  This article from Epson says that the driver is included in Windows 7.

  I don't see any info out there that clearly explains how to add it.  It simply States that you must go to "add a printer".  Looks like you already did this well.

  I upgraded my dell E521 to Vista dimension, but now finds that none of the CD/DVD drives work.  I also tried two external drives, same thing.  I downloaded the new drivers for the internal disks and when I tried to install the windows said they already had the best drivers.  Both drives are TSST - I get device status "windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The unit may be damaged or missing. "I want to upgrade to 7, but can not run the dvd, and apparently MS has no download available if you purchase cd!  Am tearing my hair!

  In general, the error can be caused by a missing required device driver, a required binary file is damaged, if there is a problem with the process I/O file, or if a pilot that makes reference to an entry point in another binary file which can not load

  You can try to uninstall and reinstall the driver for the device to solve this problem.

  Step 1: Uninstall the CD/DVD driver. Follow this step to do the same thing:

  a. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click System and Maintenance and then click Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  b. expand CD-ROM/DVD-Rom drives-> right click on the device, and then click Properties.

  c. on the device properties dialog box, click the driver tab, and then click on uninstall.

  d. restart your computer.

  Step 2: Reinstall the CD/DVD driver by visiting the manufacturer's Web site.

  I have the following question:

  The most recent display driver for my laptop toshiba on 22/02/11 ist homepage.
  Intel's pending new drivers for my Intel HD integrated graphics.
  What I should expect that Toshiba published new drivers in the support section of my laptop or can I somehow install new display drivers Intel original.

  I ' am asking because when I go on the Intel site and click on the detection of driver autoupdate then the application of Intel tells me that the display, installed on my laptop, driver is a special manufacturer Version and can not be updated by Intel.   Just to add to the response of cor - el, in my case (identical) was specifically the complement DivX HiQ, worm 2.1.0.900. As soon as I turned it off, the tabs started to behave normally again.

  Latest BIOS version can be found on the European driver Toshiba page.
  Currently, the version of the BIOS 1.80 is available and published for the Satellite A30 PSA30E.

  By the way; a more recent BIOS will not help to use a bigger HDD!
  The point is that your laptop supports the Enhanced IDE (ATA-5).
  Since the ATA-5 interface supports the 28-bit LBA addresses you should be possible to use Max 128 GB OF HARD DRIVE. I think that this is the maximum size, which is possible.

I'm logged in as an administrator and running Windows XP.  The driver for the new hardware is not digitally signed because I can't initialize the disk.  So I can't get my new hardware to run.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the option "Initialize disk" in the Disk Management Console?

  Can you simply right-click and format everything first?  The drive must be formatted before use, make sure that you format NTFS.
