No Option to play the WAV file.

Hi, I searched but I can't find an answer. I installed LR CC 2015 on a new PC running Windows 8 and imported my images and catalog, but it seems to have lost the ability to read WAV my sidecar files. The file is visible as being present, but there is no option to actually play. I hope someone can help!

In the metadata pane, y at - it a right arrow next to sidecar .wav?

What happens when you click the arrow?

If the arrow is not visible, or it does not play, check that the .wav is actually playable outside of LR.  In the library grid view, click on the corresponding picture and select view in the browser.  Navigate to the .wav file and double-click top - he plays from the file Explorer?

  • I can really play a WAV file, that I have loaded on my Clip +?

    Hello, I can't tell clients and/or manuals if the WAV files are supported and can play on my new Clip +. I load a wav file, but I can't seem to play. I went to the folder view and tried to play, but nothing happened. Is picked up, and, if so, do I have to follow a specific convention to name the file?

    I know it is a great MP3 player, but I have a specific need to play WAV files.  We strive to save a band on a small portable recorder (Zoom H2) and I would like to insert the card in the Clip + to leave the band and others hear recording (rather than reading on the Zoom - it wears the batteries).  We would use a micro SDHC with adapter for Zoom.  We will not have a laptop to help and there is no stereo system to play something on - for those who are not options.

    Any advice would be much appreciated.  It's our very first MP3 player, and pilot error is very likely.

    Thank you.

    I received the following information from Edward Mariano to SanDisk support:

    The Sansa Clip + saves files as. WAV files and would be able to play on the player. However. WAV files that are transferred to the Sansa from a different source player would not work. The Clip + does not support. WAV files originating from a different source.

    Hi DaleRuss,

    Yes, there are 3rd party codecs available and can solve the problem. Be carefully what (x) you download from.

    NOTE: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. • Problem with redirect after save the wav file

    I have a photo booth / audio that we created with flash that take a photo and record then it records audio testimony and records it.  My problem is that, once the wav file is saved, I want to redirect them to a thank you page but can't seem to find a way to do it.  Here is the code that I use to manage the registration of the wav file.

    private void recordComplete(e:Event):void

    {

    var request: URLRequest = new URLRequest ("save - file.php '");

    var loader: URLLoader = new URLLoader();

    request.contentType = ' application/octet-stream ";

    Request.Method = URLRequestMethod.POST;

    Request.Data = recorder.output;

    Loader.Load (request);

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest (redirectPath), "_self")

    }

    I tried to add the navigateToURL at the end and it sends to this page correctly, but the wav file is not saved.  I was wondering if there was a way to determine that the file is saved and then redirect to a thank you page?

    Thanks in advance!
