  I just bought a HP Deskjet 2540 all-in-one printer. Everything seems to work ok capsule apart from my inability to print manual duplex. In the "printing options", it says clearly "Print double-sided", but this does not happen.   My apologies, to double check, I see that your Deskjet 2540 printing on both sides manually option is the tab layout when you click Preferences in the dialog box print not under the Advanced menu.
