  All you have to do is right click in the header to close the menu items, such as tools and help. This should open a context menu with a few options of the user interface for you. Simply choose "Tabs on top" and you should be set.

• Firefox hangs at random, even with all extensions disabled and new profile, but not in safe mode

  From about 2 weeks ago, Firefox has been crashing. Accidents is seemingly random, but normally occurs when several pages/tabs are opened.   Hi, the new D3/D700 'beta' profiles are still ongoing (sorry, have not completed their yet) and are not included in the installation of LR3. However, those I posted in the forum still work correctly with LR3. In other words, if you left them installed when you LR2, you can continue to use with LR3.

• Firefox blocks - can not open it at all, even in safe mode and with a new profile

  A possible/probable cause is a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.

• Thunderbird does not work properly after copying old content profile in the new profile, what can I do

  Firefox IS working with Windows 8 in Mode safe (I got a message saying Firefox had not been closed properly) with a new profile. If I used an existing profile, Firefox would start and then close when I went to ANY website or any just not start.   I have created a new profile, turned off all plugins, redonfigured my security suite of network to start automatically and restarted normally.
