Nested MasterPages or links to the States?

I need to create an interactive prototype in fireworks CS5 that has two rows of menu buttons. Master page using I can modify the buttons in the front row in one place. However, after clicking on a button in the first row, a second line appears with buttons specific submenu on this first line box. I want to solve this problem using something like "nested master pages", so that each first button a line can have its own master page for its second line buttons. In the same fireworks png file. Is this possible?

Another solution would be to use the States for the second row, but if I understand correctly, it is not possible to create a buttin in a State, which connects to another State?

The main purpose of all this is I want to be able to change all the buttons menu from one place. I guess that it could be solved by separating the prototype to several different pngs, but in this case, I have to change in each sub - png file if I want to change the appearance of (or link to) all the buttons.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

The main web layer cannot be shared, BUT , you can create a LAYER UNDER the web layer iin, shareable web store opposes here and that the layer sup CAN be shared just like a normal layer can be shared

Another alternative would be to create a graphic symbol and add hotspots to the symbol itself. With the help of this stream of work, links and illustrations are all contained in the symbol, so if you need to update the navigation, simply open the symbol and make your changes.

A caveat of this workflow: do not resize instances. Things tend to become unpredictable if you resize an instance that contains the web objects.

    Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to bind the State buttons to activate their steady state together. For example, when the 'Pioneers of Design' link is hovered over, it turns red and links to another page. The yellow image loses the white opaque screen 25% top when it is steady-state and also links to the same page. The two are in separate State buttons. Is there a way to link the two so that when I hover over the image the screen disappears, but also flushed the pioneers link at the same time and vice versa during the overflight of the pioneers link? I know that both can be assembled into a button of the State, but this means that the huge gap between the image and the text would create the hover state as apposed to single during the overflight of one or the other. In addition, I don't know what will happen, because the text links remain fixed when scrolling and the image links are not. Is there a way to do what I'm talking about? Thank you.

    There is no built-in way to do reversals rambling, but if you are looking for on the web, you should be able to understand how the respective CSS rules and their implementation as custom HTML or after the publication of the site.

    Hi Ryan,

    Here's what you need to do to fix the link Industries - select the "INDUSTRIES" textframe inside the trigger - make sure that the textframe is selected and is not the trigger - and select the drop-down list of hyperlinks field that has the link to the applied Industries page. Click the X button next to the hyperlink field to remove the link of the textframe.

    After doing the above, as well as other triggers - trigger Industries would have the link but the textframe inside doesn't have the link attached to it. Now preview/publication to check the link of Industries.

    Let me know if you face problems making the fix.

  • Create a link to a State... why the State lacks Ahh!

    I spent 1/2 day, trying to get a button link to a State that seems to be missing the interaction > choose target > the Application menu.

    I hit the 20 State max limitation and I have to now use States within the custom/generic components... but now when I try to link to them with one button to another component this subreport is missing. Here is a diagram showing what I'm doing... and I have to hurt?

    So... is the first question possible to link a button in a subreport to a subreport to another component. Subreport is perhaps not the right word... but I mean a State within a component.

    I suppose you want the buttons in the control panel (i) drop down to post a link to any other product in the following state information?

    Here are the basic things I did to make it work.

    In Flash Catalyst, I added an interaction to change the State of the main application of 'Room01Products' on (i). The rest changes to the project when done in Flash Builder.

    Once properly imported into Flash Builder, I open the Mani.mxml file, and then find the Room01Prodcuts component (Yes there is a typo in the name in, as I've never done this) I then gave this element an id attribute:

    Then, I open the Room01PanScrollingContentSkin.mxml file. It is located in the directory of the project components.

    In this file, we will find the event handler for the (i) that we added in Flash Catalyst.

    You should see the following line of code:

    mx.core.FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.currentState = 'Room01Products';

    Add this line of code:

    mx.core.FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.productInfo.currentState = 'Product28';

    You will see reference us the productinfo component in code and define its currentState to 'Product28' I had him show something else than the first State of the component. Now when you click on the (i), it will change the two States concerning the application and one for the component.

  • Impossible to update plugins, because the "State of the plugin" page links to plain text

    Left in the Add-ons Manager, I clicked on "check to see if your plugins are up to date. When the State results page displayed, is in plain text, like this:

    There is nothing to click on update a plugin. Whenever I open the Add-ons Manager - even when I search for new Add-ons, I feel this style of formatting of plain text.

    I clicked by mistake on "Mark it as resolved. FredMcD response has not solved the problem.

  • How can I get a compact table of progam links in my Menu start & hide the links of the unused programs

    I use only a few programs also installed, but Microsoft includes many blote that I have no idea of how to use and I'm afraid to touch it because it loads and pollute my registry and install additional programs that are NOT deleted when I try to remove shops I've tried, not required updates continue , and it slows down my PC.

    Is there a way to create a start menu which is a 'Text ONLY' table several column of links format indentation, plan programs where the subprogramme links are nested under the link of the main application. WITHOUT NO GRAPHICS and the links BETWEEN EXCESSIVE SPACING.

    I use about 8 different computers, home (1), work1 (2), work2 (2), laptops (3); with a few different systems interacting with cloud OS based documentation and applications: Android, Ubuntu Linux, Win8.1, Win7.  I'm a businessman, not a software engineer.  I want at least that Microsoft products give me the basics in a concise format.  I need to work, are not distracted by the presence of explore graphical representations.

    I want to see all of my 'USEFUL' applications as a small a space as possible. WITHOUT GRAPHICS, able to hide not currently useful links, with the documentation associated with each of the links in the application independently available with the right click of the mouse.

  • Declares the State not shown (CS4/Win)

    I know that this question is asked before but I couldnot find any real answer to it in the last 6 pages of the forum.

    The problem is that the State (the clicked State) down a button is not preserved when I use a masterpage. It works in preview mode, but when you go to "Get an overview of all pages" it does (see attachment). It is tested on Vista SP1 and XP SP3. I have attached a simple png showing this. I guess it's a problem with the engine of export, it will not work in the Solution Explorer, nor in ff.

    There is another strange behavior:

    -by loading a PNG I have to click first on each page, or clicked pages do not work when you do "show an overview of all pages";

    -I don't see any difference when I link a page to a template or not.

    -I am not able to activate really more "all the way down the State". It is enabled from the context menu, but it will never show when looked at him. Not even in standard preview mode,

    -When the number of States in other pages is less the number of States on the masterpage, you will get a decent error, but an error internal to complain about virtual functions.

    BTW, there is a dirty workaround, and that is to add the button on every page (in this example, a green rectangle on the page 1 and 2). It is of course not a very good idea, because it will lead to maintenance problems.

  • How can I remove the 'State' that wants an installation package "status.msi" I do not have?

    This laptop does not accept even in SP3. It doesn't have enough RAM for Win7.   I got rid of bad bits with chkdsk.  Status tries to install all the time & I can't find how to remove it.

    The link with Microsoft wasn't working, so I checked on Google and found this annoying file is a file of HP printer so I deleted the HP printer program, which got rid of the file.  It seems, I then have to re - install the program without checking the update box, I'll try it when I have the time.

    link the button to a property of an element, and then change all the elements in the datamodel. ListView reflects these changes.

    There is a problem in the APEX when I open a modal page-> submit modal page and refresh parent region (report one).

    When I first open a report from the region and click the modal page, everything is ok:

    Modal page values are defined in the sense of link that open to it.

    Submit after modal page by button (there is a process of dialogue), the dialog box is closed. On the parent page, there is a DA - dialogue close report parent refresh.

    After update - waiting indicator is indicated - all the element referenced in the link to open modal values are defined as empty values.

    Hi Jozef,

    the values of your page P9_NEW1 - P9_NEW5 items are not in persistent session state, they are only available in memory at the time when the page is rendered. Every time when you want to refer to an element in your report, and no matter if it is in the report SQL statement or as a substitution in a link, it must present the server as part of the "Refresh" / AJAX call so that the server can initialize this session state and you are able to reference it. You can do this by setting "Page elements must send" your report. In your case, you must set it to P9_NEW1, P9_NEW2, P9_NEW3, P9_NEW4, P9_NEW5. See the example updated, you provided.
