During the charge

My computer died earlier today, so I put it on the charger. When I left my house, I forgot to unplug my laptop (macbook air). He has been in charge for about 5 hours. How will this affect my battery life? Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance for any advice given.

It is perfectly fine to leave it attached to an electrical outlet. It will not overload.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Curve 9320 phone charger exploded during the charge.

I put my BlackBerry Curve 9320 on charges this morning that the battery is running low. Plugged into a wall jack, and after 1 hour, the charger went pop! Fortunately, I was sitting next to and off the charger to the power outlet before unplugging. Used cable comes with the phone and is plugged into my laptop (I know very risky) and hey presto on the phone was OK, so was the USB cable so that the fault was the charger plug! Jack was OK as my other half is an electrician and he said that the outlet was OK also. I am waiting for a new charger be delivered by Royal mail while I'm typing this. A lot of people who have this phone have the same problem? I was just lucky that I was able to disconnect immediately without any damage to the phone thanks to God.

Yes, the tat is thought too. Generally use a surge protected socket but used a regular wall outlet this day there without thought. My husband is an electrician and was told that the used was ok, the USB cable was ok, but the damage has been done to the charger and saved the phone thank God! My other half, with my permission opened the charger and one of the items was burned and stank! Have since been replaced charger and had a free USB cable included in the package that I'll keep it as a spare.

No it's not bad to do.  It will not cause damage to the unit.  You will notice that the device heats up due to the load and using at the same time, but what is expected for any phone.

  • During the Iphone 6 s Charge

So I just changed from a device to a 6 s Iphone android. I like it so far.
In any case. I noticed that the load meter has major lag... As... If I charge my phone before going to work and say his 97%, it will stay at 97% for half of the day at work. I do not use my phone, but at the end of each day of its down to about 70%. So, after 3 hours, it starts a fall...

Anyway my question is can I accidentally cool this thing? Say if I leave on the cause of the charger its 97% of all the night (normally a reboot will display the true battery percentage) will be the battery meter saying its 97 percent keep the phone charging, even if his full load, thusly hurt the battery?

You cannot overload an iPhone.  You could leave it on the charger for days, and which would be nice.

The battery meter seems to behave something like a fuel gauge typical automobile.  Still almost full during some time, and then begins to fall, dropping faster that battery runs out more.

  • Why my iphone 6 s died (charge, turn on or not display the apple logo or no. battery icon after that scheduling the ios updated during the night)

Can someone please tell me why my iphone 6s has just completely off after/while (im not sure that I was asleep) iOS update? everything was going well with the phone except for a crack in the screen, so I am really confused as to why he died so suddenly just completely? and if it needs to be replaced the warranty would cover this? Help, please

    Hello

Follow the steps here, including the verification of the charge for debris socket:

If your problem persists, contact Apple support (mail service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation in order to have your iPhone verified and, if recommended by Apple, served.

Your double post indicates that your iPhone is covered by the limited warranty of one year. No one here can tell you if your iPhone would be replaced under warranty (you don't talk to Apple here - it is a community based on the user).

If your iPhone is eligible and requires a repair material, note that you need to pay for the cracked screen to be repaired by Apple - or possibly for out-of-warranty repairs, if the damage is more extensive.

  • Evil in charge during the night?

I bought a Palm Pre recently and was curious: is - this bad to keep connected and supported throughout the night while sleep you? I didn't know that would do more harm to the battery - keep connected all the time or it drains all the time.

The battery on the charger should not cause any problems. It is built into the sensor on the device that won't allow "cooler" the device.

  • Randomly, the screen is blank when the charger is connected; generally very well during the execution of a battery

We have a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop.  When the charger is connected the screen will become black suddenly, and you can't seem to get the screen goes again.  It does not seem to close completely because when I press the power button twice (or more?) it brings back me to the password screen.

This only occurs when you run the battery, IE. not connected charger.  I bought a new charger thinking that was the problem, but the same thing with the new charger.

My only thought is that it could be the battery but unwilling to spend £60 on a new if it does not solve the problem.  And also the battery OK charges when the laptop is not activated.

Help needed please!  Thank you very much.

Hi Tiffany - Sorry a very very late thank you for your help on this.

I've been very busy and have therefore been put off watching it.  We have been surviving off the battery and when he runs out to paralyze the system / sleep mode and reload.  It became quite frustrating and that's why I've decided that I really need to fix this problem.

As you the advised, I went just through the safe mode and the problem occurred again glancing at your advice it seems there must be a hardware problem.  I had originally bought a spare power outlet, and this does not work then maybe it's the battery.  As you suggested, maybe a qualified support store is the best solution now.

Thank you once more!  I am very grateful.

Well, I just want know is it ok or never occur with any who, whenever I put my phone on pricing, then during the load after 20 minutes or so back phone gets warm or lukewarm and I always charge my phone with the original I have phone charger only.

    Hello

It may be normal for your iPhone to become warm when charging. Outside acts as a surface for cooling, heat transfer inside the camera of the iPhone to the cooler air outside.

Don't forget to follow all Apple security and handling guidelines, including:

If you fear that your iPhone gets hotter it should do, I suggest you contact Apple technical support or visit a Genius Bar or the service provider authorized Apple in order to have your iPhone and power accessories audited and, if recommended by Apple, served:

  • HP Envy 15 t-j1000: HP Envy 15 t-j1000 Select Edition died during the night?

I tried to start up my HP Envy 15t - j1000 select edition yesterday morning and I get no response what so ever. At first I thought I had left it on the exhaustion of the battery during the night. However, after a lot of troubleshooting (remove the battery and you try to start on the whole, hard reset, try another AC charger, removing RAM Modules and other components) I still can't you it to Sunrise power. The power led next door where my adapter plugs on it used to light either. It's as if the machine of the entry is completely dead, has no sense as long as its been runing perfectly without any problems.

In addition, it has beats audio, but no button beats on the chassis (as far as I can tell) because I know it's a problem reported causing some laptops with her boot.

    Help, please!

    Hi @DrexLock,

    Thank you for your update.

I understand you have changed the power button Board and the problem persists.

The led indicates the power is getting to the laptop. After replacing the power button you know power going to the motherboard, but it seems to stop there.

The next step would be to replace the motherboard.  Because they tend to be expensive, you can do a price comparison to see if the replacement of the motherboard, or the purchase of a new laptop is the best option for you.

    Good luck!

  • Tecra A3x hangs at "Setup starts windows" during the XP installation

    Hi again
I posted another thread on this laptop. This question was cured by adjusting the correct CPU.

So, now everything seems fine. Everything seems to work except very well.
During the installation of XP, the drivers all will charge them and then we get the text 'Setup starts windows' the lower left of the screen.
It does not further, just sitting there.

I googled this problem and read many old threads on the subject, I went to the Microsoft website too.
So far I tried (on the basis of these old threads)

    Different installation discs
    Different memory
Disable (in bios) that anything not reqd such as Lan
    Reset the default bios settings
You press F5 when invited to press F6 for scsi drivers. From there, I tried different setting options.

The current bios is 1.30, I understand there is a update available for 1.4 but it is a basic installation Win rather than back may be done without THAT installed XP.

Suggestions for what the problem maybe?

    Hello

What version of Win XP you try? Win XP contains the SP3?
Please include to the Win XP SP3 using a tool called nLite and then try to reinstall Win XP.

AFAIK the Tecra A3x support a common IDE HDD so no driver RAID or SATA is necessary.

You can also check the HDD of the Tecra.
Use the tool called Drive Fitness Test to test the HARD drive

    Good luck

  • Problems to start the iPad after the charge.

I have left the iPad charging outside the area during the night and have had start-up problems. I have a screen black and white and on pressing them and holding the sleep/home button an image of a battery. I release the buttons and finally after pressing the buttons, I get my home screen indicating a 100% charge. Has happened twice in the last few days when I greeted the battery power to reduce to 5%. My question is - this problem occurs when the battery power is authorized to reduce equal to or less than 5% before recharging or is the battery dying and requiring a replacement?

Without knowing at what age the iPad is, it would be difficult to blame it on the battery dying. I never let my battery get too low before I reload them iOS devices. In fact, I put my Air 2 iPad and iPhone 5s on the charger all night in order to get a full charge overnight. I use the iPad all day at work, so I need to reload or to take the charger and cable with me, I prefer not to do. I prefer to load the day after.

Why don't experiment you a little and do not let the unit run as low. Maybe that load when it gets to 25% left and see if that makes a difference.

  • Satellite P305D - different error during the startup sequence

Hi I have a constant problem I have no idea how fix it. I have Windows Vista Home premium loaded and it works very well when it is running. I can restart the laptop several times and it starts perfectly, if I turn it off for an hour or two and go to start it always happens with a different error during the startup sequence. Most of the time I just go to start Windows normally and it loads, other times I have to go to the ERD.

I uninstalled Vista and wipe the system well before reloading (using another drive) and the same thing happens. Would it be more likely to be hardware related? I know the battery charges well and I ran all the tools that Vista has to check the hard drive, so I don't know where to go next.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Terry

    Hello

Can you please post what errors you get during the boot process?

In my opinion it could be a hardware problem, because you have already tried to reinstall Vista, so I doubt that the error is software related.
Strange, but it might be a problem of RAM or HARD disk. The two parties, you can test it with Memtest86 and Drive Fitness Test. Google is your friend to find these two tools.

In the worst cases, you must go to an authorized service provider. Technicians can check the entire notebook.

  • iPhone 4 lights only if hooked up to the charger

Hi all. I've been browsing the discussions here and although I've seen some similar to my problem, none of them specifically do the trick, so I'm going:

Friday, before I left to go to a friend for Christmas, I was using my iPhone, no problem. As soon as it took me to my friend (30 minutes or more), it stop working. I do not use during the trip, as I had in my hoodie pocket. When I arrived at my friend's House and was talking with them, I decided to check my phone. He would not come.

Now, I am in no way iPhone-savvy, but I didn't let it fall out or get wet or anything in this short period of time. He did the boot loop thing. I have no idea why. I do not have happened recently at all. I gave twince since it possess (first time, my screen cracked. I ordered a new on Amazon and it is on the right track at the moment) and the second time, it had to be restored via iTunes to factory, even though I knew I had a backup (at the time it happened) the first days of September. He couldn't find it on my computer. I couldn't get my pictures back or anything.

Fast forward to now and it is to be all stupid and wobbly on me. I had one take a friend the battery for a few minutes while he tinkered with him (he is an expert so I'm not worried) and it still does not work. Whenever I have him look inward and remove the battery and a Ribbon or two, I brought home and he has restored via iTunes. Not this time.

I'm probably hiking. I did have codes of error or something like that, even though iTunes has tried to restore with a software update, but it is still giving me the boot loop. I'm not here for that. The only way that it "works" is if it is plugged, and even in this case, the screen is unresponsive. Is this just a screen problem, you think? Would that I need a new battery (when I ordered a new screen and usb charging port the other day, I've actually tried to batteries. Was it a sign? (* sigh *).

Any help on this would be appreciated. It is not a jailbroke iPhone that I refuse to do, unless it's an extreme emergency... like that.

    Thank you.

    Looks like the battery ended
