Ethernet card problem

Hello

I have a problem. I don't see my network card settings. Ethernet cable works, I try another PC. But this pc does not see the card settings. That the ethernet card will be lost, I think. I just ask; Operating system problem or hardware problem, I don't know. How do I test it?

(Please, don't see my English grammar is not good, I know)

  • T430 - (eventually dislodged) network/ethernet card problem?

I have an ethernet connection that suddenly cut yesterday; my laptop does not recognize that there is an ethernet cable connected to it. He did once before, but mysteriously dressed himself. No chance now. The network light does not appear when I plug the ethernet cable, but I checked (by plugging in another laptop) who works in the internet and the cable is fine. Which indicates that the problem lies with the network adapter.

I suspect the network card (or whatever the thing you plug the ethernet cable) is filed incorrectly, such that it does not recognize that the cable is plugged in, even if it isn't a very informed opinion. Nothing shows up on a scan or network hardware diagnostics, and I can always get wifi; the map itself seems to work, but for the connection. Disabled/re-enabled network card, so I'm suspecting it's a physical connection problem. In addition, both times where my ethernet connection has stopped working, it was immediately after I came home from uni, with my laptop having had the opportunity to wiggle around in my bag. All this comes after my laptop received a slight bump and some minor visible body damage (although all the NIC has worked perfectly fine).

Are there measures suggested to take to solve this problem, or ideas on what exactly is the problem?

There is no card. Connectors and circuits are part of the motherboard. You have a guarantee, although if there is physical damage in this area, it will probably not be covered without cover against accidental damage?

  • Satellite A300-2 TB-Ethernet network card problem

    Hi all

I have a laptop Satellite A300-2 CT with Windows XP SP3 for a year. There is a problem in the network ethernet card, I think.

If I connect my computer to a wireless network, all right. However, if I connect the computer to a wired network via the ethernet card, problems begin.

A little later after the connection. 'something' is happening and my windows theme changes to "classic", plus none of the applications that uses the beginning of the soundcard NOT working. In addition, the system slows down a lot for all the one or two minutes. When I check running applications during the"slow", I see that deferred procedure calls takes a lot of time processor.

Problem does not end with this, after that I disconnect the ethernet connection and restart my computer, the application of the wireless (Atheros) adapter takes control of wireless connections, so I can not connect wireless networks I wanted. I have to restart the computer to resolve this problem.

I've updated the network ethernet card driver, nothing changes.

In conclusion, I think the network ethernet card has a problem and maybe it is in conflict with other hardware (such as the sound card).

Y at - it suggestions to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    Hi alp37,

I have never heard of this issue, and I think all you can do is update the LAN and the audio driver. The two you can download from the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

If it doesn t work I think I think it is a software problem I would recommend reinstalling Windows Toshiba recovery disc. Who can restore the factory settings, and then you can test it again.

  • Win98 problems - need drivers for ethernet card

I recently installed Win98 on one of my computers that was built to Win XP or higher, and it doesn't have the correct drivers for the Ethernet card on my computer so I can't connect to the internet on this subject. Can someone help me solve this problem?

    Hello Taylor Lindemann,

Although Windows 98 is no longer a supported operating system, you can download the drivers from the manufacturer.

My recommendation would be to reinstall an operating system on the computer.

I have a problem with the Ethernet card. After replacing the hard drive, the new system was installed as well as all the drivers. Everything was OK. I use a Wifi connection for most, but a few days ago, I use cable and nothing happened. There is no Ethernet card in Device Manager.

So I tried to check on the Toshiba support site, but it says that it cannot find my computer by serial No.. ! There's also my role model isn't available (Inroom U400-17V)!

  • Is there a speed limit on the ethernet cards?

Hey guys do you have an idea who is at - it a speed limit on the Ethernet cards, because I can use the P2P so fast that, after awhile, my internet connection is stopped as, I can't do anything unless I unplug, wait a while and connect again. Don't you think that it is a hardware or software problem?
By the way: my Ethernet card is Marvell Yukon 88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller.
I need your help. Thank you.

    Hello

In my opinion, if you have some problems with the internet connection the reason should not be any kind of speed limit but also other different reasons.

In your ad, you're not mentioned that you do exactly. You write e-mails or do the download of two different movies and many mp3 files?

As far as I know if you do the full download the connection can be slowed or even stopped by FAI. Is your cable may be defective. The LAN cable has 8 lines and if one line is faulty speed will fall automatically.

I also recommend you use a malware scanner and check the unit.

    Good bye

  • Ethernet card disappears after installing SP3 (T60 1951 - 45G)

    Hello!

I updated my Windows XP with Service Pack 3 yesterday and now it seems my ethernet card has disappeared. i.e., it acts to it has been disabled in the BIOS (not appearing is not in Manager devices etc..). I tried entering BIOS, hide, start, restart, enable in the BIOS and new shoe but no luck. In another thread, I've seen update people complain of broken MS and a clean install could solve the problem.

My question is if someone else had the same experience and if it is solvable without a clean install of a simplified SP3.

    My machine is a T60 1951 - 45G.

Everything else seems to work fine by the way, but I'll post if I find additional problems.

It is reported of SP3 break connectivity LAN/WAN on many laptops (TechNet) MSFN, MS forums. Not quite sure that the resolution is at this time and not quite certain that a new simplified installation of SP3 would be a fix for the problem. For some, SP3 disable WAN completely, while others issue with LAN. It seems that some drivers 'most recent' are the culprits.

Before doing something drastic, try reinstalling the Lenovo LAN drivers to see if that fix it, otherwise you may just have to go back to SP2 (nothing wrong with it on an existing machine, otherwise it works without problems). SP3, after all, is above all a cumulative (but with 'new') update, so really there is no big reason for updating a working and XP - SP2 system with this new service pack update.

On a side note, remember to check if installed KB941644 inadvertently as part of the update - it's a "fix" that is known to cause a number of problems of connectivity (insoluble).

You can see here (MS XP questions) to see if there is a solution to your problem.

    Hope this clears up things

  • HP Mini 110: Lack of Wifi/Ethernet card drivers

I am currently having the same problem as the OP of this thread:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-notebook-PC-questions/HP-mini-110-missing-network-adapter-driver-...

  • Restoration of the Ethernet card drivers

Hi all. There is a solution and apply. There seems to be a common problem with WPA Wireless does not not after installing SP3. I've been through it some time ago and learned that this problem can be resolved to move back to their previous version - released 7 Ethernet card driver.

My problem is after reconstruction my T40, I can't find anywhere to download an older version of the Intel PRO/100/1000 LAN card - all I can find is the most recent. Anyone know where to get hold of older versions?

    Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! This one might work, give it a shot: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-54046 after you download it, you must go to C > drivers > win > Ethernet and run the Setup file from there. Good luck and we keep abreast.

  • Need the correct driver for the ethernet card internal on a Pavilion DV9718ca.

I downloaded all the drivers for this particular laptop and install. The ethernet card is showing a code 10 in device running Vista Ultimate Manager. The pilot says that it is a Nvidia. I can't seem to find anything on this model especially regarding the ethernet card and drivers, even on Google. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else who has this problem, you must install the drivers for the nvidia bus enumerator, and then install the driver for the ethernet card. I found the drivers that will work at http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=2517

  • Networking of Ghost 15 SRD can't find Ethernet card

I don't know when this started to become a problem, but the support for networking in the Ghost 15 SRD (System Recovery disk) can locate is the ethernet card in my W520. The adapter works correctly under Win7_Pro64. DRS uses WinPE32 to the recovery environment if the driver for the card should be in the operating system. My backup images are stored on my NAS, so recovery now has copy me on a USB in order to apply an image. Any ideas on why it has stopped working?

    Thank you

I downloaded a new Ghost 15 SRD (15.01) and integrated 32-bit driver for the Intel 82579LM Gigabit (e1c6032 in the NDIS61 folder) network connection. The tool provided in Ghost 15 builds the custom SRD. You can also integrate USB 3.0 drivers as well so that all ports can be used, USB 2.0 ports.
