• Guest WiFi network much slower than normal on the network

  Speedtests leave a device attached to the 5 GHz wireless guest network are much slower than when the same device is connected to the normal 5 GHz WiFi.

• Pavilion a6500: unable to detect wireless networks

  My Pavilion PC was working fine and suddenly, so there is no wireless network found more than even though all my other wireless devices work fine.

  Other evidence includes:

  -Restaurant on the previous system restore points does not help

  -system time jumped forward by exactly 2 hours

  -driver is marked OK for the adapter 802. 11 b/g Wireless USB.  I've also disabled and re-enabled the pilot

  -driver is marked NOT OK for MS ISATAP Adapter - says failed to load the driver. I've also disabled and re-enabled the pilot

  -driver is marked NOT OK for MS ISATAP Adapter #2-dit it can not load the driver. I've also disabled and re-enabled the pilot.

  -J' tried to load a driver costs sp37515 for the network driver and I got the error message indicating that my system does not meet minimum requirements - although I transferred the SP37515 on the desktop, I'm logged on as administrator and I have a WIn Vista 64 bit OS

  There is no hard ethernet cable hooked to the Pavilion, although I can use my laptop to receive software downloads if necessary and transfer through disk for Pavilion.

  Help please. The next steps?

• How to connect a USB-wireless printer to a wireless network without PC

  Some HP printers do not have a Wizard of wireless configuration integrated into the façade to connect to a network.  These models install to a computer via a USB connection and the software then sends information wireless via the USB cable to the printer.  However, you do not always have a present computer and still need to connect these printers to a wireless network.  You can use a wireless, like an iPad device, to do this.  For the example below, I used an iPad and a printer Deskjet 3510.

  The first step is to make sure that your printer is aired at an (Ad Hoc) network.  To do this, turn on the printer and press the wireless or wireless Tower, and then in the Setup menu. Connect the iPad (or other wireless device) to the signal being broadcast by the printer wireless.

  Once the iPad is connected to the printer as long as a network connection, open the Web browser on the iPad.  Type 192.168.223.1 in the address bar and go to this site.  Printer status page should load and look like the picture below.

  

  Click the network at the top of the status page.  You can get a quick warning while being redirected to an HTTPS site.  Click Ok in the message box to continue.  When you click OK, you can get a warning about the identity of the server or the certificate.  Select the option that allows you to continue.  The wording can vary from a browser, but there should be an option to continue anyway.

  Network status page should now be loaded at this point.  Select Assistant wireless to start the installation of the wireless network and click Next.

  

  When then is selected, it must list the available wireless networks.  Select your network from the list and click Next.  When the network is selected, it should be noted.

  Enter the network password if necessary and click Next.

  

  A message should be received indicating the name and if security is enabled.  The message below which must indicate that the settings have been saved successfully.  If it indicates that the settings were saved successfully with an error, the configuration of the network is more than likely operation.  Click Ok at the bottom.

  

  After selecting OK, select status to check that the printer is connected successfully.  It may take a few minutes for light wireless to the printer to stop flashing.  Once it is a solid blue, the printer must be on the network and operation.

  

  Once this is over, then you will be able to reconnect to your wireless (wireless router) normal signal for internet access.  Now, the iPad and the printer are on the same home network.

  Although my readycache works great and theres no problem, the network takes longer than usual to connect, so much and so well I start now 'steam' client manually

  is there a way to get the network connected before caching software... or is this a known problem...

  I'm not an expert, ReadyCache, but:

  In general, you want to implement caching as soon as possible in the boot cache process all possible startup hard disk reads.

  So, it could help Sandisk work on this, namely:

  your version of Windows

  configuration of your disk (I assume that you are starting and all loading from a Windows partition active)

  any other network management software, such as management software router, which

  your security software

  all that when you start, look at / works with your network connection.

  I have a funny feeling that it is something that would be more easily fixed at the end of steam.  Your steam load after start up is probably the best solution.

• E1000 - two routers come... 1 network leaves...

I want them to leave with a nice, clean for the first router 192.168.1.1 and ask the second associated as 192.168.1.2 (using MAC address... reservations IF possible). I guess that the installer on the second router will have to be done manually and the DHCP should 'probably' be disabled so the first router can assign all IP # s. problem is, I'm not on my period on the manual configuration of the second router. I have tried setting up and had this message on the IP address of the router in router subnet 1 s 2. The last time I did any 'real' network has more than ten years and I'm rusty on all this. Basically I have not sat down and read the books involving all this because that, even if I am amazing on learning by example, I have a bit of a learning issue with books... she sucks and I am one of those who simply cannot get certain techno-jargon to stay in my brain, unless someone it simplifies a bit. Can someone point me in the right direction to sorta? PS - until I get all these answers to 'use the search engine', I already did. But a search engine can be one of two things, useful or useless depending on the person knowing the right words to use (and I obviously didn't). Again, it is a problem for me in some cases. If someone knows the answer, I'll be very grateful and I'll be more than happy to say 'thank you '. If you don't know the answer, just be an adult and leave that would be.

  I have a WRT54GS which we got the network for more than a year. (Encryption WPA setting). This Christmas we have children one of these mini-notebooks, but when we went to put it on our wireless network could not acquire the IP address.   Follow the steps below to remove Windows 7 network profiles:

  1. open network and sharing Center by clicking on Start, type network and sharing Center and press enter

  2. underneath where it says view your active networks, click on the image (Globe, building, Bench, House... ect)

  3. move the window to set the properties of the network from the road, but leave it open. (You'll need it in a minute, but at a time where it is otherwise inaccessible.)

  4 back on the page network and sharing Center , click change adapter settings (in the left pane).

  5. in the network connections window, select the network adapter through which you get your Internet connection.

  6. click the button disable this network device above. Wait a few seconds for the connection to reflect the change in turning gray.

  7. return to the set network location window than the step #2 and click on the Merge or delete network locations link at the bottom.

  8. turn highlight the entries you want to delete, and then click Remove. (If there is more than one, you can remove all)

  9. When you are finished, close the window of merge or delete network locations and then close the window to set the properties of the network .

  10 return to the network connections window and with the adapter disabled network always set #5 step highlighted, click on the button activate this network device

  11. after 10-15 second delay, your Internet connection should work again now.

  Yes, there is a recommended approach to do this for the current version of BES.  A HTTP proxy is used to connect to both corporate and external networks internal when in the scope of work.  To connect to a particular host and port, you HTTP CONNECT request to the proxy, and then once the connection is established, you have a connection with the remote server socket.  I wrote a sample application that covers the QTcpSocket / QSslSocket, BSD sockets, OpenSSL taken and connections of curvature (the species is supposed to be transparent, but there has been problems reported with some built OS).

  I'll clean up this sample application and submit for review before it is posted on GitHub.  If your need is urgent, I could share a few code snippets to help you to implement the solution for your specific use case.

  Networking VPIM can be used for networking between Unity and Unity Express, just as it can be used for networking with a third-party system, however, each have their own implementation. Unity Express does not connect to the Exchange. I suggest you re-read the chapter ' using VPIM for Networking with Cisco Unity Express or other Cisco Unity Systems "to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_feature_guide_chapter09186a0080449a39.html and Cisco Unity Express Networking guide at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/voicesw/ps5520/prod_configuration_basics09186a008035bbdb.html.
