No job no - LaserJet CP1025

I use a LaserJet CP1025, USB connection with an iMac (OSX 10.6.4 I get a message that 'work not required' when I try to print, and nothing happens. I rebooted the printer software (and the upgrade too) but it did not help. Anyone know what to do next? Thank you

    2. Pull out the power cord from the printer.
    3. Pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. Plug everything back in and turn on the printer.

    If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer.

    I have a laserjet cp1025 and have run it on different versions of Linux mint and never had a problem to install hplip site. However, I upgraded to Mint 18 and when I try to install I get an error message saying that Mint 18 is not supported.

    Any ideasof how this be corrected?

    Install the base driver. Base driver HP LaserJet CP1025.

  • LaserJet CP1025 Color - PC system tray stops working whenever I have send a doc to the printer.

    LaserJet CP1025 colour connected via direct USB for WINDOWS Vista 32-bit. I have the latest drivers, applications, and firmware for the printer, but the system tray stops working whenever I print a document. I tried this on Windows 7 via USB and get the same problem. Why does this happen?  I have another printer connected to the PC and I deleted all other HP drivers so that they don't interfere with the laserjet.

    I understand that you have a problem of partial print job when you use your HP LaserJet Pro CP1025 colour printer.  I would like to help.

    First of all, I recommend to run you HP and Scan Doctor for Windows printing.  You can click here to install it.  This utility can find and fix what is sick of your configuration.  In addition, if this approach does not help, I suggest to work your way through the steps listed in this article from HP.  She is expected to rule out possible problems of print queue.  Finally, it won't hurt to empty your temporary files, as explained below:

    Clear the Temp folder:

    1. Open your Start menu and in the box "search programs and files", type %temp% , and then press enter.
    2. When the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard
    3. Once everything is highlighted in the Temp folder select "delete" on your keyboard to delete the files in the Temp folder. No files and folders on your computer will be deleted. This only deletes temporary files. If a file is always be used by a program on your computer, you'll be up the pop to 'jump' the item.
    4. Once the temporary files are deleted to close the window
    5. On your desktop, right click on the recycling bin and select empty recycling bin
