No Audio - HP Envy 23 monitor

Hi all

So, I recently bought the monitor 23 Beats Audio HP Envy. I used the disk provided to install the drivers and software, he said. So I wanted to try the audio jack and plugged into the monitor and it my computer says I have no speakers or headphones connected.

I'm only using a VGA cable to connect my computer to monitor, this is the problem or if it still work if I plug the headphones on the screen instead of the computer. The headset works fine if I plug it into the computer. Do I need another cable or have not installed something.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

K

  • U2413, Audio sound coming from monitors the headphone jack.

    I have audio noise from headphone monitor U2413 plug.  My setup includes the following: XPS 15 laptop computer connected to the monitor with DisplayPort cable and the last standard headphones to the monitor.  The noise sounds like the gain is all the way to the top.  I have no audio on the computer running and still hear static noise.  I hear the sound noise cut only when I disconnect the video cable.  I tried DisplayPort and HDMI cables and still the same result.  The two cables that I know are well insulated.  Is their environment in the monitor that should get rid of this noise?

    The user's Guide, States on page 9,
    "Audio Out = connect the mini stereo Jack sound bar.
    «NOTE: use of the helmet is not supported for the line audio output connector.»

    This port is designed to be used with the Dell soundbar speakers or some other speakers. You should connect your headphones to the audio output jack of the computer.

  • Series 500-700z HP Envy: envy 23 monitor with Beats Audio

    Hello

    Could someone explain to me what is Audio Beats?  There are controls on the bottom right of my screen for audio, to increase or decrease.  I was led to believe that the sound came across the screen somehow, but after that I put my computer, there is no sound until I plugged my own Dell speakers.

    When I bought the computer, I have not bought speakers because the seller has made me believe that the sound came across the screen.  I see the controls on the screen, but I have no idea what audio Beats is, or how it works, and if I needed speakers, someone should have sure I knew that, wouldn't you?

    Any information would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    As for sound, it really varies from one system to the other. There are some displays with built-in speakers, and others are not. In general if you're a fan of his, so it is best to get a good pair of speakers, as those usually included with computers and laptops is the basis.

    Please let me know how it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  • No Audio - HP Envy Phoenix 810-145QE

    Not audio on the back or the upper connector, using the "Troubleshooting" of the message, it is that no device is connected. My headphone and line connection of the speakers work fine on my old HP computer. HDMI audio output does not work, but I really don't want to use this video out all the time. I tried to reinstall the driver, who was the same as this computer is less than a month. Why she even check to a device 'connected' to the audio output, that kind of thing is just a matter for additional problems.

    Hello BobinLA,

    I understand that you are having problems with audio in the upper rear connectors on your desktop HP ENVY Phoenix 810. • m6-1178ea audio HP envy beats sound fluctuations and low windows 8.1 (no compatible drivers)

    Hello

    I have a laptop hp envy beats audio m6-1178ea. everything worked great until I upgraded to (forcibly) to windows 8.1. Since then, the audio has reduced in quality, power. The control panel with EQ does nothing. Small changes with the sidebar on the left, but in general the sound is it good and really low. When I plugin speakers or earphones, it's even worse, the quality declines more, the sound comes only out really low and flat, no bass and also varies a lot. (for example when I plugin the speakers for 1 second the sound is good and strong, and then he goes down and fluctuate). I have lived many forums like this one, I used the latest drivers (which are more than a year), I used the default windows drivers that disables audio beats, still nothing.

    All solutions? Microsoft, HP will lead to a solution and the correct drivers?

  • Audio HP Envy 3033CI has stopped working

    I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on a laptop HP Envy 3033. The audio has suddenly stopped working. This happened right after an update of Windows, although that could be a coincidence. I tried to use the troubleshooter in Windows for sound and used the Recovery Manager to reinstall the audio driver, but nothing has worked. No sound through speakers or headphones. Everything looks like it should work, but it is not. Computer is still under warranty.

    No audible response in the installer, so I'll try the repair of the equipment. Thanks for your quick response!

  • HP Envy laptop monitor does not light

    Just bought this HP Envy with Windows 8 just over a month ago.

    Today, after the installation of an HP recommended that Windows Update the monitor does not light.  The power led is on the internet led is activated and the CAP turns on if you press.  Still no monitor.

    Bought it at best buy and it's a drive of 1 1/2 at this store if I have to take it to Geek Squad

    If you have windows 8.1 on it then it looks like the update of kb2903939 killed. I fight with this problem since Christmas.

    Power cycle the cell several times without leaving start completely. It should bring up a screen of recovery. If you can find the path to start safe mode, you can uninstall kb2903939 and then restart. That fixed my problem.

    Otherwise, it should be a call to HP or Microsoft support.

  • Audio bug, bug, bug monitor rendered title now REF... PR 2015 wants to kill me?

    When Pr and I met in 07, we went down a brilliant start. CS2 saw me through the launch of my new business, including several online and video wedding Χωρίς along the way.

    Then last year, I decided to put my editing prowess to create a YouTube channel for charity. And since Pr seems hopeless for me a sword through my monitor of push and go buy instead of iMovie.

    I upgraded to creative in Feb. 15 cloud when it seemed necessary to the development of additional programs to deal with a project of green multi-layer screen. Who was the greatest, edit more complex that I never tried, but it succeeded, and (b) he taught me the efficiencies available with the edition of sequence in sequence. Good looking.

    For about 2 months. Then, one day, Media Encoder decided randomly that audio nesting of one seq in another was too fast, and rather my speakers should have a mammoth cackle throughout my video to splurge. Because I had been nesting seqs in seqs for several weeks, it took me some time to understand the problem. But the solution was simple: copy and paste the audio of a seq in the other.

    In fact, I started to copy and paste other objects, such as securities with motion and basic 3D keyframe animation. I used to the opening on a coupl'a months ' value of the vlogs. Then, suddenly, as Pr decided me it was too complicated to make two consecutive uses of titles with keyframes and would diminish the rendering process - sometimes simply close the program without ceremony, other times my whole system crashing. There is no work around beyond the Cup titles. Even the creation of new titles didn't remove the bug.

    So, quick recap: February, system makes happy 12 seqs bunk with applied green screen effects. April, System renounce make audio from only 1 seq. nested August, System renounce making the titles of movement and the basic 3D keyframes.

    WTF?

    Currently, my partner was worried my tirades of Tarantino-esque regular to my system and suggested that maybe I should buy a better computer to manage the program. My characteristics up to that point it had been...

    * an Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz

    * 8 GB OF RAM

    * 1 TB hard drive

    * Windows 8.1

    .. .all of which reaches or exceeds the minimum system requirements, although I admit that they missed the Adobe certified GPU card. So, with the blessing of my partner, I went ahead and ordered a brand new system with...

    * a 3.4 GHz quad-core Intel i5

    * 12 GB OF RAM

    hard record to 2 TB 7200 RPM

    * a 2 GB Nvidia GeForce 840 has

    * Windows 10

    Surely Pr and I couldn't argue with me now?

    Well, this morning was my first attempt to start the system and give it a whirl. I had an hour to edit a video of 20 seconds, and things went quickly. Happy me. All I had to do was add a filter of brightness / contrast, and my video would be ready to return. So I open the reference monitor to check the wave shape of VC...

    .. .and it isn't here!

    In fact, none of the waveforms were there. The only options were composite video or alpha. I went online, search on Google for 'First Pro lack of waveform of the reference monitor' and found another post - very - forum where several users say they have suffered the same problem: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1699429. The first thing you notice when visiting this post is, of course, that the question is currently "not answered". No one seems to have found a workaround beyond several relocations that suddenly, inexplicably, solve the problem... for a few days. Then her resurfaced problem.

    Given that I had been using the VC waveform in my front reference monitor today, my answer to this would have been to recover this sword again. My brand new system occurred only because of the aforementioned need to move to another location at the end of an hour.

    For example, Adobe. Please can you tell me why you don't want me using your products more? And then you can pay back me for all the payments I've lost on creative cloud for this software still infuriating and hypocritical that makes extremely complex tasks, one day and crashes to simple tasks on the other?

    Or, better yet, you can fix these bugs and allow us to have an update that works? QBP?

    Yours hopefully...

    I'm Remover suggestion of Jim... these old drag & drop effects, THEN open the effect controls panel and fix things... uh, who is noticeably become outdated. Slow. And... limited.

    Use the workspace of color, with the controls on the right side of the screen, then select the left upper quadrant tab extended Lumetri...

    You will find much more capable of extensive and easy to use controls that blow the 'old' into oblivion.
