New signing them?

Hi guys,.

I don't know if I've seen this problem before, but I just noticed a new bug (or feature?) when signing via the 0.9.4 SDK command line.

Here's what I do:

  1. Build the application from the command line (after making sure it is not in debug mode)
  2. Sign the application from the command line (following all the steps of the dev Guide)

@biggerCC, you are giving on the stage of the "double sign".  See PROCEDURE for more information.  This is the command that ends with "author":

blackberry-signer -keystore MyKeystore.p12 -storepass MYPASS MYAPP.bar author

    Hey guys

    Thank you for your support, the last time I had questions.

    I have developed many applications PlayBook with WebWorks.

    Today, I wanted to get one of them running on my DevAlpha camera.

    I had the same problem as this guy here:

    Here's my output terminal:

    I ordered new signing keys because mine were only for PlayBook and I needed for BB10.

    Then I started GraphicalAid, implemented the last SDK to WebWorks BB10 as 'BlackBerry WebWorks SDK location' and click "Start the Configuration Wizard".

    On the last step, I was able to click on "Register New Keys".

    Here comes the problem.

    Luckily the program told me this:

    "(!) ATTENTION: this action will cancel the registration of that computer, making it impossible to sign applications.  To continue signing applications and the creation of debugging tokens, you must re-enroll to the: http://www.blackberry.com/go/codesigning after re-registration, new versions of your applications appear as new applications, not upgrades, and will not have access to shared data from previous versions.  Are you sure you want to delete your current keys? »

    Now, I want to be able to get the BB10 apps running but I also want to be able to release future updates of my PlayBook applications. If updates recognized as new apps I can't use them as updates.

    So I have not deleted my key of course, but now I can't test stuff on my DevAlpha using my DebugToken.

    I thought it might be because I used BlackBerry Tablet OS graphical help but I don't know too much about.

    Any suggestion guys?

    Please help me.

  • 7.0.1 new Mobile themes

    I've updated to 7.0.1 but did not have the new mobile themes Pooja mentioned yesterday.  I guess it's maybe because I have no ""ensure that you make a backup of the file Layouts and delete it. " I don't see a simple way to uninstall the patch then re - install, so can I download new themes from somewhere and place them in the folder Layouts?"

    1. close Captivate.

    2 rename the old Layouts folder.

    3. open Captivate.

    Surprisingly, it worked for me. Not sure if this will work for everyone.

  • How to get the module complementary Personas Rotator to work with new Firefox themes?

    Before Firefox password personas to themes, add-on Personas Rotator automatically switch personas at a defined interval (ie. every 1 minute). I currently 12.0 Firefox installed as well as the latest versions of Personas Plus and Personas Rotator, but the CAP does not work.

    Before you had to sign in my favorites for the add-on to run my favorite characters, but now when I connect, it has no rotation. Single character/theme active stays on the screen. There is no automatic rotation.

    Private browsing mode is not selected. How can I get Personas Rotator to work? Thank you.

    Good news! The Personas Rotator is now working again and activation of personas automatically at 1 minute intervals.

    It started working again after I went to the 'Appearance' under 'Modules' tab and deleted all the personas listed there (ones I 'added to Firefox"Favorites list which is accessible after registration at the gallery).

    But now I see that the personas that are currently in rotation are appearing in the 'Appearance' tab as well. I wonder if it will be necessary to 'remove' all these more later to get them running again. Will post an update later for anyone having this same problem.

  • Where are stored the new downloaded themes?

    I want to download a large number of new themes, but I want to save them.  The last time I spent several hours of downloading about 60 of them.  Then, I had to re - install Wiindows and lost all of them.  I just downloaded (1) theme to see if I could find in Windows, but the only ones I see in the Themes folder are made here when Windows is installed, the new theme I just download isn't there.  Would he?

    I downloaded Firefox on a new Mac. Message received: "a device starts the synchronization with the devices connected to your Firefox account." Is there something I would be concerned or is this referring to my current installation of Firefox.
    Is attached a screenshot of the e-mail message.
    Thank you.

    You're welcome, Barbara. Sorry for the cause for concern!

    I confirmed with the team of Mozilla Sync it's an email waiting turning Sync in Firefox on a new computer, tablet or phone. In the future, they will cease to send this type of email to avoid worrying people.

  • Do I need new signing keys?

    I developed before BlackBerry OS applications and have the signature for this key. Do I need new ones for the Tablet?

    Keys for the Tablet are different from the keys to the mobile operating system.  Yes, you will need a different set of keys and the signature uses a different command line interface.

  • Overrides styles apply to the new cloudy theme minus 4.1.1.

    We need (on a single screen) to considerably compress a report view. To do this, reduce us the font size, get rid of padding, etc., resulting in a much more compact display of data. We do this by placing the following in the region report header (this is an IRR):
    <style type="text/css">
    table.apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA th {padding:0px 1px 0px 1px; margin:0px; font-size:12px; font-weight:bold; vertical-align: bottom;}
    table.apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA th div {padding:0px 1px 0px 1px; margin:0px; font-size:12px; font-weight:bold;}
    table.apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA td { padding:0px 1px 0px 1px; BORDER-LEFT: #ddd 1px solid; white-space: nowrap;  font-size:10px; }
    table.apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA a { text-decoration: none; border-bottom:1px dashed; }
    .look1 {padding:0px 1px 0px 1px;}
    .look2 {padding:0px 1px 0px 1px;}
    </style>
    4.1.0 and 21 Scarlet theme, it does exactly what we want. However, under 4.1.1 with theme trouble a lot, but not all of these style settings are ignored. For example, the "nowrap" seems to take effect but, all others appear to be ignored. Looking for the source of the page generated under 4.1.1 I see the apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA of the class I don't know what the problem is.

    It's actually a bigger deal that sounds like to the customer I'd appreciate any help.

    Why can't you simply change the selectors as shown above?

    ! important (without space) is the last resort and is not necessary in this case as matching the theme later in the cascade selectors will be replace the rules of theme.

    As I said, we want only that this behavior on a single window, and it seems just exaggerated. If there is no way to do it, you know a detailed anywhere doc to allow me to add a template just for that?

    Interactive reports using templates, if working around or on top existing styles is the only way to change their appearance.

  • SG300-28 import self-signed SHA2 certificate to the SSL Protocol (including the format? How do I?)

    1. What is the format a certificate and private key combination should play during import to use SSL?

    2. how actually import you - via CLI or web interface.

    I'm trying to import an SSL certificate that is self-signed in the SG300-28 to secure the connection to the web interface of the switch. The certificate is signed by my own 'certification authority' / custom root certificate.

    I tried to do it via the graphical interface of web management (security > SSL server > server SSL authentication) and the command-line via SSH. I will detail my exact process below. I had no problem importing a certificate created in the same way to the Cisco RV320 router, although the web interface is different.

    How to create a certificate that is accepted by the switch?

    (Image Active) firmware version: 1.4.0.88

    My approach:

    1. OpenSSL 1.0.1f January 6, 2014; on an ubuntu 14.04 machine
    2. Create my own, certificate of self-signed root:

     openssl genrsa -out rootCA.key 2048 openssl req -x509 -new -nodes -key rootCA.key -days 3650 -out rootCA.pem

    3. create a private key and the real certificate and sign them using the rootCA.pem:

     openssl genrsa -out switch.key 2048 openssl req -new -key switch.key -out switch.csr openssl x509 -req -in switch.csr -CA rootCA.pem -CAkey rootCA.key -CAcreateserial -out switch.crt -days 3500

    for later use, export the public key of the switch.key - file using

     openssl rsa -in switch.key -pubout > switch.pubkey

    4. open the web interface of the switch and check for the SSL settings (Security > SSL server > server SSL authentication).

    4.1 click "import certificate".

    4.2 paste the contents of the switch.crt file in the ' certificate:'-textbox

    4.3 to import pair of RSA keys

    4.4. Paste the contents of the switch.pubkey file in the public key field

    4.5 by selecting the 'Clear text' radiobutton control and paste the contents of the inside switch.pubkey

    4.6 click 'apply '.

    4.7 receive an error message 'invalid key head '.

    The private key looks like this (oviously, I created a new one for this example):

     -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- MIIEpAIBAAKCAQEA3gOvNzKqULXnT7zL9fl4KJAZMo5eYHfwPSN0wl385na37oHz [23 more lines truncated] aB7Pooa60anjIVJmlSIp4WJ8U+52BMKJZ5rqHnJ1sBBo1zpAtcdspg== -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----

    I also receive a header invalid key error when you try to import the private via CLI SSH key using:

     switch(config)#crypto key import rsa

    I also converted the certificate and the private in PKCS12 and then back to the PEM key that gives me the following private key "head" which is not always accepted when pasting in the CLI:

     Bag Attributes localKeyID: FE 24 88 34 66 BE E9 DB CE 4E 91 23 2C 0E 03 B1 A7 58 32 24 Key Attributes:  -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- MIIEvgIBA[...] -----END PRIVATE KEY-----

    What key header miss / what am doing wrong in general?

    It seems that ' import key cryptographic rsa "command is not suitable for import SSL key related private, but rather for the importation of SSH keys. Code "key header is missing" means that switch expects anything other than "-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----", for example the headers that you can see after the execution of ' view keys cryptographic rsa "(- START PRIVATE KEY ENCRYPTED SSH2-).

    To get your SSL certificate installed, you have two options:

    The CLI option:

    • create a RSA private key with command

     switch(config)#crypto certificate 2 generate key-generate 1024

    • create the certificate request with

     switch#crypto certificate 2 request

    (don't forget to provide all information for this order, including '' cn '' and so on). Note that this command must be executed inside the privileged mode and not in mode configuration as the previous command.

    • After you run this command, you'll get sign certificate request (CSR). Copy and paste it into the new file on the server that hosts your certification authority.
    • now sign this CSR file with the command that you have already used:

     openssl x509 -req -in switch.csr -CA rootCA.pem -CAkey rootCA.key -CAcreateserial -out switch.crt -days 3500

    • After signing to just open the file "switch.crt" and copy all content between BEGIN and END section including.
    • and import this certificate with order

     switch(config)#crypto certificate 2 import

    • and finally for your certificate to be active, do it with the following command:

     switch(config)#ip https certificate 2

    WebGUI option:

    Here, the procedure is similar to the CLI:

    • You must click on "Generate certificate request" in the "Security-> SSL server-> server SSL authentication" section, fill in all necessary data and click on "Generate certificate request."
    • you will get CSR data you need to paste into the server with the certificate of the CA.
    • sign the certificate with the command openssl similar as mentioned previously
    • and import a certificate with maintaining "import RSA Key-Pair" unchecked.

    Personally I've never managed to get imported both key and certificate from the outside.

  • New computer, transfer of hard drives... How can I access the files executable for MS Word or, more importantly, Visual Studio 2012?

    I had an old computer get taken out by a storm. I managed to save to computer hard drives and installed them in a new computer. I can see my programs MS Word, PowerPoint, etc. and Visual Studio 2012. The problem I have is to find the executables for these programs so that I can actually use them. Is there a work around or do I still have to pay for them? VS is a pro version and more than 2K last I checked! Am I missing just the files in a folder, that I don't see? I seem to be able to find the files exc for other programs. (Rosetta Stone)

    Really, I don't want to buy these programs and will probably go to another (more accessible) suite of software, if necessary. I can write the code in other IDEs and use another desktop software which ensures the compatibility of the MS products if that's the case.
    Thank you for your time and understanding,
    HH

    You cannot run programs from the old hard disk, they must be reinstalled on the new installation of Windows computers.

    Apart from the home folder for Office who would be in the Program Files folder, directory on the original drive Setup performs a number of other things. It will make hundreds of changes to the registry, install many libraries and sign them and put some files in the Windows directory itself.

    Also, if the version of Office that was on the old computer came with the PC, it's more likely to be an OEM license. As such, it cannot be installed or run on the new computer as a limitation of the original end user license agreement.
