  I tried the user - set the page to a new tab in everything: changing browser.newtab.url config

  I followed the suggestion of extensions to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1081409, but I have no extensions enabled. None of the other suggestions were relevant.

  Setting up substitute new tab and new tab custom

  After installing one of these extensions, you must use the Options page to set the new desired tab page (instead of use subject: config).

  Open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a (Mac: Cmd + shift + a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the side right, find the new tab replace or custom new tab and click on the Options button. (See first screenshot attached).

  New tab Override

  Depending on the size of your screen, you may need to scroll down to enter the address in the form. (See second screenshot attached). For example:

  • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
  • Blank tab = > subject: empty
  • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
  • Any other page = > full URL of the page

  Then tab or click this form field and you can test using Ctrl + t.

  Custom new tab

  It is easy to enter your favourite homepage address. If you check either of the boxes, the expansion will set the focus in the page as well, for example, the cursor will be in the Google search box. (See third screenshot attached). I had to leave Firefox and start it up again before new custom tab started working, but this may have been due to tests so many extensions back to back.

  I prefer the old behavior of newtab in which we could simply select a specific page for which each new tab opens automatically. I find the sight of tiles for new tabs too distracting and cluttered at worst and at best, an additional step.

  Is someone working on a solution that does not entail an extension or a plugin?

• When changing the "browser.newtab.url" is there a way to prevent the update address bar?

  When I change "browser.newtab.url" to about: home and open a new tab, focus is set on the address bar, not the search box on the home page of firefox. The same thing happens if I change the url to google.com or another search engine. Is it possible to avoid this.

  This has been fixed in version 14 and more.

• iOS 10 Photo Focus Glitch

  Hey.

  For several months now with no problems at 6s. A few days ago, I updated to iOS 10. Today, I used camera first time after the update and discovered that, after that I started the default camera app, developed hanged. I mean that the application itself is very good. Can I change the mode. Once I'm on the video, it's still okay. I restart, put the phone on the table and a few hours after app restart: same thing, the update crashes. As if the camera hangs on start trying to concentrate in the blurred image. If I move the camera, photo exchange a little, but still, not not focusing. And the strange thing is that when I go to the front camera, it hangs along the main camera as well. After passing mode, it's still okay.

  The main issue which is a bug in the iOS 10? I can't believe out of material can appear like that out of the blue and only affect the two devices in a mode...

• for debugger, shortcut moves keyboard focus to the component source from research

  I'm in the debugger and use the search function to find a definition of the function by pressing ctrl + d. I select the function definition.
  It works great so far, but the focus of the cursor is always in the search window. In general, I now want to set the focus on the source pane (so I can scroll, set breakpoints, etc.). However, I can't find a shortcut to the source window. Y at - it a shortcut or other quick way without using the mouse?

  Installed some crapware today and have trovi.com as the page by default when I open a new tab. It makes me incredibly angry. What is even worse, he has changed the browser.newtab.url and when I removed the config it STILL load the same page.

  Hi, please try to work through Remove Trovi of Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer by Malware advice.

  Note that not all programs removal allows to detect all malware, you may need to run multiple or all of them.

  After the withdrawal, you need to reset your home page and search, what you can do by running the add-on SearchReset.

  I can't change the background color of my page newtab to something other than white that it is today. Navigation in a dark room is extremely blinding, when opening the newtab page. In the past, I modified my file userContent.css with the following (among others):

  I just want my homepage appears on new tabs, not the tiles of history. I don't understand why Firefox doesn't do this as simple as selecting a default home page. It could be easily done right to the general or the search tabs in the options. Looks like a reasonable scale to ask.

  On Firefox 41.0.1 there is no "browser.newtab.url" in subject: config at least on mine. I tried to fix this using existing message/question strings and the man refer to 'browser.newtab.url '. I would like to solve it this way, but this selection is just not for me.
