  I have a new Pavilion laptop with Windows 10 (64 bit) I want to connect to a monitor HP S2031 n. This monitor has a VGA cable I had to adapt to the USB port.   January 20, 2016, I bought a hp pavilion laptop 15-AB224NE - R (P4H28EA) from Dubai Mall in a store of retail sales amounting to 870 USD including 10 built in windows. Since that time, I faced a problem of keyboard typing when you work on windows (like the website online, hotmail, facebook, emails, etc...)

  I spent a lot of time and money as (purchase Office 2013, antivirus and a lot of time to transfer my previous data)

  How can I be sure that I bought a genuine hp?

  I would like to get my money back.

• Printing a Web page to a .pdf or .xps file generates a file but it is empty. How can I fix it? I have Firefox 40.0 on a new computer laptop for Windows 10

  When I print a Web page to a .pdf or .xps file, it creates a new file, but file Explorer says it's 0 KB in size. These .pdf files will open, but they are white - the only thing that appears is the outline of a page, without anything in the outline. When I print an .xps file, File Explorer shows that it contains 0 KB. When I try to open it, I get a message saying that the XPS Viewer cannot open the file. These things just started for me a few days after I installed Firefox 40.0 on a new computer laptop of Toshiba Satellite with 10 Home Windows operating system. I have the latest version of Flash Player (in fact, I just tried redownloading and reinstalling the current version; that does not solve the problem). I tried to change the format by default to print to .pdf file, but that has not solved the problem. I contacted the chat Windows support site; They told me that it was not a Windows problem. Is this a Firefox problem? If so, you can tell me how to solve the problem, please?

  First of all, try to disable the extensions to see if that helps this, then try safe mode.

• New Pavilion dv7, HP TrueVision HD webcam not detected

  Just bought my new Pavilion dv7, and when I run the Cam software, it tells me that my HP TrueVision HD webcam is not detected. I tried this for a few days, at a point when I was trying to play with the settings you Cam, webcam light on for aprox. 2 seconds and then died again, since then, it won't let me even in the settings of YouCam.

  Right now I am more and more convinced that it is because of my laptop being assembled outside the United States. Need a fix for it immediately.

  I had the same problem with a HP Pavilion dv7-6e22b. I read on a short cable inside the screen.
  I found the post on the way in which the display is connected. It's an older model but I was curious to know how to remove the cover of the machine. It contains 2 screws (that I didn't have to remove to access the camera) just be causious does not break the bevel.

  It is an older model in the new model, the connector of the webcam is located directly under the lens of the webcam itself.

• New Pavilion 17-e135nr - Constant problem "NOT RESPONDING"

  I bought this new HP laptop a few weeks ago.

  Since then, I noticed that it freezes often with "DO NO ANSWER" in the upper frame.

  I did some research a few other similar posts & tried to make the process, but they have nothing did.

  FYI - sfc/scannow

  When finished he said "resource protection found corrupt files, but could not solve some of them.

  Then, I went and did the local C drive - check the drive for errors.

  He came back with NO QUESTIONS?

• Pavilion laptop g6-2200 CTO. Downloader driver AMD does not work

  I have a Pavilion laptop g6-2200 CTO provided with Windows 8, I've upgraded to Windows 8.1.

  I had a problem with the interface of the software for my HP OfficeJet 4500 All in One Wireless G510n-z which, when I tried to solve this problem, brought several others.

  This led to my "reset" and going back to 8. I tried to reinstall 8.1 and had issues with this OS again, so reset again and right now, I'm still on Windows 8 because I'm afraid to go back to 8.1 when 8 seems to work fine... until now.

  I posted a few questions on this web site and got a few good reviews... but... I was told I had to upgrade the drivers for the different parts of this computer AND programs, I installed.

  I have an AMD processor and went to their web site and downloaded the driver AMD Downloader but it does not work. Is there a setting on this computer crashes or is this something else?

  Get the number of the Service tag on the bottom of the laptop (can be under the battery) of your product how do I find my product number or model number once you have the info, use the button at the top of this page titled 'Support', then click on "Download drivers" in the menu. Enter your product number. After you enter the PN, click "Go". On the next page, use the drop-down menu to select your operating system, click Next. A list will populate with the drivers/software.

  I had a problem with my G6-1311sa pavilion laptop with windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, got the error message saying hard drive failed

  I contacted hp and they sent me a new HARD drive and 4 cd, 1 was a recovery cd and 3 others I do not remember what they are for, think that's also part of the recovery package.

  After replacing the old HDD with the new 1, I turned on the laptop and tested the new HARD drive and memory, they both passed.

  If I put the recovery cd and everything is fine, even got the message saying that the recovery is complete, restart

• Fan brand new Pavilion HPE h8-1120une System (case) is much too loud

  Just received delivery of the new Pavilion HPE PC.  Turned on the PC and the fan is way too noisy.  Applied just latest Bios Rev 7.12 and took a look in the Bios and can see the system fan speed is constantly running a little over 4000 rpm and the CPU turns fan I think a little over 2000 rpm, there are no adjustable parameters for the thermal options.

  The system fan is the noise, the power supply fan is not yet noticeable.

  Any ideas how to solve this problem would be much appretiated.  I'll try to call HP support tomorrow and see what they can do...

  This problem has been solved, solved by simply moving the PC in den where I wanted to put in place, and then he moved to my study! I have absolutely no idea why this has solved the problem. • New Pavilion g7-2220 will not load Windows to start-up

  I just bought a new Pavilion g7-2220 and am just finishing the initial commissioning.  All registration modules and guests of live recording of MS are fine, but then the computer will not load Windows.  He explains in brief it is impossible to load Windows from the hard drive in a small dialogue window, then restarts and brings back me guests for the first time again.  It is supposed to be preloaded with Windows 8.

  I'm very sorry to hear that you are having problems of this kind out of the box. The first option, I'd watch is an Exchange. If this is not a viable option, you can reset the operating system. This is a very simple process.

  1. prior to turn on/off the laptop, press in and hold the escape key

  2. press the power button as usual to start and hold down ESC until you see the Menu Start Up

  3. on the Start Menu, press F11 to go in Recovery Manager

  4. choose your keyboard

  5. click on troubleshoot

  6. click on reset your PC

  7. select just delete my files

  Leave about 30-45 minutes for the reset is complete. If you're still having problems with this load Windows normally, please let me know. Once again I aplogize for the inconvenience.   Your hard drive is dying quickly and must be replaced. If you have not burnt the recovery discs again I'd get burn soon or you will have to order from HP. You will need to boot and install Windows when you put the new drive in.
