New place doesn't wake up after going to sleep

I'm frustrated with my new coming 11 Pro, because 9 times out of 10, each time that I put it to go to the mode 'sleep', or he falls asleep, he wakes up not again. It seems to go to sleep very well and I push the button once to wake him up and vibrates it immediately for half a second. But then it never wakes or turn on screen for several minutes. I try the power button again to longer and eventually it starts and all my programs are closed and the computer restarted unexpectedly. What could be the cause of the computer to not again wake up after sleeping? It happens that my keyboard is connected or not, but if he plays well, then pressing the button start he wakes up. (It is rare that he wakes up actually sleep).

Hi rpseekell,

I'll suggest that you ask questions out of 11 in the forum of mobile devices.

Good luck!

  • Issue of Dell place 8 Pro Wake-Up after upgrading Windows 10

    Hello!

I upgraded to the latest BIOS A11 and installed all Windows 8.1 awaiting upgrades before version 10 of Windows. Yesterday, that I've upgraded to Windows 10.

Most things run pretty well... but one annoying thing:

When the device goes to sleep, I can't wake up around the high most of the time. Anyone can confirm this problem or has a work around?

    Kind regards, Andreas

Thanks for posting. I saw that last night. Just before I was about to go back to 8.1, I decided to check the driver page once more and I saw there was new files for the chipset and a few other drivers. Works perfectly now.

Thanks to Dell to get these online.

  • U2415, Nvidia GTX 950, monitor wake up after the deep sleep?

I have two-desktop monitor. We're U2415, connected via mini - dp-> DP and the other is U2311H, connected via DVI on my Strix Nvidia Asus gtx950 video card.

When starting PC, DVI monitor is always first & fastest even if it's my secondary monitor, but this isn't a problem.

However, the real problem is when to wake up my PC after monitor deep sleep DP (30 minutes, several hours or more) won't wake up at all. It stays black. I have to manually, press the 'power' 2 times before monitor finally wake up and restoration of 2 desktop screen.

Before NVIDIA, I got an AMD card and this was never a problem (although I used to connect to U2415 via HDMI). I used the tool to remove all previous video drivers. I'm also using the latest Nvidia drivers, 10 x 64 windows.

I must point out that when you wake up to a short sleep mode, everything is fine. If I wake up monitors in less than 30 minutes, or so they work as should. I also activated 1.2 DP see if the problem will be solved.

I am ready to suggestions, what I should check then in Windows, monitor settings etc. ?

    Thank you!

Looks like the Nvidia driver is slow to launch the DP communication CDM from deep sleep causing the monitor to think that nothing is connected. You could try to test a DP to DP cable and see if the problem persists. One solution would be to connect in this way =
NVIDIA GTX950 DVI out--> DVI to DVI cable--> DVI U2311H in
NVIDIA GTX950 out HDMI--> HDMI to HDMI cable--> U2415 HDMI in

  • ThinkPad Yoga wakes up on his own after going to sleep cover blame if the wifi is enabled

Recently, I noticed that my Thinkpad Yoga (20CD00B1US) guard wake up itself.

    powercfg-lastwake returns

    Suite history Count - 1
    Wake history [0]
    Wake Source Count - 1
    Wake Source [0]
    Type: camera
    Path of the instance: ACPI\PNP0C0D\2 & daba3ff & 2
    Friendly name:
    Description: ACPI lid
    Manufacturer: (Standard system thing)

Happens if the lid is kept open and I used the power button / stop for sleep or if I just close the lid. As soon as I do that, I see red LED comes on and off slowly so I know he's asleep. However within 5 minutes or less, I see that the red LED on the top of the 'I' on continuously.

    If I powercfg - devicequery wake_armed, I get

    Intel (r) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

It's really weird. I have wireless WPA2 (PSK) network, and I am confident that other devices are not so smart to send all the WOL packets (or whatever it is called for the wireless). I also have the AMT and other stuff turned off in the BIOS. Smart Connect Intel's Remote Wake on OFF, keep fresh data is ISOLATED as well. The problem goes away if I turn (turn off wifi) airplane mode before you send the PC to sleep.

Anyone who undergoes a similar behavior and what can I do to avoid waking up without flipping switch wifi? It is strange that the lid is to blame, while the problem is somehow related to the wireless adapter.

P.S., the installed BIOS version is 1.05 (not the last 1.06). All critical updates are installed.

You can check the properties of the WNIC in Device Manager to see if allow this device to wake the computer under power management is enabled. If so, deselect the option to see if your problem is resolved.

    Kind regards.

  • new PC doesn't recognize GPU after installing win7 on a PC that was initially 8.1 I win j

    Hi everyone;

I just bought a new pc with windows 8, an Acer Aspire TC-605, formatted the HD and installed windows 7 I prefer. But now it does not recognize my GPU, a card of 1 GB geforce gt705 supplied with the computer. All that I get out the devices and GPU - Z Manager is the normal VGA adapter info. However, AIDA64 sees the card so I guess it's connected ok. Besides, it's what my monitor is plugged and it works, just not very well.

I tried to install different drivers nvidia (320.49, 331.82), but the installation fails because "this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

I tried dxdiag and it shows as 'standard VGA graphics card '.

I also have a Geforce execution experience 2.1 but it "could not find a driver for this PC", whatever that means.

I also visited the page drivers nvidia, but it does not see my GPU.

I've seen suggestions to look in the bios but I don't see anything on the GPU it.

I am not connected to the motherboard by mistake there is a VGA Plug and it is on the video card. I will thanks to the card, but only in more simple default mode if I am right.

Cheers, really hope that someone can help you!

    Win 7 32 or 64-bit?

If you are running 64-bit, try this driver:

    http://global-download.Acer.com/GDFiles/driver/VGA/VGA_NVIDIA_9.18.13.3250_W81x64_A.zip?acerid=63537...

If the installer NVIDIA still cannot find your GPU, go to the Manager of devices, right click on Standard VGA, click on uninstall, then try again to install the Nvidia drivers and reboot your PC.

  • Dell 17r laptop doesn't wake up after hibernation

As soon as the stop, the screen of the laptop, I need to turn on the computer laptop and off again to make it work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The problem was caused by drivers being obsolete.

Windows Update does not pick up, then you will need to download the new drivers on the dell site.

I recommend starting with the graphics drivers, but I did 3-4 changes

  • After going into sleep mode after automatic update of Windows 7, Pavilion p6210y PC won't sleep

In two weeks, after an update of HP launched automatically, my monitor is not recognized - I tried to restart my PC via the power button, but the action brought everything back without interruption to the place.  Finally I made the necessary update HP closed down and all was back to normal.  Last night I made a full stop and a Windows 7 launched updates (do not turn off your computer, etc..).  This morning when I powered back upward, I got messages on the windows during Setup, etc, then everything returned normally.  I worked for a few hours and left the machine - it entered into mode 'sleep' and now I can't get out of fashion "Eve".  If I power cycle the monitor, I can messages same "cannot detect.  If I try to shut down the PC via the power button, the light is orange/sleep, I hear a humming, then seeing if off, then back to orange/snoring, reverse, etc..  Keeps the bike like this.  I'm afraid that question a couple of weeks may have been a sign of early warning of a problem of h/w, but am not sure.  Can anyone help?  I am not very savvy h/w... and hope that it is something more simple than that.  The PC is 2.5 years.

Your need to deactivate "standby" as soon as POSSIBLE to determine what is happening. You have 2 numbers because your motherboard is the infamous M2N78 - LA.

That hum maybe the CPU fan:http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Desktop-PC-questions/To-all-with-M2N78-LA-CPU-fan-constantly-changing-speed/td-p/704265

The other issue is more complex. Overheating the Nvidia chip. This chip share logic and circuits with the SATA hard drive controller and the graphics port. http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-hardware/m8530f-desktop-PC-with-a-M2N78-la-mother-board-doesn-t-see-my/TD-p/181716

Your need to read each section and each answer. I suggest you save and move forward with all the measures that you feel is of advantage.

  • HP 2009v: monitor going to sleep after connecting to a new PC

My parents have an old pc (HP Pavilion g3770l) that runs on windows XP and a relatively old monitor (HP 2009v). They work perfectly fine, but since his Win XP in most applications no longer work and is not fast enough to support new BONE. So I bought a new PC (HP 8200 Elite SFF) with win 7 pro 64-bit installed.

But when I plug in the monitor to the new PC, I get the message "monitor going to sleep" and the monitor turns off. PC turns. (I can hear the windows startup sound etc.). I tried the menu on the screen to change settings etc but it does not allow me to do. It just goes to sleep.

Combination of old monitor old pc still works.

Please help it was supposed to be a Christmas gift.

This unit may have many configurations, but is it possible that there is more to a port monitor (video output) and that the monitor is connected to happens to be inactive?  This can happen if the camera has built-in graphics card and also a video card is installed.

  • Re: Satellite P500 - 1C7 do not wake up after adding memory

    Hello
    I replaced the original memory of 2 x 4 GB 2x2gb.

It works fine except that the PC doesn't wake up after a break.
    I have win7 64.
    How is that possible?

The laptop worked before adding new modules?
If so, then the problem could be related to new modules
In this case I recommend that you test the other modules

I use Kingston modules has never had any problems using these memory modules.

  • Computer doesn't wake on standby after you install the printer 7520

I installed a new 7520 on my desktop PC (XP Home). The printer works well, but when the computer goes into sleep mode, I can't wake him - forcing me to restart the PC. "Sleep" mode on the computer worked before the installation of the printer.

If I keep the printer off, wake up from stand-by on the computer will work correctly.

    How can I fix?

    Hey Zyzx,

I see this type of condition before in a connected USB printer.  How do you have the printer connected to the desktop of Windows XP Edition family?  (USB or network connected)

If the printer is connected by a USB cable, then you try another USB port on the PC and uninstall/re-installing the USB to the PC controller.

To perform the uninstall/reinstall the USB controll follow the steps below.

    • Boot safe mode on the PC
    • Click on the start menu in the PC
    • Right click on my computer
    • Select manage in the list
    • Select Device Manager from the list on the left
    • Right-click on the section called "Controllers of Bus USB", and then select Properties
    • Uninstall section, and then restart the PC to complete the re - install

I'll look at this more for you and get back with you.
