No internet connection constantly.

IV has a portable computer that is connected via my router wireless, never had a problem with it, but in the last few months I changed my provider and now it wont connect via radio and have had have connected it via the ethernet cable, first, it was fine but the last month has been a nightmare, now it doesn't always connect im constantly resetting.

Today, that says my laptop connected to the internet, but when I try to go on programs requiring my password it will not and says that it is not connected to the internet but it is!. When I rang sky up, which is my provider, they suggested, I changed the channel I was, as was probably getting interference from other routers. Clearly, this had not worked. No matter what coz of suggestions, that I don't really know that much about computers thanks

Only when I plug in a device to load the fact so disrupt the router's Internet connection. As expected, the devices to begin with iCloud download when they are connected to the load.

I tried 3 different routers and you experience this problem on all of them. As soon as the device (iPhone or iPad) tries to download to iCloud, the Internet stops almost completely. I can ping from a laptop ethernet-cable-connected, but it is extremely slow and cut in half the packages. So I just got my new HP Pavilion 15 t-e000 CTO Notebook PC last week, it runs Windows 8 & amp; It is a 64-bit.

The only problem I've had is to stay connected to my wireless Internet. The connection stops at random intervals saying 'Limited' instead of 'connected '. I have to constantly disconnect and connect to my WiFi. It's particularly frustrating when I am trying to download something that lasts longer than a few minutes because the Internet connection cuts, and I have to start the process.

I tried pretty much every "difficulty" people have posted that worked for some people. No luck for me. Sometimes it seems that he will stay connected and then I try to connect to a web page or download something and it turns off again.

Didn't WORK * update: if I run the connection test network via the HP help/support on my desk Center, while the connection says Limited, I get the notice that the 'default gateway was not available"and the router has been handed over to zero and issue fixed, etc. BUT if I run the test, while the connected said wireless, the test still says there is no problem. And although the test 'fixed' the issue, it does not because the Internet always cut again.

Therefore, it seems that my problem with the limited Internet connection has been resolved. I didn't use my computer for two days and this afternoon, when I turned it on I was still having problems. However, I went to the HP Support Assistant, and it appeared that I had a few updates to download and install, so I let him do his thing. It took awhile because the Internet kept cutting out, but once the update for the wireless Intel have finally set, my connection is REMAINING CONNECTED. Finally!

I don't know why when I went into the properties wireless it says "device working properly ' and when I tried to update the driver it says"your driver is the latest version"or something else.

I suggest you just go to the HP Support Assistant and updates in the section "Updates and the updates of". It was a bit random, but touch wood my looks of problem connecting wireless to be gone.

    Hope this helps

I have a Sony VAIO laptop that came with Vista 32 bit and went from 7 Home Premium 32 bit.  I connect to the internet via my Ethernet via a DSL modem with no problems.  When I try to use the edge Intel 4965AGN wireless to connect to my DLink 655 Wireless N Gigabit router, it appears that it connects to the network, but there is no internet connection.  Both the router and the edge Intel have the latest drivers and the encryption is set on AES, WPA2-Personal.  Some additional information:

I have desktop computer Dell with a DLink USB WiFi and it connects to the network and gets internet

I constantly get the message from Windows saying: Windows has detected an IP address conflict with another computer on the network.  I restarted the router several times to no effect.

I have a WRT54G V8 router, who is 18 months old. Its used by 3 laptops to connect to the Internet (Wi - Fi all). All 3 laptops unable to connect all of a sudden. Steps are taken to solve the problems, still no luck. Please suggest if something else can be done.

    1. first test was to remove the router and connect a computer directly to the modem via a LAN comcast cable. Internet is available

    2. I have hard reset the router and configured again. No luck

    4. I can see the available signal and connect to the network, but not internet connection. I see the cell as shown (all dynamic) IP address obtaining

    6. removed the WEP security, does not

I have no other options left. I've seen a similar thread here (http://forums.linksys.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Routers&message.id=2288), but no response. Please suggest what to do next.

Okey, I finally found the problem. His Modem.

Router is not able to get the IP address of the modem if the modem is started first and then I plug the internet cable to the router. But if I keep the router and modem connected and then reset the modem while keeping the router powered on, the router receives an IP address.

And in both cases, if I connect the laptop with the modem directly, computer laptop can connect to the Internet.

I bought a new router (WRT54G2) thinks that the problem is with the router, and I can reproduce the same behavior with both routers constantly.

  • intermittent internet connection of HP pavilion x 2

    Hello

I bought a x 2 Pavilion 11.6 "2 in 1 15 days ago and I am constantly thrown out of my internet to explore link (says I have no internet connection) despite the internet access the bars showing the complete connection. My ISP is Virgin.  My old PC that runs windows 7 and new HP daughter divided x 2 13 '' who is running windows 8.1 that connect well to the router at my house and my new links pavillion x 2 fine for the interntet via wifi at home and work without any problem.

I tried to re-creation of my router several times and this solved the problem for about a minute at best.  We bought two laptops through Curry but they refuse to come to the House to make a configuration despite offering to pay for the service and they say that there is no fault woth the PC because it works in some places.

Sometimes to investigate the question of nework arrives with a (999) network connectivity problem, sometimes he said to re - configure the router/modem - but as stated earlier, this only solves the problem for a very short time as HP performs automatice reapirs - (reset the "IntelR wireless-N 7260" adapter) which lasts about a minute.

After having spent £429 on this beautiful piece of equipment please can someone help me to get my emails and the internet?

    Following my message of origin above;

    2 in 1 is a HP Pavilion x 2 11-hoo3sa 11.6 "F4T44EA #ABU

I've updated the media tek 802.11 wireless LAN adaper pilot.  He advised to remove the previous Chuck but I did not do what was not sure where to locate it - is this possible now?  I had already updated the network wireless driver intel 7260 (who had made no difference) there are two other di network = River updates, but they do not seem to be related to my problem, so I did not download them.  I did have the chance to try the new driver but I have to go elsewhere to access the internet to communicate with you all.  If I assign a fixed address as suggested before that would mean that it does not connect when I'm anywhere else?

I'm a pretty confident user of PC - the technical stuff moved from my comfort zone, but will try to follow the instructions.

    Help, please

I had the same problem of intermittent WIFI connectivity, but only on an old router on holiday in Spain.  Everything works very well at home in the United Kingdom.  My flag is fully patched for drivers and windows 8.1.  I just couldn't connect to the router for more than one minute at best.

the difficulty is to force the WIFI card to use the old WIFI Protocol:

    Device Manager-> network adapters-> Realtek RTL8188EE 801.11b/g/n-> properties-> advanced-> Wireless WiFi adapter is IEEE 802. 11 b

probably because that HP haven written their system software successfully to detect old routers that supported the old protocols... like millions of people around the world use every day...

  • With Internet connection sharing common data corruption

I encounter the corruption of common data on all the machines on my network other than the host with ICS enabled on my connection by modem. Websites is scrambled characters, blocks and streaks everywhere are images, encrypted connections constantly throw error SSL and downloads fail are for control. The internet is virtually unusable on any of the computers on my network sharing the connection (a former windows xp box and my macbook pro). Everything works fine on the host machine however.

I tried ICS with a clean install of Windows 7 and Vista SP2 - both suffer from the same problem. I tested with a 3g modem to dialup being the issue, and it has exactly the same problem with ICS. If I boot Windows XP Pro SP3 on the host computer and use it to ICS there is no data corruption, and everything works fine on machines in the network.

The only thing that I could find the research was this thread with a few others encounter the same problem and no solution: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/235878-44-random-data-corruption

No third-party firewalls or anti-virus software. Tried with and without the Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials - no different.

    Hi Janpingel,

If the ICS works correctly with broadband, then there is a problem with the package with your dial-up access. You can test with another dial-up connection to see if the problem persists.

  • Internet connection always drops

I have a new laptop running Windows 7 HP.  I have Time Warner Cable.  I keep losing my Internet connection, but 5 bars indicate that I have an excellent internet connection.  The Trouble Shooter says he can find "without problems."  Any suggestions or solutions?

    Hello

Thank you for the question to Microsoft Community. I'll give my best to help you.

Description number, I understand this wireless connection constantly dropping.

To better understand the issue, answer the following questions.

1 did you changes to the computer before the show?

2 are you facing this issue from the day 1, you use windows 7?

    3. What is the number of the model of the computer?

You can perform the methods suggested below and check if they will help you solve the problem.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software on the computer and check.

    Disable the anti-virus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Check the suggestions from the following link and check to see if they help.

Method 3: Battery reset TCP/IP and check.

Re: How to keep creative Cloud working without Internet access?

  • CC Test version significantly slows the computer & internet connectivity

I downloaded Adobe CC as a trial version not so long ago, and since then my computer has slowed down considerably.

Most affected is my internet connection, it's ridiculously slow even when I close all applications. This makes him send a simple email difficult.

(I even tried to delete all programs except for Lightroom and Photoshop)

    Y at - it a setting I can change?

Applications run constantly in the background, "opacifications around" and checking the update etc.?

    Any other suggestions?

I really need to subscribe to Adobe CC once my testversion runs, but obviously I can't if this problem persists.

Vanessav7521346 Adobe Creative applications are installed on your local computer.  If you fear that installation of Photoshop and Lightroom have affected your system performance and Internet connection so I recommend you to remove applications.  If this downturn is resolved, you can then reinstall each application to determine that can affect your computer.  You can find more details about the process of uninstallation and installation to Creative Cloud help | Download, install, update or uninstall applications.  We invite you to update this discussion if you have any questions about the installation and uninstallation process.

Check the "hosts" adobe entered into file. If you see entries adobe here follow the below mentioned steps.

    1. go to the location of the file "Hosts".

    WIN: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

MAC: Go to the menu finder on top > go to files > type '/ etc', press return.

    2. move the file hosts on the desktop.

    3. open.

    WIN: Open it with Notepad.

    MAC: double click on it.

4 remove all entries of adobe, that it does not obstruct your machine to connect to the Adobe's Activation Server.

    5. rear move "/ etc" folder.

    Solution # 2

    1. check if you are using any kind of firewall (network/system) / proxy.

    2. turn off firewall / proxy.

    #3 solution (should work)

    Go to deployment: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html.
