  May I ask then, what was the point of investing in an SSD? The point of having an SSD is that Windows 7 starts and works faster to your programs will load faster. You must store 'data', you create from your programs on the 'data disk '.

  Sometimes when you compose a new email, I can't insert a picture into a message. I tried the Insert button and the insert icon. This happens all the time; but, when it happens that I can't seem to make it work. My system is a Win 7 with Thunderbird 24.3.0.5. I tried inserting different graphic images and have tried all the combinations in the Image Properties window.

  Bill Gray here once again. I find that if I open another window of writing, then copy and paste my email address in the window - initial, I can insert graphics into the new window.

  What happens in Thunderbird to get there? What happened a couple of times. But at least now I know that I can open a new window of writing and work around the problem. Yet, I'm still stuck with the nagging question: why is it happening?

  I'm shooting with a Nikon D300s and I was using 8 elements and Camera Raw 5.5 (included in item 8) to process my photos for two years now. Since today, when in Camera raw, I now see a new set of camera with v4 profiles added to the list options in camera of calibration. As for example "camera D2X Mode 1 v4, v4 of landscape of the camera, camera neutral v4 etc...) From whence they came (they weren't there the last time about 2 days ago, I opened elements) and how are they different? They just increase the list and disturb my work flow.

  Is there a setting that has been changed? But I do not remember making any change. It me indeed puzzle.

  These would have been added by an update to plug in Camera Raw. Each is an alternate interpretation of the raw data. We get these profiles of the manufacturer, then it means that put Nikon to update their profiles and we distribute them. Probably, you wouldn't be able to seems not much difference between the older version and the new version of the profile.

  These profiles are just files on the computer, and if you really just want to do the cleaning in the list, you can remove the extra copies. They are stored here:

  Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\Nikon D300S

  Win Vista/7: C:\Program Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\Nikon D300S

  Macintosh: HD/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Camera Raw / CameraProfiles / photo/Nikon D300S camera

  I recommend keep v4 files, because these are the latest versions.

  Thanks for posting the details of your system. I'm skeptical about the "CompTool0234 Community Toolbar". Could you disable some add-ons and see if that helps.

  Disable «Conduit Plugin»

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

  Disable the CompTool0234 community toolbar.

  Then very probably a link will appear to restart Firefox to make the change. Does make a difference?

  This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

  I upgraded to 10 Windows and crash of new applications and money preloaded occasionally when I click on an article to read.  I'm back to the start screen and I lost my place in the application.  It has been suggested that I run sfc and who says just, he cannot fix some files.  I have a 7 Stream with an added 32 GB sd card so I could upgrade.  Any suggestions?

  I was able to do a clean install after getting an OTG cable, a USB hub and a USB flash drive.  I used the media creation tool to create the USB key directly after wasting time trying to use Rufus and the file ISO (wouldn't boot).  Then the installation program wouldn't work because my drive was BitLocker top.  The instructions I found for BitLocker only affect Windows 10.  You need to use the Format C drive for process line.  Then I need all drivers of HP and could not download in portrait mode, had to use landscape (burned an hour as understanding).  News and money now work all the time.

  Reinstall Office and all my apps and settings is an incredible time burner.  How I wish the upgrade worked.  My $80 stream 7 now have $ 200 in the work invested in it.
