Oracle 11g R1 comes with SQL Developer 1.1. You must use the latest version which is 1.5.5.

To use the version you downloaded separately, you also need a JDK, then download a recent (1.6_)? Sun JDK and install it. When you run sqldevelor the point to the JDK you have installed.

You can also find this directory ~/.sqldeveloper is put to date by the two versions then delete it before you start to work with the latest version.

For sqldeveloper to connect to orcl on localhost, you need a listener (which is where we are).

1. start the listener.
Log in as user oracle and run lsnrctl status, then lsnrctl start if the listener is not running.
Type 'lisnrctl status' again and note the line

Connection to (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=xxxxxx) (PORT = 1521)))

2 save your database with the listener.
In your first post the listener showed "supports any service."
Connect to the database using "sqlplus / as sysdba.
type 'show local_listener parameter.
If this is empty, type
ALTER system set local_listener ='(DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST=xxxxxx) (PORT = 1521)))' scope = both;
modify the registry database;

At the command line type lsnrctl status OS to see if your database service is presented.

  • BIOS error 104: network card not supported after the update of the bios, HP G60

Recently, my hard drive has begun to fail. I bought a new drive, installed a Windows 7 ISO on a flash drive, installed etc. I have a HP G60-237NR. I have reinstall everything, and then I went to the page of the drivers for my laptop. I started to install stuff, at that time there I was bored so I'd sort of from the bottom to the top if this order of the questions, I can give more details on that if I need to. I downloaded the BIOS update, because I thought that "good, he he listed for my computer, I have no doubt it needs to be updated since my laptop like 6 years. Flashed the BIOS, my computer shut down and restart didn't like I thought he was supposed to. I turned on and well 'device 104 - unsupported of detected wireless network. System stopped. Remove device and restart. "I tried to find out what to do, which told me to remove the network adapter, the bios downgrade, plug it back and you're good. Well, I unplugged my network card and the snap-snap-in two sons who attaches and restarted, he did all the stuff. I got the same error. EDIT: I meant I plugged my network back in, but still got the error. Where I had the clichés about evil, I passed the clichés and double checked the connections maps, but still nothing. Everything I found said that should have worked, I'm on the same version of the BIOS, I started with that, but it does not recognize my network card. What am I doing here? Please help, thanks.

    Hello

When you have the outside wireless card, you have the error?

If this isn't the case, then you can get necessary to replace the wireless adapter. I would not be able to explain how, but something may have cause to fail.

You can find maps of replacement of support on page 16 Chapter 4 of the Guide Service and Maintenance for your laptop.

    I hope this helps.

  • 10 windows and error network adapter need to install my network card

A week or two after the installation of Windows 10, my PC started to operate erratically while giving me several different error messages. Finally, I realized there was a problem with the network card. After I re-installed each time my frustration forced me to go back to Windows 7, which has worked very well since. But I still have a message on my machine that I need to install my network card. (When I try, I always get the message that "the solution can be downloaded at this time.") I would go to Windows 10 but do not want to encounter the same problem. Someone has an answer to what is the problem?

  • Error code 39 on network card

I just had to perform a custom installation of Windows 7. Before the restoration had a network card using a USB port to connect to my local network.

After installing Windows 7 get an error code 39 on the adapter.

Troubleshooter does not solve the problem.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and get a message saying that it is up-to-date.

I have checked the registry and do not see 'Lower or upper filters' under the appliance.

Am at a total loss as to how to solve the problem.

    Any help gratefully received.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. Unfortunately, as the problem is with the network card driver were not able to access the internet through this computer.

However I solved the problem by restoring the system to just after the installation of Windows, by removing the material and the old drivers. Reboot and then install a new driver from the manufacturer of the chipset instead of the drivers on the website of the manufacturer of the device.

Thanks for the good suggestions - much appreciated

  • Reinstall the network card, but there is an error code (31)?

Hi all! This is my first time asking in this forum so please guide me if I make mistakes.

I use a Dell Inspiron laptop n5110, and recently I had problems with my wireless internet connection. Most of the time at halfway then I am browsing or buffering videos, my internet would simply cut all of a sudden and it goes to show that its connected, but there is not internet access/no access to the network. Sometimes, it just goes to a network not identified without internet access.

To resolve this problem, I accessed my disabled device manager then activated my network card and the internet reconnected instantly. However, it was not a permanent solution and the same problem has occurred over and over again, sometimes in succession. I called the guy in charge of my internet and I doubt it's a problem on their side, so I thought it would probably be a problem with my network card.

I uninstalled my network card and reinstalled, but now I can not connect to internet at all. Nothing shows up on my list of connections available now. The only reason why I am able to ask this question is because I'm using my iphone usb hotspot.

I checked my network card and it shows "this device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) ». I hope someone can help me with this. Sorry for the long post as well, I just thought that some of you will want to know what happened before.

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

I really appreciate your efforts to solve the problem and provide us with the required information that will help us troubleshoot and fix your problem.

As the error code says, the question arises if the device driver is corrupted and Windows cannot update the drivers for the network card. I suggest you refer to the solution recommended for Code 31 has been provided in the following Knowledge Base article:

In addition, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

According to the error code, I suggest you run the troubleshooter devices & hardware and check if it helps.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 2:

Uninstall and reinstall the network driver from the Dell support site.

    Step 1:

    (a) press the Windows key + R.

    (b) type devmgmt.msc in the run window.

    (c) expand the network adapters in the Device Manager list.

    (d) right click on the concerned device driver and click Uninstall.

After you have uninstalled the driver, proceed to the next step.

    Step 2:

Download and install the latest driver from the following link network.

    Drivers Dell Inspiron 15R (N5110, Early 2011)

Note: Select the Windows 7 as the network and operating system under article of the category.

  • Call "HostNetworkSystem.UpdateVirtualSwitch" for the error of the object when you attempt to add the second NETWORK card

Hi there - first post here, so please be nice :-).

We are just trying to place an ESX4.1 own deployment in our environment (no previous installation of VMWare) to our main office, using Dell M610 and blades blades M600 to what would become our DR - two sites site hosting VMS on Equallogic iSCSI SAN disks.

I configured 4 of our blade M610 with ESX 4.1 successfully and they work very well.  These blades have double NIC onboard, and after the initial installation of ESX, I could go to the virtual switch and add in the second NIC like vmnic1 (because one had already been detected during installation).  This fine workd for 4 guests on the M610 blades.  However, I came today to make my first installation on one of the old M600 blades and I encountered a problem.

Installation went without any problems and I was able to add the host in my vCenter.  I can change all the settings without problem (created the Port of VMKernal for my connection to SAN iSCSI etc, but as soon as I try to add in the second NETWORK card, he paused for a while, and then I get the following error message:)

Call 'HostNetworkSystem.UpdateVirtualSwitch' of object 'networkSystem-56 "on vCenter Server"VCEN01." ournetwork.local"failed. (network name has been changed for post).  When this happens, it locks up again for several seconds, and when the system returns, I can no longer communicate with the ESX host (Observer of events in vCenter watch 'host is not responding' and I find that I can not ping the host unless I reboot it.)

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it that I don't want to proceed down to the line with our Installer if theres an underlying issue and I need to redo everything.

    Concerning

    EFIN.

Do you get the same error when you try to add the network adapter by using the command line?
