  It seems that I managed to solve the problem on my own. Did two things:

  1 set the registry keys determine programs associated objects 'Répertoire', 'Drive' and 'File' to the default values by using the settings found here: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm

  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\
  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\

  2. If you want to have permissions for group 'Users' to read all these keys in the registry. For some reason any access worked only partly for standard users.

  Not sure who finally solved this problem, but after I had finished 1. and 2. for the purpose of 'Record', by clicking on 'My computer' and any folder works normally for all users of the computer.

  I suspect that some recent installation of program which adds actions associated with these objects messed up the registry. Suspects are Norton Antivirus and dbPowerAmp.

  Try to run this program in your usual account, then copy and paste the result in a response. • Time capsule 'unexpected error' despite the reset and the IPv6 local link configuration

  I try to use a time capsule that I have not used for a long time to backup my mac.

  I have adware on chrome and safari that I cannot get rid of (trovi) despite several attempts (extensions, resets etc.)

  I decided to upgrade to el capitan, so that I could use software removal that does not work on Lion, but now I can't save because time capsule gives me "error unexpecetd".

  I have reset the TC and I configured link-local IPv6, but am still having the same problem.

  It is possible that software that you download to help get rid of the adware etc... blocking the work TM... affects a lot of bad a antivirus software on Mac OS. McAfee is one of the worst.

  What operating system are you currently using?

  There is no need to upgrade... but it is necessary to clean install.

  Download and use Carbon Copy Cloner. You can use it for free for a month... I highly recommend you do the backup on a USB key connected to the Mac, so it can be made bootable... and then can be tested immediately.

  You can use the TC and the backup to that... but you can't boot from network drives.

  I can recommend you to do a clean install... just wipe the mac and start again... It's extremely better than any software removal tools.

• Satellite P850 / 02C "Shut down" causes the reset and commissioning in an abnormal state

  My laptop P850/02c meets Shut down by resetting and return upward in an abnormal state.
  Abnormal state is that wifi is connecting is no longer an error message comes up - which I assume never happens to Microsoft.

  The machine is running 64-bit Windows 8 with the latest Windows updates and is two weeks with this problem that may occur on the first day.

  This procedure completely stops the laptop

  The point is that Win 8 past in hybrid mode, choose the option stop in the charm bar

• Google ping goes from 25ms to 900ms shortly after the reset and stays there

  Hey everybody,

  My internet is REALLY slow for a few weeks.  I've isolated the problem to my LinkSys E3000.  My bandwidth is fine, but response times are unhappy.

  When I reset and ping Google, I'll take 20-30ms for maybe 30-60 seconds and then he leap to 700-900ms response time.  If I have the wiring in my modem, I get 20-30ms response time.

  I am running the latest firmware: 1.0.06

  I tried:

  -Reset to factory settings

  -Wireless-N to use only on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz individually (the other cutting)

  -To select various different channels, click on auto for both

  -using the WPA/WPA2 mixed as well as strictly personal WPA2

  I am at a loss...

  I thought about it.  This is my backup of cloud BackBlaze.

  BackBlaze says I have backup to 0.7 MB/s and the problem goes away when I strangle the equal or less than 0.5 Mbps upload.

  Weird.  I would not have guessed my E3000 to struggle with a rattling wireless because of this.  My download bandwidth never had no ill effect - just answer reallly slow loading time of pages and what not.

  Sorry for my slight hostilety. IM pretty frustrated and annoyed with this thing in front of me that I don't know while the rest of the world looks at me like a mannequin, lol, a former model. So now you know! Im a bit long in the tooth AND I'm green when it comes to computers. Bet that is eliminated to help ready now. ? What makes that so hard im doing a social services degree, which requires a lot of hours spent in using these things, if theres no way on. And just to put a rat in the mixture I windows download ten on my laptop for every moment of my stolen time get some work done here... IV spent almost all my time of study, in the past two months here so far, nothing doing, but trying to get rid of windows 10 download and replace my seven windows over and over again. In addition it costs me portable data that I can't afford, his cause fail me my missions almost and iv had enough. Please someone help me. Ive tried so many different things, but nothing is working, Im desperate im going to put my number of ph here. Please txt me some tips... ID be very grateful.

  The difference between updating and resetting of Windows 8 is quite simple.

• URL / IP address do I need to allow for a small network to accept download of the desktop application.

• My windows account will open when the bad (or no) password. I tried the reset and change passwords.

  I have Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2. I deleted the password and then created a new. It asks for the password, however, still little matter what is typed, unlocks the account.

  Any thoughts?

  I suggest to select the option for not at end of password in the settings of expiration of password of local security or by the local users and group strategy and check if it helps.
   
  a.Open the local security policy editor.
   
  b.Open the start menu and type secpol.msc in the online search and press ENTER.
  If prompted by UAC, click on continue.
   
  c.You can now define and manage the local security policies on your computer to the way you want.
   
  d.In the left pane, under security settings, click the small arrow next to account policies to fall down and view the folder
  Options.
   
  e.Click on the strategy of password file.
   
  f.In the right pane, right-click on Maximum of the password, and then click Properties.
   
  g.To stop the password expiration:
  Type 0, and then click OK.

  You can also change the settings via the local users and group password expiration:
  Open User Manager and local groups.
   
  a. open the control panel (Classic view) and click the Administrative Tools icon.
   
  b. close the Control Panel window.
   
  (c) in administrative tools, click computer management.

• When I send a message it gets stuck in the Outbox and won't unless I click on the message until it is "BOLD" with a print, then delete.

  Forwarded messages or new messages are not automatically leave and get stuck in the Outbox.  If I leave it alone, I get a message that there was an error and the message could not be sent.  However, if I leave the message stuck in the Outbox, the message gets actually released several times until I have go into the Outbox and delete the message.

  Compacting files try one at a time.

  To defragment:

  Start | All programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Defragmenter. Just above that you'll also see disk cleanup. I was running first and also in the other Options tab, the third option to get rid of old that take place of restore points.
