Pulse Train-keep -you probably already use a VI like this to generate 10 k pulse train. AI, start with an example like Acq Cont & chart voltage-Ext Clk - Dig Start.vi-you'll want to use the internal clock so just remove the control of the "Source of the clock" and it uses the internal clock. From there, simply set the "Source of the command" either be the PFI line generates the meter, or ' //Ctr0InternalOutput '-assuming that you are using the counter 0. You'll want to make sure that the start of the task HAVE faced the task of counter I is ready to trigger off the first impulse. They should be aligned at this point.

  For debugging, you can use DAQmx export Signal to export the sample clock - you can then brought the train line and the PFI pulse to make sure that they are aligned.

  Hi, I do the DVD at the moment and have a question about the menu and chapters. I don't know if I'm doing this common sense, my compilation has 28 chapters. I put as much so people can 'jump' in increments of 5 minutes before inn. There are 4 menu buttons on the main menu SCREENS, PLAY ALL, FRIDAY and SATURDAY.   They can be pointers or buffers. Which of the two is ambiguous in the syntax of C. However, in your case I suppose that piMsgId and pcLen be a pointer to a unique value and pszDest a string buffer.

  Description is not really clear however most of the C API require today the length of the allocated buffer at the entrance to make sure that they don't overrun the buffer length. They may or may not change this value before returning to indicate the amount of data they actually informed. The pcLen parameter passed by reference probably indicates that this function does this way.

  It is not necessary. You can simply set the parameter to a string and must be passed as a C string pointer. In LabVIEW 8.5 or more you can also configure to resize this string for the number of characters as indicates it a different setting of the library to compose the node (CLN), in this case your pcLen. 8.5 you can use a table to explicitedly initialization function create a table Bbyte of the length needed, convert the byte array to string and pass to the CLN parameter. • I need to control and communicate with a cell - Mecmesin Multitest 2.5 k - via USB/serial - ideas?

  I am currently working on a project where I apply force on a hardware - software (non-associated labview) who is provided with the tool (Mecmesin Multitest 2.5 k) allows to control but (of course), I want to control it using LabView, as well as plot data using LabView.

  This issue has developed several years on these forums, but it was never a good answer. I'm suitable for use of LabView for the simplicity of programming (loops, arrays, sorting data etc.), but am a newb in most other respects--unless companies have subVIs!

  The tool is now using a USB-serial connection (PC - end is USB). I think I could use rs232-rs232, but someone in the dept said it still doesn't work, which could mean that the cable series is cheesy. I wish it works however, USB, as ideally something else is connected to the serial port currently.

  Is this possible? If Yes, can anyone help?

  I'm pretty new to the scene of the VM and try to configure the ability for my bosses to connect to a virtual desktop, while they travel.  I have setup a Viewserver, a vCenter and a main domain controller.  I send you all the traffic through our firewall through the DMZ in the Viewserver.

• I have mac pro 3.1 and it is insufficient for what is his is. I need an internal card with more flexibility to the inputs and outputs as used in windows systems.
