U2413, Audio sound coming from monitors the headphone jack.

I have audio noise from headphone monitor U2413 plug.  My setup includes the following: XPS 15 laptop computer connected to the monitor with DisplayPort cable and the last standard headphones to the monitor.  The noise sounds like the gain is all the way to the top.  I have no audio on the computer running and still hear static noise.  I hear the sound noise cut only when I disconnect the video cable.  I tried DisplayPort and HDMI cables and still the same result.  The two cables that I know are well insulated.  Is their environment in the monitor that should get rid of this noise?

The user's Guide, States on page 9,
"Audio Out = connect the mini stereo Jack sound bar.
«NOTE: use of the helmet is not supported for the line audio output connector.»

This port is designed to be used with the Dell soundbar speakers or some other speakers. You should connect your headphones to the audio output jack of the computer.

  • HP laptop - 15-ac158dx: squeaky sound coming from computer speakers, headphones are not affected

Earlier this week, I received and downloaded the latest update of Windows 10. It went smoothly as planned and everything seemed fine until yesterday, I started to experience a buzzing scratching of my laptop speakers. It was intermittent at first, and then it escalated. Some music and audio as dialogue and certain songs feels this scraping sound along the coast the audio ordinary much.

To test fade the cause is physical (speakers themselves) or software related (because of update) I did the following.

I tried what has been said in this issue; http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/HP-15-audio-crackles-unless-headphones-plugged-in/td-p/5....

I created a system on the laptop restore point and backup all data and uninstalled the audio drivers from the Device Manager and reinstalled.

It didn't work and now I'm assuming it's a physical problem with the speakers themselves. If this is the case, what should I do? A check appears to show that my warranty is still applicable; should I go with him?

Thanks for joining the HP Forums.
I'll be happy to help you

If I understand correctly the helmet function correctly, however, the speakers create excessive noise and in view of the fact that you have already reinstalled the drivers, tried a backup & restore, but the problem persists.

It is time you contact HP telephone support and get a repair service (free, because your computer is covered under HP warranty).

HP technical support are available by clicking on the following link:

    http://h22207.www2.HP.com/us-en/?openCLC=true

    (1) once the page opens, please select the country in which you are located. Then enter your model of HP on the right number.

    (2) then choose "Contact the Support" tab at the top and scroll to the bottom of the page "HP Support - contact" to fill out the form with your details.

    (3) Once finished, click the "Show Options" at the bottom right.

    (4) Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Get a phone number." A file number and telephone number will now fill for you.

If the information I provided was useful, give us some reinforcements by clicking on the solution and laurels, buttons that help and others see that we have the answers!

  • No sound coming out of the headphones, speakers only

    Hello!

I have an Inspiron N5050. For some reason when my headphones are plugged in, sound does not come from them, only the speakers.  The quality of the sound from the speakers is slightly different when it is plugged, so without a doubt, it recognizes that something is in the making.  I don't know if this has no relevance, but I listened earlier on my helmet and made a scan of AVG firewall pop up, and after completing the analysis, it has stopped working.

    Thanks for your help!

Hello. Start by using the system restore Windows (type in the search box system restore).

Then try to reinstall the audio driver IDT of the Inspiron N5050 downloads page, after selecting your operating system from the menu.

If still does not, it could be a hardware failure. Your model does not have a dedicated audio hardware diagnostic tool, but a couple are other tools that can help diagnose compare drivers and the system recovery.

  • Sounds coming from my headphones and speakers at the same time - Alienware M17x R4

I have a rather annoying thingy with my laptop. When I do something on my laptop where noise is involved ( play games , play music , etc. etc. ) and I have ear plugs / headphones inserted , the sound is coming out of both my speakers and my headset.I do not know how long I already have the problem, I discovered it today when I took my headphones off for a moment.

Do any of you know how I can fix this? So that if I insert my headphones , the sound just goes through the headphones and not through the speakers at the same time. I Googled for a while now but I cant find a way to solve it. (Im not a PCs / laptops expert)

Hello. Please post your problem again, because half of your text has been cut. You may need to type it instead of paste.

Try to switch to the native Windows audio driver.

    1. open Device Manager (found in the Control Panel, or type devmgmt.msc in the search box).
    2. develop the 'audio controllers, video & game' and right click on the Creative Labs Recon pilot.
3 Select this option to "Update driver software".
    4. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
    5. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".
    6. put the "Show compatible hardware" check box if not already checked.
    7. in the list of devices, click on 'High Definition Audio"(native driver).
    8. click on "next".
    9. in the update driver warning box, click 'Yes' (the driver).
10 restart the portable computer if you are prompted. If not invited, so no need to restart.
[To return to the Recon pilot, do it again but reverse steps 2-7 names].

If you have only the symptoms with one of the drivers, then the other is at fault. If you have the same symptoms with two audio drivers, then it is likely not a driver problem, maybe material.

    Hey,.

What OS is currently installed on your computer?

Is the headset itself works because you can listen to the sound with headphones so for now I doubt s a hardware problem

In any case, perhaps the problem is only linked to its driver and updated it could solve the problem in your case, I would check the Web from Toshiba site to download the latest version.

My computer has no sound coming from the speakers, but the headphone jack works fine. Can someone help me with this?

    Hi jbreezy,.

We recommend you to check if the speaker is defined as default playback on your computer device. To do this, try the following steps:
    a. right click on the sound/volume icon in the right corner of the task bar, then click on "adjust audio properties".
    b. click on the Volume tab, click Advanced under Speaker settings, select the speaker and click ok.
    c. click on the tab Audio, audio playback device, select default.
    d. click apply and then click ok.
    e. check if the problem persists.

  • No sound coming from my laptop

I have a laptop of HP2000... I have no sound coming from my speakers... can you please help?

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download the Realtek Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp64001-64500/sp64443.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, stop the laptop - it by holding down the button SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

Then disconnect the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the installation of Realtek Audio program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  Left click 'Speakers and headphones' (or speakers/HP) once to highlight and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

    Kind regards

    DP - K

  • Can I set up a surround sound 5.1 with the headphones?

Can I set up a surround sound 5.1 with the headphones? I plugged in the headphones, but it doesn't seem to work very well.

    Great Question!

The output on the laptop is 2.0, unless specified.

Most of the 5.1 headphones do a virual surround sound experience unless they require multiple entries mini-jack, optical or cajolées.

The only way to experience true 5.1 on a notebook computer is to have a 5.1 card internal (which is not included in the course HP laptop computers) or buy an external plug (USB or ExpressCard).

  • Helps the headphone jack!

    Welcome.

So about 4-5 months ago, I bought a brand new HP Pavilion PC g6.
A few months later (2-3) I started to have problems with the sound. Whenever I plugged the headphones, the sound would not come to her. First of all, I thought it was the helmet that I was using. It turns out that it wasn't. Then I thought it was something with audio players or anything else. (Control Panel-> hardware and sound-> manage audio devices). It turns out that it wasn't.

The problem started as my helmet is sound but cut wide in some places. I have to play with the headphone jack and move it a bit to get the sound. At that time, portable headphone plug was already loose. Then, for about 5-10 minutes, something really strange happened. His was no more. I couldn't not all the sounds if it was for my headphones or speakers of my laptop.

After about 10 minutes, the sound is back after a reboot. However, the sound was weird and glitch. I mean, is that whenever I plug in the headphones, 55% of the sound would come through them, but the other 45% would come out of my laptop speakerks.
Yet once again, I thought it was the helmet, but no. Even with multiple changes of helmet and try them on different computers, the headphones were great. I started thinking that it was the helmet being loose which caused all these problems. I started to look for solutions. I came across a post of aid for the same issue: being loose headphone jack.
Most of them said that if the helmet was not directly related to the motherboard, that the issue would be fixed easly.

    My question is:
    (1) how will I know if the headset is connected to the motherboard directly?
    (2) how can I fix the problem if;
    (a) it is directly connected.

    (b) if it is not connected to it directly.
    (3) the headphone plug is loose have EVERYTHING link to my sound works does not correctly.

Thank you and more information will be provided on request.

Additional information: I know that HP laptop computers have a 1 year warranty, however, how do I check for mine?

    Hi kamel.

    1. with the hardware problems, it is best to contact support for your options before going inside the laptop.

    2. If you notice that you are not covered by your phones warranty, if you provide me with your laptop model number, I'll see if there is a maintenance and service guide. (another workaround of the guarantee is to get a USB headset connected)

< How can I find my laptop model number >: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108

    3. Yes, he seems to have everything to do with the question.
