network and wireless ethernet card problem

I have a compaq 621 notebook.it has an ethernet connection from realtek and railink 802.11 wireless connection.  recently, I tried to set up a local network. But the lan connection wireless and ethernet connection to the local network gives a message "unexpected error occurred", every time that I right click on the icon. " IAM under WIN XP OS... network drivers are installed properly.

If you leave a space between the % and the------in

should be
no space here
This is probably why the command failed.

Why not install service pack 3 years ago?  Despite the use of Kaspersky, your unprotected system is vulnerable to malware.

Click Start > search
Click 'all files and folders' and type netshell.dll in the "All or part of the file name" box
Click the button next to 'advanced options '.
Check the boxes for "Search system folders", "search for the hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders".
Click on the button "search".

Netshell.dll found?  It should be in the C:\Windows\system32 folder.

Repeat the above to search for ole32.dll (NOT ole.dll)
Ole32.dll found? At least one copy should be in C:\Windows\system32.  Search can find copies in other folders, including some that may appear in blue.  Simply confirm that there is a copy of ole32.dll in C:\Windows\system32.  See-->

If re - run the commands without the space does not fix things, please answer the rest of the questions:

What are the names and versions of any other security software installed?

Please provide a concise summary of the steps you have taken to set up a local network.

Open the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK)

  • Expand the "Network adapters" section by clicking on the + sign to the left
  • Double-click references to your card Realtek Ethernet and your Ralink Wireless card and report to what is displayed for each under "Device status" and "use of the device.

Open network connections (start > run > ncpa.cpl > OK)

  • I guess that's where you get the error when you click the icon for the connection to the LAN (Realtek card) AND the wireless network connection icon (the card Ralink).  This hypothesis is correct?
  • What happens if you double-click on the icons?

  • Unable to connect to the network and wireless interface does not appear in ipconfig/all on Vista32

My niece has a laptop of HP under vista32 who cannot access the network wirelessly or wired.  She is in College and needs the laptop on the network as soon as possible for his class work.  I tried to reload the driver wireless driver (Atheros AR5007 b/g) and reset the tcp/ip stack using the command netsh addressed in the microsoft article, but nothing works.

I brought the laptop to work where we have an unsecured wireless lan (called comments) for visitors and the laptop can go out and find all points of access wireless including comments.  When I select the comments and try to connect it times out and tells me to watch driver and tcp/ip connections.

Another clue may be that the wireless card does not appear when I type ' ipconfig/all', or the adapter wireless and wired adapters are not displayed:

In the case where somone has this same question, I wanted to post my final resolution of the problem. I backed up its data and restored the laptop to factory default using HP restore and now everything works fine.  Better I would say loading Zone Alarm on Vista was a bad thing for my niece to do.  Would have been nice to find a magical solution to avoid restoring but never found one.  Even after the alarm zone using their instructions by removing completely, there was apparently a problem with the registry who wouldn't let networks are working properly.  One thing I noticed after that the restoration was the HP Wireless Assistant poped up and told me about available networks, etc.  Assistant wireless didn't pop-up at all whne the cell was dismantled so maybe assistant was broken?  Well, I'm out...

Have a 8600 JO Plus (CM750A) (N911G), he worked on the wired connection with a static IP address. Then one day she stopped communicating on the cable network. Don't reset to the default values, but still no connection, no activity lights on the connection on the printer's ethernet port. Configure to use the wireless connection. He worked for a while, and then he stopped too much work, could not see it on the wireless network. Reset to the factory settings, yet could not set the wireless connection. She see the SSID of the wireless and allow to enter the password, but would not connect to the wireless network. Now cable and wireless connectivity will not work. I think that the network adapter is broken. What is the OPINION of the Committee of the network so I can order a new one? Connected to USB at the moment and may have a printing station. So OK for now but need a new Board of Directors network. Or any other suggestions on how to connect to wired or wireless. I set factory defaults may times and set a static wired network IP address (which does not stick).

  • Bluetooth network and Internet connection sharing problem

I am putting in place a network via Bluetooth between two computers later with Toshiba Stack installed and to share the Internet connection with the second computer.

On the computer of trees I put Internet connection sharing, and for this reason, it automatically assigns addresses TCP/IP for the Bluetooth Personal Area network (192.168.0.1).
On computer 2, I put everything to get it automatically. Firewall (Kaspersky) disabled.

When I connect 2 Bluetooth devices, everything looks fine, the 2nd automatically gets the IP address, I can ping both computers and Internet works also on the 2nd computer, for a few seconds! After that, it appears as the 2nd computer is disconnected from the network... what could be the problem?

In the case of the observer under the System tab, I found information like these:
    2nd comp:
The system has detected that the network \DEVICE\TCPIP_{E44D18EB-91F5-4 adapter has been connected to the network and launched a normal operation via the network card.

The browser has forced an election on network \Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{E44D18EB-... because a master browser was stopped.

and the 1st model also appears this:
The system has detected that the network Bluetooth adapter... Area Network - Packet Scheduler Miniport has been disconnected from the network, and the network adapter configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact your vendor for updated drivers.

In your case, I would look at the following Web site:
    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/redirect.php?page=pages/HOWTO.html
    It lists the following document:
"Internet on PDA via PAN using Notepad as a gateway."
In your case, the PDA is another laptop, but the procedure should be very similar.
I would check the firewall settings later if it still does not work.

  • How to configure a multihomed in Windows 7, wired network and wireless networks at the same time?

    Hello

I have a fixed computer Windows 7, I need to configure for the use of wire and wireless networks.

On the phone we transfer vast amounts of data, astronomy cameras than only products of 20 to 30 seconds, space images 3-4 GB each. The cameras are connected to the top of a tower, which in turn is connected via a 45 feet cable CAT-5 to the search engine.

Internet access requires a wireless network connection.

These two connections work - separately. I have to disable an and activate the other to pass. This jump back and foth is obviously a bit inconvenient.

How to configure Windows 7 to manage both types of networks at the same time? On another forum I learned this kind of configuration is called multihoming, and it's something difficult to achieve.

Having studied more about it, there is another possible solution called Internet connection sharing. that may be easier. I haven't used this option for years (since the routers were introduced) but is still active.

Disable DHCP on the Dovado or use a cable between the PC and the laptop.

Turn on the wireless on the PC and make sure that you have an internet connection. Disable wireless on the laptop. Connect the PC's LAN ports and laptop (via router or a cable crossover).

IN the network of PCs and next to the connections Sharing Center, you must have 2 Ethernet and WiFi options. Double click on WiFi, then on the next screen, click Properties.

The second tab in the next screen is sharing, check allow other users of the network to connect and then OK.

Define the IP addresses for PC and laptop as in my previous post, but this time on the laptop set the default gateway to the IP address of the Wired of the PC port, the 1st DNS to the address of the Huawei and value of secondary school who suggested for your ISP.

This affects your PC to access wireless internet and allows the laptop to access the internet via the PC

  • Satellite A300-1NO - Player cards and SD memory card problem

    Hello!

There are a few problems with the card reader built into my A300 1NO. If I put an SD (SD or SDHC) inside, he wants to recognize the cards as the XD memory cards. In Device Manager window is therefore a "Ricoh xD-Picture Card Disk Device" listed here, with a yellow exclamation point, and the card is not at all as by car.
With Memory Sticks, there is no problem, the player manages them almost without problem.

I tried reinstalling the drivers by running the installation program "Ricoh Card Reader", which is downloadable from the toshiba site, but it did not help.

    So what's next?

    Hello!

Did you remove the old driver before installing a more recent?
And you can format the SD card using the Toshiba SD memory?

Normally, the card reader must be able to read SD and SDHC cards too. Have you tried the cards from different manufacturers?
I use the SanDisk Extreme III cards, and don t have problem with these cards.

  • HP Pavilion g7-2004sd suitable for implementing SSD caching and upgrade ethernet card

I intend to buy the laptop mentioned above, which comes with a 750 GB (5400 RPM) HDD, Windows 7 64-bit operating system.

To make programs run faster, I want to do an upgrade of SSD with the Intel SSD 313 caching.

The store where I buy the laptop does not support this, but I was told that the standard HP warranty is not null when done elsewhere. My question what is the best choice for caching, for example 20 GB (by the Intel SSD 313) or by implementing caching of Corsair SSD 60 GB, assuming that, on the motherboard, there is a space for installation of the caching.

Is it also possible to upgrade the ethernet card and replace the default map with this one:

    Intel WiFi 300Mbps (6235 N) + Bluetooth 2.1, 2, 1 + EDR, 3.0, 3.0 + HS, 4.0 (WHEAT) (dual 2.4 Ghz & 5.0 Ghz band)

to make the WiFi works best when more than one user.

To be honest, I'm not sure that this system will support the caching of the WSSD.  Pagedownload of systems that caching of the WSSD to support have usually a driver Intel RST available under chipset on the software and drivers.  This feature is generally reserved for the final product lines more high as ultrabooks and some Envy laptops.

Page 41 of this guide lists the available wlan modules that will work in this book.  If it is not in this list and was not ordered to HP, then the wlan card will not work.

To be honest, looks like a Ultrabook as is this a more of what you are looking for because it comes with a cache of WSSD drive.  It does not list the technical details, but it appears when the customization of the laptop and it is not removable during the configuration of the laptop.

  • For wired network and wireless EAP process

    Hello

I am confused with the EAP process when compared between wired and wireless. As far as I understand that EAP working if wired authentication of 802. 1 x, the client must have an IP address on this subject in advance. In other words, EAP process cannot start without the IP address on the wired client. For the same reason no doubt allow us DHCP traffic switch low impact.

But when it comes to wireless it looks that the EAP process can function without an address IP is required on the wireless client. My understanding is correct? If Yes, how can EAP process of progress without an IP address on the client because there might be a scenario this RADIUS/ISE server can be available to the client on a network of layer 3 for authentication 802. 1 x.

Thanks in advance for clarifying this confusion. I'd appreciate also all link to a good document that covers this concept.

    Kind regards

EAPOL traffic between switch and host is not on IP and runs before DHCP.

  • T430 - (eventually dislodged) network/ethernet card problem?

I have an ethernet connection that suddenly cut yesterday; my laptop does not recognize that there is an ethernet cable connected to it. He did once before, but mysteriously dressed himself. No chance now. The network light does not appear when I plug the ethernet cable, but I checked (by plugging in another laptop) who works in the internet and the cable is fine. Which indicates that the problem lies with the network adapter.

I suspect the network card (or whatever the thing you plug the ethernet cable) is filed incorrectly, such that it does not recognize that the cable is plugged in, even if it isn't a very informed opinion. Nothing shows up on a scan or network hardware diagnostics, and I can always get wifi; the map itself seems to work, but for the connection. Disabled/re-enabled network card, so I'm suspecting it's a physical connection problem. In addition, both times where my ethernet connection has stopped working, it was immediately after I came home from uni, with my laptop having had the opportunity to wiggle around in my bag. All this comes after my laptop received a slight bump and some minor visible body damage (although all the NIC has worked perfectly fine).

Are there measures suggested to take to solve this problem, or ideas on what exactly is the problem?

There is no card. Connectors and circuits are part of the motherboard. You have a guarantee, although if there is physical damage in this area, it will probably not be covered without cover against accidental damage?
