    Hello

Compaq Presario C720TU Notebook PC comes with Intel ICH8 chipset. System would be able to detect SM Bus controller drivers by installing the chipset of the motherboard drivers. You can find the chipset drivers on the site of the manufacturer in general.

  • No Edge 15 Broadcom 802.11ac none hosted network management and stability problems

I have a new edge 15 that came with Windows 10 64-bit pre-installed. I want to be able to run the soft AP WiFi so I can connect to my wifi adapter.

The WiFi card is a Broadcom 802.11ac and according to other computers using Dell with the same chip, but the Dell Windows 7 driver supports hosted network supports. But on my computer with the latest driver 7.35.267.0 dated 05/14/15, supported network hosted shows no., which means that the pilot and the chip does not support.

It seems that it's a driver problem and hardware supports hosted networks.

Also, sometimes when I turn on my computer, the WiFi does not detect the AP. It's the continuous offshore. I can get the connectivity by deactivation and reactivation of the interface. A pain. Not a big pain, but pain. Looks like the driver reload or turn on the radio after that sleep does not work properly.

Can Lenovo if you please provide a stable driver for the Broadcom chip work.

    Thank you.

I ended up completely reinstall windows 10 and uses the stock drivers.

No bloat ware lenovo. Works fine now.

  • Dell XPS Ultrabook 12 has network using WIFI connection problem after upgrade to Windows 10

I have a Dell laptop XPS Ultrabook 12 that worked fine on Windows 8.1. When Microsoft prompted me to sign up for upgrade to Windows 10, I hesitated, but finally, I signed up for it. In recent months, I have been asked several times upgraded to Windows 10 but I just ignored and delay the update as much as possible, because I need to work with the laptop and I can't afford to have problems after the upgrade.  To my horror, Microsoft forced an install of Windows 10 this morning without allowing me to delay and just after the upgrade, I can't connect to my existing network. I have therefore no access to the internet and I am currently typing this complaint using another PC. I noticed that the laptop can connect to the network automatically when I walk my router but the connection will last only a few minutes, and then he'd cut off. I tried to connect and the message I get is "unable to connect to this network. I checked with "ipconfig/all", wifi said media disconnected. I checked with the Dell support website and downloaded and installed a newer driver, but the problem persisted. Apparently the surf on the internet, this problem is faced with a number and any suggestions to fix do not work (after that I tried).

    Help, please.

I noticed that when I first start windows, my computer train behind for a few minutes and in this time if I open my browser and try to visit any websites, it will say "waiting for cache.
Just tonight, I also noticed that when I copied a file of 1 GB of HDD on my USB key, the file basically copy at 30 MB/s and goes directly to about 95% and then just slows down and ends up taking another 5 minutes to copy the 'good' speed. • Firefox and Chrome problems with computer Samsung Windows 8

I got a new laptop from Samsung series 3 a few days ago. I installed Firefox and it periodically only half loads certain web pages such as Yahoo and Facebook, out of all the photos and the tabs. This does not, unless I completely uninstall Firefox with all my information and reinstall it, and then it gives me a few hours and I have to repeat the process. So, since I hate IE 9 and 10, more even than their predecessors, I installed Google Chrome and have exactly the same thing happen. I read in the forums of Firefox and Chrome, it seems to be a problem with the Samsung computers, but none of the fixes there helped me. All I have this problem and it fixed or have a solution?

    Hello

the problem is Samsung built the program support center.  This is a specific problem of Samsung.  To fix just remove Samsung support center program by using Add/Remove Programs, and then the cache of Firefox clear and all would work fine.

  • Satellite Pro P100 - screen and sound problems after upgrade to Windows 7

    Hi all

I got my Satellite Pro P100 (model number is PSPAEE-00C006EN and the second digit of the serial number is '7') upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, and since then, some bugs seem to have had place - can someone help me on the following:

-L' screen DIMS increments, irrespective of the fact that I have saved my power settings to stay on FULL (battery or sector)

-No sound. Once or twice, the sound card worked and settings to say this works correctly (and you can see the movement of the graphic equalizer).
In terms of PC knowledge, I would be 5/10 (so not a dummy, but certainly not a pro! and we tried a lot of the more obvious things)

    Thank you all

    Hello

1.) if the screen dim option doesn't properly work, I recommend you to reinstall Toshiba Value added Package. This package controls these functions, the keys FN and others. Visit the Toshiba page for an update!

2.) did you check if the sound is muted if the equalizer work? In addition you can also try to update the audio driver might it work ;)

    Thanking you

    Omal Bose

Dear lasvegaswireman thank you very much for your answer. Last day I contacted the HP support team and I got the resolution, Compaq 15-s001TU comes with pre loaded back free. If you want to upgrade to windows 8, I believe that you will find no difficulty in finding the drivers for the HP product support page. But in the case of windows 7, you will not get the driver LAN, Wifi and Bluetooth page main media because HP made this model to be worked with windows 8. They provide generic drivers for above mentioned drivers missing. First of all let me dissect the details of manufactured goods of chipset for this model which is not mentioned in anywhere (not even in the catalogue).

    Blue tooth - Ralink Chipset

    WiFi-Ralink Wifi

    LAN-Realtek Chipset

    -Realtek card reader

  • problem after download of windows on mac

    Hello

I have macbookpro 13 inch with yoesmite of os x system.

    I installed windows7 professional & Office 2013 through bootcamp.

later I have a few problems that I couldn't have managed it me:

file 1 - mac bootcamp disappered. I can not connect a mac from windows.

2 - icons & programs faucets is so small... I tried to make the biggest, but only the icons not the tabs.

    3. it shows that the driver is full although it doesn't have many...

    Thank you

What happens when you restart the computer, and until the Apple logo appears and you hold down the button "C"? You are offered the opportunity to boot from your OS X disk?

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201255

For problem number two, check out the following:

Optimize the display of the scale and the problems of scaling on Windows 7

For problem number 3, how much space was allocated on boot camp drive?

I recommend not more than 100 GB if you plan to install Windows and programs such as office in addition to create data. It must also take into account files for updates of drivers such as music, videos, photos, Documents that can easily fill up the drive.

You will need to remove Boot Camp disk by booting to OS X, and recreate it.

Delete a Boot Camp partition . Macworld

Restart the OS X and proceed to recreate with the right settings.

  • Windows 7 network authentication problem

Having Windows 7 installed and have problems connecting to wireless internet. I see our wireless network, but whenever I click on it, I get a box titled "Network authentication" where it says "Please enter the credentials of the user" with a name and a password. My computer does not have a password. I don't have the credentials saved in the computer (I checked via the control panel). I tried all possible combinations of things and I can just go. If I 'x' out of it, behind it states that "additional connection information are necessary. I entered in the control panel and already ticked the box in the network and sharing Center to "disable password protected sharing. Has nothing. Any help to get rid of this annoying credential dialog would be MUCH appreciated!

    XbowSteve and Yelliez,

I had the same problem: I bought a new computer (laptop ASUS U43F), and when I tried to connect to my home wireless network, I got a window that says "Windows Security" and "network authentication: Please enter the user credentials" also including a block a username and password.  I have three other machines humming happily my wireless network on Windows 7 and some on Mac OSX Snow Leopard.

Problem was, I bought this computer today and do not enter a password system.  In addition, I was the one who put my wireless network and I did not need only an encryption key, user authentication.  In addition, there is no credential stored again, and I had only my admin account set up.

#1: don't listen to those who say that it is a router problem, it is not.  IT DOES NOT ASK THE ADMIN ROUTER USERNAME AND PASSWORD!

#2: don't take you in the long list of issues poorly answered in the nets of the 'credentials of the user.

#3: IT IS NOT A QUESTION OF SHARING PROTECTED BY WORD!  ACK!

    Instead, follow these steps:

    (1) go to Panel and then network and Internet, then network and sharing Center.

    (2) click on manage networks wireless in the upper left of the window.

    (3) If your computer is new, then simply click 'Add '. If not, then click on "add", go through the steps below and choose the new network as your active network.

    (4) select 'Manually create a network profile.'

    (5) the form in the next window, including your network SSID, encryption, encryption, etc..  Select Conect automatically.

    (6) save.  It should say "Network successfully added."

Presto!  Who should do it - I'm not so different.

  • Using the network authentication Windows 7 name of user and password to connect to a network (internet access)

When I try to CONNECT to my network, I get a window of security Windows network authentication requires a user name and password. I have no idea this here. Apparently until I find it I will not be able to connect wirelessly to the Internet

I assume you are using Windows 7 and trying to connect to the wireless network? There are many discussions here for precisely this question and answers not very unhelpful.  Have you tried to manually add the wireless network and select Connect automatically?   This seems to have solved my problems.

    1. open network and sharing Center (click on start - Control Panel - Network and sharing Center)

    2. click on manage networks wireless on the left side and opens a new window - manage wireless networks that use (wireless)

    3. click on add

    4. click on add a network profile

    5. Enter the name of the network - security Type and security key (this info should be provided by your internet service provider)

    6. check the box that says "Connect automatically when this network is in range" and click the next button

    7. click on the close button in the next window that opens (or you can take a look at the settings, if you like, and then click close)

  • Message - "network authentication - please enter your identification information. I don't know the user name or password.

I recently got my samsung laptop wiped to speed it up and it has updated since windows xl to windows 7. However when I now click on my wifi tab windows security pop with the "network authentication - please enter your credentials" and ask for my username and password. I don't have any idea of either that I've never had a password that I know... can anyone help, really need my laptop with College work editing! Thank you

  • Network authentication was need for username and password HELP

Whenever I try to connect to my internet or any internet, it says

    "Windows security".
    Network authentication
    Please enter the user credentials.
And has an area of user name and password. I tried so many things to get this working or go away. I tried to manually put in the network, but it's a WAP browser not a WEP so for some reason it is not just work. I tried to pass through the shortcut key area, but the file was already missing or something wasn't there. Nothing adds up, and I'm about to throw my pc gaming by the window. It wasn't like this before. Every since I did everything new, that's how. Please help me.

If there is something called "authentication" is present everywhere, that there is a requirement for user name and password. But here, the single password is required as it happens to be WiFi. You must enter the password to use the WiFi network. Protection, WPA, is more secure than WEP, and this isn't the reason for the question.

Have you tried with open networks (WiFi networks without protection)? If it works fine with open networks, then there is no problem with your laptop. All you have to do, in this case, is to enter the password.
  • Network - LAN stucks on the identification problem

I have a problem connecting to a LAN for Windows 7. He repeats to me that the LAN is identification. I have two operating systems of this computer. XP operating system works very well, so I guess that the network adapter is ok. Before Windows 7, used to work I deleted my users and created new users. The IP address is 169.*. *. * and the default gateway is blank. I have another computer hooks up to this router and it works fine. I tried to solve the last two days without success. Help, please.

OK, if you're connected via cable (no WIFI), then you can try to run Windows 7 in "safe mode with network":

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    part:

    Safe mode with networking

and test if it works or not.

Can write you here if your network card is integrated in the motherboard or it is autonomous in the PCI bus card.

Can you write here the manufacturer and model name of your NIC (stand-alone) or the manufacturer and the model name of your motherboard (integrated in the motherboard)?

Some information about your network card, you can find in the 'Device Manager':
