  • HP officejet 8600 not find network printer (macbook pro and windows 7)

I have installed the new software, set up the printer on the wireless and I can see the printer on my Airport Extreme, but I'm not during the game to the top (I can print via USB). I pulled out of Installer and is went on the forums and found a similar problem with an OfficeJet 6700. I followed the instructions given to the downloaded drivers from Apple. I could then see the printer online... briefly. I even hit print, got 12% in the printing process, but it died on me (not printed). I restarted/rebooted everything (printer, macbook pro, computer windows laptop and router) and no dice. I added the printer manually on the mac using the IP address, and I can see it. It gives me even a Green State, but when I try to print a document, the State of the printer is busy and turn until I have delete the print queue. I don't see anything when I'm in the box ' print and scan "to the default setting, that I should be able to.

    Any ideas out there?

I thought of it. I have a router using a double NAT and I had put the printer on the network of comments, as almost all of my devices are out there, but comments network does not allow access to other devices, only allow access to the internet. Installs everything other than mobile devices at "home"network and everything worked."

  • XP Pro and Home network

Sorry to bring up an old topic. I have two computers on a home network, a XP Pro and XP Home. They had been successfully networked with file sharing for some time, but a problem on the Pro machine brought me to reinstall Windows from scratch. Now I'm back to having access problems.

When I finished the reinstallation, each computer seen each other through my working group. The Pro machine could access the Home machine, but not vice versa. Today, I tried to repair the installation of Pro using my installation CD. After the repair is completed (SP L2) I checked and discovered that the situation was reverse - I could access shared folders on the computer of the computer at home Pro, but not the other way around. I then installed SP 3 and the other XP updates, and now I can't access the files in both directions.

I installed the NETBEUI protocol and enabled NETBIOS over TCP/IP on both machines. I disabled file sharing Simple box on the Pro machine and worked with the permissions in the Security tab, and I also checked the box Simple file sharing and use folders to be modified by users.  I used cmd to run net user guest/active: Yes. I used the Group Policy Editor to disable 'limit local account use of blank passwords to the local console'. I even tried to move computers to a new working group, without success. Bottom line is, according to me, that I did when I put at the beginning of the network upward some time ago, but this time the settings don't seem to be helping.

I was surprised the extra 'broke' my network places-XP update, that I put in place on the Pro machine earlier today. If anyone has any ideas of what I might have missed, I'd sure appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in advance.

Final complement, I found the problem - I have had to reinstall my anti-virus software when I rebuilt the Pro machine and apparently caused a hiccup with the program of antiv-virus on the home computer. When I disabled the antivirus software on the home computer, everything worked as it should.

  • Unable to join 7 Pro to the Small Business SERVER 2003 domain

So far, I was unable to join a new Pro 7 laptop running an existing Small Business SERVER 2003 domain. Whenever I try to use:

http://servername/ConnectComputer  I get a 403 http error and that it points to an IIS issue, but I can't seem to find a way to work around this problem.

Then I tried to go through the system properties and computer name change and join. Then, I get a message "cannot locate the area." I tried to use the FQDM, only the name of the server, the domain name under the extension, and nothing works. At first, I thought it was a DNS problem, but, I ping the name of the server or any other computer by name, with no problems...

Don't know what I'm missing here, but if anyone can shed some light on the situation, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

Thanks for coming with a concern for Windows in the Microsoft Community!

The computer windows 7 home can not access the main window 7 computer pro.

    1. What is the type of network that the computers are connected to?

    2. How are you trying to access the computer, is using \\ip_or_name\?

To make sure that the settings are appropriate. See the following links for the same:

I hope that people who have this problem in the future, you read this before you follow Ricky RockStars because he has mental health problems. After having seen his reply here and then others and it is how wildly incorrect, I did some research. I saw one of his messages on a forum from another site where he calls himself, "master of puppets" and he said he finds his answers on google. Dell isn't the only place to take responses at random to see if a stick, said. Apparently, he did that on ' yah * answers "and others, also. It is not a true expert, and instead of saying that he doesn't know, he barks just the random directions to try to solve problems or problems which can still be fixed, as it did here. He loves the power of the people who listen to him. He really has no idea what she's doing. He just googles your problem and tells you what it finds, as if he knew. The problem with is that if you have already done this, he will find the same wrong information makes you or even worse information as he did here. I saw a lot of his answers and about half are correct, 1/3 are wrong and just wasting peoples time, and the other 1/6 are harmful. Look at what happened here. He should have just said what I say below, but instead of that he had a back and forth for days because he loves control.  Seriously, I don't understand how Dell allows this to happen. It is everywhere in their forums, which gives bad advice, and using people as the 'puppets' in his weird game to control the actions of others.

    Here's the real answer:

Dell Vostro 3550 does not support WiFi 5 Ghz network connections. There is nothing you can do to address this problem in addition to changing the hardware (go out and buy a 5 GHz USB adapter).

  • Windows 8 pro and windows 8.1 pro 64 bit drivers ralink rt3290 and lan realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion GP A10 AMD laptop 2313-AX. The latest drivers from the HP website for windows 8 pro and windows 8.1 pro 64-bit drivers ralink rt3290 and lan realtek PCIe FE Family Controller appear limited in my laptop, but in the same laptop connectivity when I start in Windows Server 2008 R2, both LAN and wifi works very well.

Are there drivers available updated 2013 for these two hardware devices as dated?

Are there universal or generic drivers that can act as a workaround?

If so, please give me the URL for the same thing.

    Kind regards
    Sriram.

    Hi Steve,.

I came across similar issues where the driver manually enabled users to solve the problem. Uninstall the current network adapter drivers and manually install drivers that you previously downloaded.

    a. press Windows key + R key, type devmgmt.msc, hit the Enter key to open the Device Manager.

    b. expand network adapters, right-click on the listed network adapter and select Update driver software.

    c. click Browse my computer for driver software, click Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computerand then click on disk.

    d. in the dialog box to install from the disc, click Browse, locate the drivers, and then click Open.

    e. follow the steps described in the DeviceName update driver software dialog box to update the driver.

Try these steps and let us know the results.

  • Unidentified network Windows 8 Pro

    Hello

I have a Windows 8 Pro 64 bit computer bit and it said that my wifi internet connection is "not identified-no network access.
I have a WiFi hotspot and it works on the PC of my father and my Android tablet. (by the way, the hotspot is a public network with a p/sem.)
    I tried:

Restart the PC and the router,

Windows Troubleshooting (poster "WiFi is not a valid IP configuration")

Have turned off Windows Firewall (witch worked for 10 minutes) and I uninstalled Quicktime & Hello,.

I have no strange services that run in the background in taskmanager

    Unchecked TCP/IPv6

    Turn off/on WiFi adapter

Uninstall the driver for the WiFi card.

    Deleted ROUTE 0.0.0.0

    'Forget' the network

    Re-installation of IPv4 & Ipv6

I ran as administrator of these commands

Restore the default install WINSOCK entries: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset the battery TCP/IP IPv4 default installation. netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

Reset the battery TCP/IP IPv6 default installation. netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

    netsh int ip reset C:\netsh.log.txt
    netsh winsock reset

All do not work. I noticed a strange thing. In the properties of the wireless adapter TCP/IPv6 & TCP/Ipv4 have "Uninstall" whited.

I tried to reinstall them but that has not worked.

The last program that I installed is Adobe Download Assistant (I uninstalled, did not work)

And the last update of Windows installed is a "critical update for Windows 8. But he did not set a restore point before installation.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Josh

PS: I contacted my internet provider and they said: 'this isn't our fault, contact the manufacturer of your PC. I did, but he couldn't understand our either.

    Josh,

There is an APIPA address assigned automatically to the adapter wireless and as a result of which you cannot join any network or Internet access.

APIPA - an automatic private IP addressing

Addressing IP private AUTO is a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration protocol) failover mechanism for local area networks. With AUTOMATIC private IP addressing, DHCP clients can obtain IP addresses, when the DHCP servers are non-functional. AUTOMATIC private IP addressing is in all modern versions of Windows.

When the failure of a DHCP, APIPA server allocates IP addresses in the private range 169.254.0.1 to 169.254.255.254. Customers ensure that their address is unique on the network using ARP (Address resolution Protocol). When the DHCP server is again capable of service requests, clients automatically update their addresses.

APIPA, all devices using the default netmask 255.255.0.0 and all reside on the same

I would have you try these commands once more.

    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
    netsh winsock reset
    ipconfig/registerdns
    ipconfig/flushdns
    ipconfig/release

Restart the computer, and then check if you are able to connect to the network.

If the problem persists, manually assign an IP address to the wireless network and then try to ping the router to check if there is a good connection.

-Press the Windows key and the R key and then type NCPA. CPL

-Right click on the wireless network you are using, and then select Properties.

-Highlight or select version 4 Internet Protocol and click Properties.

-Select the option use the following IP address.

If the IP address of the router is 192.168.1.1, and the other the computer IP address is in the same sequence 192.168.1.2, then try to assign 192.168.1.3 and mass subnet 255.255.255.0 and press ENTER.

    -Close the network properties window.

-Open the command prompt and type ping 127.0.0.1 and press ENTER.

-Type ping 192.168.1.1 and press on enter

-Type ping 192.168.1.3 and press to enter.

Let us know if the packets sent are equal to the packets received.

Post a screenshot after doing so.

I update my Toshiba Satellite P300D from Vista to Windows 7 Pro and the only problem is when I change rezolution of 1440-900 to 1280-800 or below my screen shrinks
Ye and 1 last thing I have hiden partition recovery, but now I can't start to set Vista.

Anyone know what to do about it?

Have you noticed a few problems with the native resolution of the poster?
It makes sense when you use non-native resolution LCD will be somewhat different.
So if the image is perfect with a native resolution, everything is OK.

If you did own option of recovery installation Win7 will be gone and you will not be able to install HDD recovery again.

Tile: CMT Compaq dc7100 Dual Boot, Windows 7 Pro and XP Pro

Hello everyone.  My computer is adjustable having the dual boot with Windows 7 Pro on disk 0 (320 GB SATA Seagate Barracuda 7200.11) and XP Pro disk 1 (40 GB SATA Samsung SP0411C). As the two systems are available at the start but most all the time Windows 7 Pro would use. The computer is Compaq 7100, WCL PP255US, 3.2 GHZ Intel Pentium 4, 3 GB of ram, Council ch h 0968, bios HP 78 1 v01.05 16/06/2004, chip Intel 915 G Express.  According to the website of Seagate Barracuda 320 GB with (quote), ' he not there no master/slave because every player relationship is considered to be a master in a relationship from point to point.» If two drives are connected to a Serial ATA host adapter, the host operating system considers that the two devices as if they were the two "masters" on two ports separated. Both drives behave as if they were device 0 (master) devices.  On the drive Samsung (SP0411C) I put a jumper for master, it is connected to the motherboard instead of disk 1. Used rider illustrated for Samsung SP0411N since I did not see the SP0411C listed. When selecting information for Samsung Seagate site sometimes showed data for their readers. This is perhaps due to the recent acquisition of Samsung or maybe my mistake.  Tried swapping around wiring of each drive but that didn't work of course. Looked at the settings in the BIOS but did not see a way to create the dual boot.  Please let me know if you need more information. If you know how this can be done or have some suggestions, please let me hear it. As always, thank you very much for your comments.

    Oscar

Hello oscarmint, I checked the specifications of your system and it does not show the system supports two types of hard drives.

The system supports only Serial ATA (Sata) synchronous Maximum 150 MB/s transfer rate

You would need to make the jumper on the Seagate 320 GB Sata Drive pin, set at 150 MB/s.

You are right that the Seagate would not Cable Select or slave settings and it would be the master and only on cable.

If the 40 GB hard drive is a type of ATA (IDE), you'd better put as selection of cables (CS).
