No horizontal keyboard using quicksearch.

When I use the quick search, I can't get one horizontal, other than the physical keyboard.  The screen won't go horizontally.  Orientation is checked in the settings.  I tried to restart.  It works in all the rest.  Is it the way it is supposed to be?  I thought I remembered using search with the virtual keyboard in a horizontal position.

Yes, exactly. He remains in portrait mode, unless I open the physical keyboard. Interesting that you were able to use the horizontal virtual keyboard in this application. I don't know if this has been documented before.

  • Satellite Pro A200: Wake up to the keyboard using a USB keyboard

    is it possible to turn on the laptop while keeping the lid closed using a USB keyboard. If Yes, what the key combination

    Hmmm I put t know if you can wake up the phone if the lid is closed, but as far as I know, it should be possible to wake the portable computer using a keyboard itself.

    Toshiba HWSetup is pre-installed with the Vista operating system. You will find in this tool an option called: wake on keyboard.

    This can be found in the keyboard tab, and you need to activate.
    In addition, please enable the USB Legacy support. This option is also in the HWSetup USB tab.

  • Why my keyboard used let me scroll to safe mode or boot from cd? And how to fix this?

    I use windows xp home eddition and when I start my computer it wont let me press F8 to enter safe mode menu. When I reset my computer that I can get to the screen where it allows you to choose to start in safe mode... but for some reason I can't scroll to the top to choose these options and I would love someone to help me with this problem. It's the same thing when I try to push any key to boot from the cd to reinstall windows. And Yes, I already had all of the malware, spyware off your computer. From my understanding virus like these will change settings! Any suggestions or answers to these Question are greatly appreciated!

    Hello

    1. did you connect the keyboard to a different USB port when you try to start in safe mode?

    There might be a possibility that there is not enough power generated in the USB port when you start your computer in safe mode. So, I suggest that you test the keyboard in another USB port.

  • Mouse and keyboard using derivation

    I bought a diversion so that I can use my keyboard and the mouse in another room. I use a PC Compaq Presario SR2038X Media Edition. My question is which PS/2 port on the back of my desktop PC I plug, mouse or keyboard? My PC supports this separator with 1 cable to carry both mouse and keyboard, if not what can I do?

    Thank you

    Wall-e, as far as I know, the separator should work.  Try plugging in the keyboard first, port if this does not work, change it around.  When connected properly, it may report the keyboard on the wrong port, or vice versa.

  • Noob question on uneven with sides horizontal arrangement using CSS containers

    I can easily make layouts css horizontal with container into the container when the parent container is a strip of equal height to the Summit on the attached example. I wonder how to provision low scratched on the example attached, which is the color of background with different heights. Usually, the bottom of the container in the middle is an image file and the sides are thoroughly with the image of html colors.

    I don't know if there are web sites with this provision, but if there I'd love to check out them and if there is a tutorial would be great.

    I hope I make sense

    differentHeightSides.jpg

    When the text size is increased in browsers, text will reverse the fixed size containers. Use height min instead of the height.

    I think that the best you can do is create two divisions side by side and add a margin-top to the container on the left side.  See my example built with not only a CSS grid system:

  • Need help with the horizontal navigation using < ul >

    Although I normally use tables, I read that it is better to use < ul > and < li > my site horizontal navigation bar.

    I have problems with spacing, I want each item in the navigation bar to fit in one area of 166 width.

    Here is my CSS:

    {#ul.navbar}
    list-style-type: none;
    make-weight: bold;
    background-image: url (.. / images/166bar.gif);
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    Width: 100%;
    }
    #ul.navbar li {}
    margin: 0px 20px 10px 20px;
    list-style: none;
    }
    #ul.navbar a {}
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    How can ensure me that each element of the horizontal navigation bar is in the center of the box? Can any recommend a good tutorial or an example?

    http://ALT-Web.com/demos/CSS-menus.shtml

    Change

    text-align: left

    TO

    text-align: center

    I want each item in the navigation bar to fit in one area of 166 width.

    In this case, you must use tables, images, or the vertical list menu.

  • PC/tablet-is there a laboratory touchscreen top that works on windows 7 / 8, where the screen can detach the keyboard to use in the form of tablets, or screen can be reached for keyboard vertically or horizontally?

    Labtop / Tablet question -I'm shopping for a new Labtop.    Is there a laboratory touchscreen top that works on windows 7 / 8, where the screen can detach the keyboard used in the form of tablets and then transformed (with long vertical side) and attached to the keyboard to type a length full page (8.5 x 11 page) and then returned (long horizontal side) one attached to the keyboard (to be used as a stand) for a movie with all the features of present characteristics of a top laboratory such as 4 to 8 GB memory and a 500 GB hard drive (perhaps as part of the screen or connected to / through the keyboard, if it is used as a docking station)?

    It seems with all the technology of the tablet on the market that Microsoft or somebody would do something like that now.  Can someone help me? Thank you

    -Scott M

    PS: My wife has an ASUS transformer where the screen detaches from the keyboard, so it can be used in the form of tablets.  When it is attached to the keyboard, the keyboard acts as a stand to sit on the counter for watching movies.  And then the keyboard and the screen can fold them together, so when it is closed there is a stand-alone case. This, however, runs the Android operating system.  Basically, I want this same design (for the potability in a Briefcase), but with it running Microsoft Windows so it can be used as any other labtop.  It the keyboard could have a number pad are associated with, that would be a bonus.

    Hi pr-e-s,.

    You can check with asus.

  • A ps2 keyboard convert USB simply using an adapter?

    Toshiba, Win XP Pro, ps2 Mitsumi external laptop keyboard. I want to use this keyboard in addition to the internal keyboard. Will it work simply by using a USB adapter or do I have to do something else? My laptop has no PS/2 port.

    Only if it has been designed for a.  The all-new (as still in its original packaging, but not really NEW) Mitsumi keyboards I've seen are designed according to DIN (aka AT) and sheets mini-DIN (aka PS/2) and do not come with an adapter.  They precede the widespread use of USB.  Later keyboards use the lower signal levels and are designed with adapters of connection to hot and passive in mind.

    As above, most of the adapters are passive and only connect PS/2 cables to equivalent USB contacts.  What you really need is a PS/2 to USB converter that has an integrated circuit (IC) that makes active signal conversion, I know the IOGear GUC10KM ($19,95 USD MSRP) is such a device, but I've never used.  TigerDirect/CompUSA sells it for $15.99.

    (No, I do not work for IOGear or TigerDirect/CompUSA.  "They have just the best deal today.)

  • Horizontal touch screen keyboard

    I got this phone in mid November and it has three keyboard options. The vertical touch screen, slide-out keyboard and keyboard horizontal touchscreen keyboard. I don't know if it's just my phone or what, but when I turn the phone horizontally I don't have a horizontal keyboard. I know they changed need to slide the keyboard in order to obtain a horizontal screen at home. The horizontal keyboard has been eliminated in this same update? If that's the case, then, I am extremely disappointed

    It is certainly not what it is supposed to do. Other than the home screen and the screens of the appeal, it should run horizontally even with the keyboard closed.

    Check the menu under sound & Display settings. If you scroll to the bottom, is the box under orientation verified?
