  I recently had a virus and I had removed it by my anti-virus provider technicians. I had to boot mode safe several times and now I have found the system restore gives me the message "system restore has been disabled by group policy. To turn on system restore, contact your domain administrator.

  I am the administrator on my computer and the only user, and when I try to turn the system restore in system properties is not there! Any help would be appreciated. I use Win XP Pro SP3 pre-installed on a Compaq.

  I fixed the problem thanks to what joelj1964 says "fixmycomp".   I assume that your RAID settings are set to mirroring (RAID-1) and not to the stripping (RAID-0)

  The RAID may change in the BIOS on the 3rd page.
  Please check this box.

  But note; If you would change the RAID settings you would lose all of the data stored on the HARD drive.

• I have Photoshop CS5 and when I try to launch it after recovering from a crash of the system, I get a popup telling me I have to use Adobe Application Manager.

  I have Adobe Application Manager and he wants to give me Photoshop CS6.  I couldn't find a way around THIS so I let Application Manager download and install CS6.  Who wants to be activated but (understandably, I suppose) wants my serial number.  All I have is the number for CS5 so I guess that since I was more or less fed force CS6, that will be fine.  It is not the case.  I went to the Chat facility but told me that they support only the activation problems and/or installation, and since my CS5 (although not functional) is enabled in fact, it's on the forums.  Help?

  I finally got things market so I thought that I would return at least to indicate what was necessary in case someone else is in a similar mess.

  I had NOT reinstalled CS3 as the two guests and all indications here in the forum suggested that it would be enough just to enter the serial number for CS3.  As it happened in this case - probably because of the goulash that my system has been transformed an operating system crash and reinstall - which would not be good enough.

  I reinstalled CS3 and launched so I'm the guest of serial number and has been able to do successfully 'Activé' (see the first picture below)

  I wasn't able to get CS3 "registered" (see the second image), but the guest suggested javascript as suspects or internet access, and my presence here in the forum proves neither of those to be wrong. The failure of the connection indicates it may be trying to connect to a resource for activating long dormant CS3 (or dead) at Adobe?

  I then restarted CS5 and once I gave my serial number, he was finally happy with any complaint of needing a product calling prior to the upgrade (see third picture)

  The hidden partition you want to say has nothing to do with the Toshiba recovery image.
  There are files for system restore, and it is a feature of Vista, not Toshiba. If you want more information about the restore of the system here is a good article from Wikipedia:

  The HARD drive recovery folder contains the original recovery image and if you don t have access to this folder and do not burn the recovery disc, you need a new.

In settings, you will find backups of your information is synchronized usually some contacts/calendars and other files, and you can choose the one you want to restore, but iCloud does not restore the hotmail contacts.

  I suggest to unplug all external devices such as printers, scanners, etc. of the system and then try to boot to the desktop and check.

  Also I ask you to set the BIOS on default and check parameters. You can contact the manufacturer of the computer for these settings.

  the error message is related to the controller to start the virtual machine, which is different from the original system, and its drivers are not loaded in Windows. What you try, it is to use the free VMware Converter and run the option "Set up the Machine", which should inject the necessary drivers in the virtual machine.   The problem is that you only pass the only element to the copy action (you have copied text), instead of an element for each line (paragraph) in the text.  The solution is to use the action filter paragraphs to break up along the borders of paragraph text, which will give you a list of items.  In addition, you do not necessarily have to use TextEdit or the Clipboard - If you already have a file somewhere, you can simply use the action to combine text files to read the text.

  With the above modifications, your workflow should look like:

  Ask the Finder items  (ask for a destination folder)

  Set the value of the Variable  (Destination)

  Ask the Finder items  (Download text files) - set the action to ignore the entry

  Combine text files  (read the text files)

  Filter paragraphs  (paragraphs which are not empty return)

  Copy the items to the Finder  (at Destination)
