No Edge 15 Broadcom 802.11ac none hosted network management and stability problems

I have a new edge 15 that came with Windows 10 64-bit pre-installed. I want to be able to run the soft AP WiFi so I can connect to my wifi adapter.

The WiFi card is a Broadcom 802.11ac and according to other computers using Dell with the same chip, but the Dell Windows 7 driver supports hosted network supports. But on my computer with the latest driver 7.35.267.0 dated 05/14/15, supported network hosted shows no., which means that the pilot and the chip does not support.

It seems that it's a driver problem and hardware supports hosted networks.

Also, sometimes when I turn on my computer, the WiFi does not detect the AP. It's the continuous offshore. I can get the connectivity by deactivation and reactivation of the interface. A pain. Not a big pain, but pain. Looks like the driver reload or turn on the radio after that sleep does not work properly.

Can Lenovo if you please provide a stable driver for the Broadcom chip work.

Thank you.

I ended up completely reinstall windows 10 and uses the stock drivers.

No bloat ware lenovo. Works fine now.

Hi, I called Dell and had them replace the internal card ac in my system - questions of micro studder have since disappeared. Note that I have extended overnight guaranteed in the House supports so it was a miracle... If I had to send your device I would be pretty ticked... Good luck. I proved that it was the internal card (even when talking to dell technicians) based on the fax that my external USB wireless card has worked flawlessly in the same games, while the ac adapter has been disabled.

  • Drs host group management and the vm

Hey guys I was reading the website Arnims how to create drs with the command groups can be new-drsgroup which looked really nice that you can do.

But in powercli 5 allowing the command is no longer there.

If anyone knows what happened with her or the replacement. Because im a large deployment and we must automate host placed in the correct when host groups that they placed in the correct cluster.

The link to the Arnims post is http://www.van-lieshout.com/2011/06/drs-rules/

    Best regards, Boris

New-DrsVmGroup is a function that is planned Arnim hist post in Listing 1.

An ay to present them to your scripts is to save the code of Arnim in a .ps1, then point source this .ps1 file

    . ./New-DrsVmGroup.ps

Note the space between the 2 points.

You will now be able to call a cmdlet New-DrsVmGroup.

Similar to the new DrsHostGroup (list 2) and new-DRSVMToHostRule (listing 3).

You can also put all 3 functions in 1 .ps1 file and point source this file.

Update: I can find no mention of a New-DrsGroup cmdlet in Arnim station

My PC is a HP Pavilion 17 laptop.

    G6R35UAR #ABA product name

    Thank you.

There is no white list. Here is the Service Manual:

    See p. 96

    Manual

You have the 17 inch model and for the 15-inch model AMD HP actually an AC card. This one:

2x2HMC AC + BT4 Broadcom BCM 4352 WLAN 802.11 for HP Pavilion 15 AMD computer models available for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 724935-005

It is an equivalent spare card sold on amazon.com:

    http://www.Amazon.com/Azurewave-Broadcom-BCM94352HMB-802-11-867Mbps/DP/B00IFYEYXC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&QID=1453758370&SR=8-4&keywords=Broadcom+802.11AC

The card would work for you, but I have to warn you that the installation is no easy thing. It requires extensive disassembly and will jeopardize the warranty. You should not try to install an Intel card as they are called does not play nice with AMD computers. The Broadcom will be your best bet.

  • My old Airport Extreme 802.11n will work well with my new Time Capsule 802.11ac airport?

I got a new 802.11ac 3 TB time capsule and I would use my Airport Extreme 802.11n as an Extender but I fear that 802.11n is too old technology.

No, it will be fine. I have the same setup on my network. Whenever I update my AirPort Extreme, I use the 'old' to expand the network throughout the House.

I hope that answers your question.

  • Extending Airport Extreme 802.11ac with older Airport Extreme 802.11n

I need to extend the coverage of my wifi and I have an a 802.11ac AE and two former, 802.11n AE units and all are still functional.  Specifically, can the newest Airport Extreme 802.11ac extended by an older Airport Extreme 802.11n if it is connected by ethernet cable?  If it can be done, what setting (bridge mode or extend the network mode) should be used on the 802.11ac model?  Any other need to know the tips would be greatly appreciated as well.  Thank you...

can the newest Airport Extreme 802.11ac be extended by an older Airport Extreme 802.11n if it is connected by ethernet cable?

Yes, it's can... goal that the wireless "ac" will not be extended, of course. Here, I assume you think 802.11ac airport your 'main' airport and airport 802.11n as the airport of their extension.

which parameter (bridge mode or extend the network mode) should be used on the 802.11ac model?

You would not change the settings on the 802.11ac airport

Reset an 802.11n AirPort Extreme back to factory default settings

Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the three ports on the airport of 802.11ac for WAN "O" from the airport on the AirPort Extreme 802.11n which extend the LAN network<-->

Configuration to use Apple "Assistant" to put in place the AirPort Extreme 802.11n and it will feature the correct Assembly for you.  Everything you really need to do is assign a name that you want to call the airport and "Wizard" will take care of everything else.

  • 8770w LY560EA: WLAN upgrade 8770w LY560EA to 802.11ac, possible?

    Hello

It is somehow possible to upgrade my 8770w to 802.11ac LY560EA WIFI network?

I read that it should not be a problem with the white list, because it's an IvyBridge, correct?
    But what card WLAN-would work?

Thank you very much in advance and best regards,

    Marc

You can improve your workstation to a network card Intel using ac 802.11.

Who would work is theIntel Networkcontroller AC3160.

The downside to this card is that you lose the feature WI - DI. Not streaming on a HD Smart TV. Personally, I would not lose this functionality. 802.11ac is not as wonderful as you think it is. It has its limits. 802.11ac, does not as easily as 802.11 g and 802.11n drill through walls.

Since your workstation is a 2012 model, there is no present whitelist in the BIOS to prevent upgrades.

A candidate wifi adapter that will be compatible with your workstation must have a mini PCIe interface.

There is no wifi m2 adapters that are compatible with your workstation, since there is no slot m2 on motherboard of your workstation.

  • Cloud of VCD-NOR doenst work on hosts Network Isolation

    Hello world

I hope that someone already using pool of network supported by isolated network can help me here.

I have opened a recent case with VMware and was a little shocked to what I was told because it worked well on hosts for me with 1.0 and 1.5 of the vCloud Director beta

    That is the problem.

I have an external network of VLAN 207

I created a networkpool for an organization using VCD - OR where 2 is the number of isolated network and VLAN Id from 1

When I create the network of the Organization internal or routed VM cannot communicate if they are on different hosts in the cluster

is it turns out that the virtual machines or the "Router" edge device is on the same hosts, then I have no problem with ping the other virtual machines or the unit of routing to reach the external network.

VMware now tells me that I need to create a VLAN ID 1, which is really optional according to all the docs out there.  and I had it before.

    your help is highly appreciated

    Thank you

    Maher

If you create a network VCDNI pool and use a VLAN ID for the pool, then the VLAN must exist in your switch. If you don't want to use a VLAN ID, then create a new pool of VCDNI and do not enter the VLAN ID field.

    Hello

Well, I could see Intel Dual band Wireless - AC 3160 802.11ac 1 x 1 WiFi + BT combo adapter listed in the manual of your product:

    HP part number: 710662-005
(NOTE: due to the announcement of HP White wireless module, you can only buy compatible listed specific section in your manual & there is no 100% guarantee that it will work at all)

Look for it in the HP part surfer according to your region:

  • Upgrade to 802.11ac?

Anyone know when a 802.11ac card will be available for the Sony Vaio Pros?  It is clear that the current wifi adapter problems common with little support from Sony, so before purchase would thus expect 802.11ac will credited to these ultrabooks.

    All thoughts/dates?

    Thank you

    WiFi-AC

Well, Intel 7260 N and 7260 AC use the same drivers. 7260 N is also fundamentally 7260 AC with a mod firmware which disables the functionality of the CA. Basically, the equipment and the architecture is the same. If you do not upgrade to AC, you will see AC speeds to strong RSSI (-53 dbm or higher). Just speed falls sharply once you get below-65 dbm. I'm not saying it's 100% reliable since I don't know anyone who has swapped the AC 7260 the 7260 N. According to the hardware architecture and the use of the same drivers, HQ 7260 will have the same range as 7260 N it's just speeds for AC is much faster at close range. The VAIO Pro antennas are also very close to the motherboard and which severely limits the range of the laptop.

In regards to my Pro, I don't like the Intel cards as much as I did a couple of years due to questions of this driver. I also have an another laptop (Lenovo) I the same WiFi N 7260. The problem with this laptop is not the beach. I get ~ 35 Mbit/s-68 dbm with the same card, but I get ping spikes that irritates me when I'm streaming online radio since he pads from time to time. The Vaio Pro also gets this ping spikes while the card Broadcom in the Macbook Pro and air are compatible<1 ms="" ping="" to="">

    Here's a ping test I just did on my Pro Vaio with n ° 7260 (rssi = - 25 dbm, 3 feet of router)

  • Airport Extreme 802.11ac - I have a defective router again?

    Dear Apple friends,

I reduced a problem with my Airport Extreme 802.11ac wireless router which I hope someone can shed some light on.

    Things I've tried:

    • Hard reset
    • Factory full reset w. of new settings.
    • Two different Apple ID (account iCloud)
    • Connection via the devices iOS (iPhone and iPad, both on v9.3.4)
    • 7.7.3 downgrade (problem).
    • New upgrade to 7.7.7 (problem).

    That is the problem.

If I put a ID for 'Back to my Mac' Apple Airport utility > basic Station... updated and restart the router...

.. .the router will not appear in Airport utility again unless I connect to it directly via IP.

A Wi - Fi connection works fine but I cannot access the airport, or whatever it be connected until I have remove the back to my Mac (Apple ID) of Airport utility references.

This router is a replacement from the Apple Store for a faulty Airport Extreme 802.11ac, who died after a few months.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. I think again that router to Apple, but before you make the trek down there, I would be a little sure that this isn't just a bug or a problem on the end of Apple.

    Thank you, in advance.

No, you don't do anything wrong. This problem has been reported several times recently and the only 'solution' at this stage is to disable Back to My Mac on your AirPort base station, until Apple has a chance to solve this problem.

  • When is Airport Express available in 802.11ac?

I think of buying an Airport Express Terminal as an Extender for my network with an Airport Extreme base station.  No one knows when or if the Express will be available in 802.11ac format?  In addition, the benefits or drawbacks to the use of the Airport Express as an Extender?

No one knows when or if the Express will be available in 802.11ac format?

A forum to support users... we're all users... just like you.  Unfortunately, no one here will have any idea what a company notoriously secret like Apple could do, or when they could do.

The only people who know anything about are at Apple, and they do not say.

To the extent where using the Express as an Extender linking to the main router of the airport by using a wireless connection...

    Upside... more signals range

Downside... loss of about half of the potential speed on the network
