Hello:

The first pilot, you'll need to install is the Chipset driver. Install this first and then restart. This should get rid of a couple lack of devices.

This should be the driver for your wireless card:

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-70744-1&LC=en&DLC=en&CC=US&OS=2093&Product=3938325&sw_lang=

This should be the driver for your modem:

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-62609-1&LC=en&DLC=en&CC=US&OS=2093&Product=3938325&sw_lang=

I think that they should fix you up. These are the 32-bit drivers. If you need 64-bit drivers please come back and I'll givr you the links for those instead.

Please post back with your results.

Looks like a good assumption for me! 8 ^) my guess is that the FnF3 combo was matched inadvertently by the fingers occupied during or at the time Win10 was installed. Seriously, this special key combination switches can sometimes be handy if you want to stop or otherwise prevent an online process to start. Also note the use of the icons printed on the top row F keys - they also work in combination with the function Fn key to switch other devices on an off, as speaker, touchpad, screen, switch to an external monitor, etc. Good luck - Jack E/NJ

  • My wireless home does not appear on as a network available on my work laptop and always did before.

My wireless home does not appear on as a network available on my work laptop and always did before.  He brings up and connect on my laptop. I have a Linksys broadband router - summer use it for at least two years with no problems until this.  I know that my wireless works on my laptop because there is an unsecured network listed in the available window.

A really strange thing that happened two weeks ago (and I don't know if it's related) was my personal laptop was fine during several hours - then he kept abandonment of the internet connection.  I couldn't keep him connected - reboot etc didn't work.  I've not logged again until today - and that's what I use now.  He connected very well today.

My work laptop had been connected to my wireless ealier in the week, but when I tried to connect as usual Thursday night he has not logged automatically as it has always done in the past.  Nothing has changed.  Security patches that my company had sent through this week have not downloaded until after that I tried to connect and couldn't.  There is nothing new - he had no reason to think I should not have automatically connected as I have in the past.

    Hi suemoo,

-What version of service pack of Windows XP you are using?

This problem occurs because the media connect action is not sent to the wireless service correctly.

Method 1: Disable and then enable the wireless network adapter and check if it helps fix the problem.

  • X 200 wireless problem - detects available networks, but cannot connect to them.

    Hi all

I have a weird and annoying problem. My X 200 can detect wireless networks but refuses to connecto to them.

It's a brand new computer that I just received.

    Some info:

    ThinkPad X 200 7454-2HU, running Vista x 64.

Downloaded latest drivers installed, all using the autopilot to Lenovo download application.

The driver has detected in the Device Manager is: Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN.

There is no problem with the wireless network (the other computers connect to it without any problems).

I tried to cancel the option "n", leaving a "b/g", but it did not help.

It is problematic that only one device in Device Manager, and it's "Controller of Bus SM" (cannot understand what it is and update windows or Lenovo update does not solve this problem).

When I use "Intel ProSet/Wireless Tools" diagnose, I get:

Test equipment: managed (wireless hardware is enabled)

Pilotass. Driver is loaded. NET w5v64 Versio: 12.0.0.82

Radio test: past. The radio is on.

Scan Testass. There are 12 networks available to connect.

    Association test: failed. No partner.

When I look at the statistics, it seems that the card receives bytes (nothing is sent).

What do you think? Is it a hardware problem or software?

No idea what can be done if it is a software problem?

  • WRT610N - no network is available on the Windows XP laptops

Just installed a WRT610N router and I'm typing this from my wireless MacBook and everything seems to work properly.

However, I can not detect with two other laptop Windows XP network available. The two bands of SSID is enabled.

The two bands are on 'auto radio bands' and 'mixed network mode ". I suspect a setting (not) to be checked / changed. 5.0 GHz band is WPA and WEP is 2.4 GHz band. I could at least see / detect one of the strips?

I can work wireless after working cables. Somehow, the parameters are downloaded in this way. I have installed all the drivers which always however on two laptop. Does anyone know how to detect the wireless network and how to automatically connect to it? Thank you

    OK, problem solved:

    -Both bands: mixed

    -Both bands: 20 Hz

    -only one channel per band

    -SSID: enabled

    - and LELA UNINSTALLED.

  • WPC55AG sees not available networks

Hello...  I have a 2nd computer Dell laptop, Win XP Pro SP2 at hand. Provided with a 1.2 WPC55AG ver adapter, driver see 3.3.0.25, no installation CD... has a profile for my own point of access - modem ActionTec GT704WG DSL - which connects very well.  However, the site survey shows no network available when it is connected to the GT704WG and shows no network available when you're on unsecured linksys wireless routers, as in an internet café.  so far, have found no answer on the linksys website, ideas?  Thank you...

Like the Linksys drivers are already installed on your computer. In the taskbar find you the Linksys WIFI monitor, then right-click on it and select "Use Windows XP Setup" and click Yes. Yet once the taskbar you will find the "Wireless network connection" icon, right-click on it and select 'view available wireless network' check if you are able to locate your wireless network, select it and click Connect, when you are prompted for the network key, type your security key and click connected. Once connected to your network check, if you are able to browse the internet on your computer.

Someone knows how to fix this?

    Hi Mattcreatr,

1 can connect to the router with other machines?

    Step 1:

Make sure you have the latest NETWORK adapter drivers installed.

Also, see if there is a software that goes along with the drivers.  If so, get the latest version of this as well.

    Update drivers: recommended links

    Step 2;

Also, see if there is a software that goes along with the drivers.  If so, download the recent plus version and that as well.

Also, make sure that the wireless adapter is turned on.

    a. Click Start, type network and sharing in the search box Center start and press ENTER.

    b. click on change adapter settings.

    c. right click on the connection, and then select activate.

    Step 3:

Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a restore point where you do not experience the problem and check.

Start your computer in safe mode

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

  • WLC 5 GHz active SSID not visible in the available networks

We use WLC 2504 with 2 AIR-CAP2702I-D-K9Access Points. I am facing a problem of slow performance with customers active wifi (Macbook Pro). As all the clients that we use are computers laptops Macbook Pro who takes supported 802.11ac, I created a new WLAN (SSID) with Radio 802 11 a only to force all laptops to use the 5 Ghz band to check that it makes the difference. The SSID is not visible as a network available on the client if the radio SSID is set to "802. 11 a only"if it is marked to broadcast the ssid. '802.11ac' is also enabled in the network "802.11a/n/ac" categories of wireless.

That means my Access Points do not support the 802.11ac?

Yes, the Country is set to US which is not correct, Does it make any difference?
As Leo does, that's the problem. Configure the appropriate country code where this access point works (appropriately by the detail of the AP, India). • Networks not available in Org vDC

    Hello colleagues!

Please help me - I have a problem with the networking in vCloud Director.

When I try to specify grouping of network when creating organization vDC, it shows the empty box

    http://i25.fastpic.ru/big/2011/0710/09/1841786f90e450b195cba83462e66109.jpg

I created pool network before, but it is not available in this dialog box.

Also I see some strange things: when I created provider VDC and pool network selected, it shows me all the available networks

When I created the pool - he also showed me that this provider VDC has not all available networks

    http://i25.fastpic.ru/big/2011/0710/51/56e150dde7c372ab201f49ae897e0b51.jpg

So I try to create the network of the Organization, and even once it does show me all available pools

    http://i25.fastpic.ru/big/2011/0710/e1/223a2429eaecc72ee864be3cbf7f0be1.jpg

However, when I uncheck the box, it shows me my stock of network and I managed to select. But when I go inside the Organization and try to create TIME here, I see no network available

When I try to create the network here, it says me that "vDC for the VAPP doesn't have network resourses.

    http://i25.fastpic.ru/big/2011/0710/62/05c00372b3aec5dcd2b563ab0747f162.jpg

And TIME does not start with error "associated with this paralytic vDC is not required network resourses.

I have read in vCloud admin guide - "you can deselect use networks accessible only by the organization check box to display the outside networks and network pools which are not currently available from in the Organization through its organizing committees."

But please give me any idea - why network pool cannot be available for the VCC org?

    What should I check first?

(The connection of the VCD to vCenter and vShield manager was a success, VCD agent is properly installed on the host computer. Data store is visible).

    Thanks for any idea!

First screenshot shows you have no network at all pool, either you have a pool of network, but it is not available for the selected provider VDC. For example, if you create a VIRTUAL LAN or network supported by VCDNI pool, then the vdSwitch for the pool of network must be accessible by the servers of the provider VDC you selected for org VDC.

  • iMac ceases to recognize WiFi networks at random

In recent weeks, our iMAC ceased to recognize WiFi networks at random.  We will use Safari or Chrome and suddenly the taskbar will specify "resolving host" and internet connection will be lost.  Within 2-3 minutes, all the WiFi networks that were previously seen in Network preferences will disappear.  If restart us the iMAC, the WiFi network will work very well for 15-30 minutes, then it will be happening everywhere.  It is frustrating to have to restart the Mac frequently! What is also very ironic, is that when WiFi networks disappear for the iMac, our iPhones (2), the iPad and laptops (Dell and HP) always recognize wifi networks. Spoke to the Apple support and made us go to El Capitan, instead to call again, I thought that I would try this community.

Here is our contact information for operating system and the actions we have taken so far.  Would be grateful to anyone who helps solve this problem.

    Operational details:

    • El Capitan - OS10.11.5
    • iMac (27-inch, mid 2010)
    • 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3
    • Processor: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
    • 807 GB 1 TB storage is free
    • 2 WiFi networks available through DirectTV / AT & T 2.4 G with 5.0 G available
    • I don't have an Ethernet cable plug near this iMac

When he saw this problem, I tried the following solution:

    • Reboot, obviously works but annoying and not a systemic solution
    • Network preferences > > turn off WiFi and then turn it back on
    • Create the new location and reconnect to WiFi networks
    • Previously on Yosemite and recently upgraded to El Capitan, did not work
    • Remove the preferences.plist, the network.identification.plist, the message files - draw .plist hoping to empty cache network
    • DHCP has changed IP manual and additional figures added to the final figure of IP address on the IP address of my iPhone
    • Changed automatic DNS server to direct DNS server from Google
    • Renewed DHCP lease

No chance until then wouldn't like anyone's support there!

  • Omen of HP 15: Wifi stop working. Win10 shows only a single network and it connects to the WiFi

    Hi guys,.
Since a few days my wifi stopped working.
If I click the Wifi icon it shows only a SINGLE NETWORK (two maximum), but not mine!

And I live in a building of 20 + networks, as you can see on the WiFi Analyzer (I'm the only red to the right)

If I reactive / disable Wifi with fn + f12, it goes back in plane and Wifi mode mode and sees it eventually all networks:

My Wifi is on top. If it is registered, Windows connects to it and then she abandons the connection; If it is not registered, and I try to connect, it says "you are not able to connect to this network.
Is fun is that after a few seconds, each network disappears and alone is shown (probably the one next door... I don't know).

I already tried to RESET the laptop MATERIAL by keeping the power button for 10-15 seconds with the laptop is turned off.
I tried to follow these instructions (http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04649175) updated drivers (Intel 18.12.0.3, 18.12.1.2, 18.30.0.9 [10 default Windows], 18.32.0 [last drivers]) without success. Whenever I have install a new driver, I uninstalled the earlier software Wireless + restart.

I tried to uncheked "allow this computer to turn off this device to save power" on my settings of Wifi hardware without success.

HP network support said that I did not choose a Wifi (really? The problem is that I do not see my Wifi on the list!).

This is unrelated to a new 10 Windows upgrade since I installed it months ago and this is the first time I have this problem :/ It has always worked

    I tried different settings too:
I changed the channel, I put 802.11 g on my router, APSD off on the router.
I put "Magic off packet, QoS ad hoc off, U-APSD off, fat wide channel, differential flow mode HT off" on the creation of the map without success. Nothing chaned.

The hardware test detects any failure.

Important note: If I close the router, it shows my network connection with full power and he connects to it. Then I come back in my room (probably 3/4 meters away), it MAINTAINS the connection for 30 / 40 min and he drops the connection and I cannot reconnect to it more. It has always worked perfectly in my room during these months (I bought it in March 2015), so the distance is not a problem, I'm 6 / 7 m away from the router.
In this case, it shows my network (connected) and the nearby... and the other 20 networks +?

The only way I have is USB tethering with my Nexus 5.

Linux: I tried the WiFi on Freya elementary (Ubuntu linux OS base) and it displays 20 + networks available on the list. He has not the connection problem with my Wifi, but sometimes it stops working, Web pages stop loading and I have to restart Wifi to reconnect to the it (usually after 30/40 min of use it).

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is the problem? My Wifi card is broken? Should I call Italian support or if you have any suggestions?

    WAWood,
    I took a risk.
I did a factory restore with recovery HP (I have a drive dedicated for her)... and it worked!
I had to switch from Win8.1 to 10, but the Wifi problem is solved!

I'm still guessing that was the problem...

Now, I'm under Intel drivers 18.30.0.9 worm and all the networks work.

In the next few days I'm checking the linux problem (reset deleted primary partition).
