• C7280 all in one has two scanning options and has no option for scanning to e-mail. He is used to.

  Assuming that I understand your intention, while clicking Scan on the front panel of the printer, and then clicking on computers, only one option appears, am I right?

  Forums, open the HP Solution Center software and click on the settings button.

  In the selection of the Section Scan "Scan to... Setup '.

  In the left pane to select the scan shortcuts required and click on add or the arrow button to move it to the right pane.

  Once all required option listed as available in the right pane, click Refresh the device.

  That should restore this option in the front panel.

  Things used to be so easy... I installed the 4630 and I downloaded the latest drivers that not give me a scan approx. However where not it shows me where I can configure scanning documents face 2.

  Assuming that you have Mac OS X 10.9 or a later version, install the HP Easty Scan application:

  Click the Presets menu and select change settings, then set the Scan Type under the side, the Source in the automatic document feeder and check the box Scan front and back.

  I uninstalled Spyware Doctor (when I had Vista) but it still appears when I right-click on any program (now that I installed W7).  I was hoping it would be like by magic, erase, but no.  I have a screenshot of what I mean.  Can someone tell me how to get rid of any trace of it?  I used Reg Edit (the Windows registry editor) and deleted the file from PC Tools, but it always appears as one of the actions to be done.  TM

  You can run RevoUninstaller, passing through your registry database and remove all traces of the program. Or a registry cleaner in CCleaner.

  Scan resolution can be changed from the device as well. Please see the following steps

  Insert the card into the printer (wait printer reads the card)

  Select Scan > scan to memory device > settings > change the resolution and other options

• HP Envy 5532: No option to scan the document and save it as a pdf from the computer updated for Windows 10

  My computer updated 'Windows 10' I don't seem to have the ability to save a scanned as pdf document. The drop down menu does not give me option pdf.

  The default setting is 'photo' and there is no option to scan multiple pages into a single document. It's really annoying because it was fine before and I do not know how to change the settings or even if it can be changed.

  If you have not done so, remove the existing printer software, download and install the full feature software.

  HOPE TO HEAR SOME ADVICE PLEASE :)

  1) go in your user library folder (~ / library). Hold down the option/alt key while accessing the menu Finder go.

  2) go to the calendar folder

  (3) delete all files that say "cache" (replace the your desktop in the case where you want to move them at least)

  (4) always in the user library folder, go to the Preferences folder

  (5) delete the com.apple.calendar.plist (on the desktop again)

  (6) restart your computer

• "Scan to computer" the printer only works for admins

  HP Officejet 6700, OS X Lion. Latest version of the software.

  Only admin users can scan the printer using the screen touch "Scan to Computer".  The non-admin users get communication errors. The computer is listed and after choosing works very well if the admin user is the active connection. But if a standard user is the current user, then it does not work. Scanning HP utility does not connect on the standard user account to "Activate the Scan of the computer". That translates into a communication error. But return to the admin, and it connects.

  Surely, it works in a context of user multi for non-admins. Do the other admin users is not an option.

  Standard users can use the HP scanning app on the computer, but the family loves the conveinence of the button "Scan of the computer. Its a nice feature. But seems broken.

  Fixed it! I just needed you to give me advice in the right direction. File on the file plist property seemed incorrect, so I changed to match the other hp plist file:

  He now works in any account. Possible sound when I tried to fix my problem of no printing in January, one of the suggestions involved edit this file plist for HP Device monitor has not started, because it has been reported to cause problems in the past. Too bad repair disk permissions did not catch it. Thank you very much. Scan of the computer is a nice feature. (Although, the constant polling of devices HP monitor I see in the activity monitor always makes me nervous.)

  You have a windows PC?

  I would double check and make sure that the software is installed correctly and make sure that you connect to the printer with the USB or wireless.

  It seems that you have not yet activated the printer for the MAC.

  Normally, you can choose the option to scan a document in the Panel, and then you have another screen where contrast you where able to choose the DPI...

  But, as you can see, now after an update, the option "Analyze a document" is part...

  I can still ride to scan to the right of the printer, but I can't work with the contrast and other things, which is neccesairly for me.

  So, if someone could tell me why it was deleted, or where I can find the options again?

  1. first of all uninstall the software

  • Click on start button, then go to programs > HP > Photosmart 5510 and click on Uninstall.

   

  2. then go to Control Panel > programs and features

  • Photosmart 5510 -click and then click on Uninstall option

  3. then download the software on the HP web:

  •  Photosmart HP 5510 - drivers and full software features - Windows 7 64 bit

  4 and install with the downloaded software.
