No response when I click on synchronize.

Hello. I'm new in the world of 'sync '. I just bought a Tablet (new to that too.). On my desktop PC and my tablet, I have the latest versions of Firefox (v42.0). I created a Firefox account ([email protected]). I can log into the account from my PC and the tablet. I want to synchronize the data on my PC to my tablet.

Once logged into my account in Firefox on BOTH devices, on my PC I click on tools/sync now. There is absolutely no response. Maybe I'm on to something. Advice of an experienced hand would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The only obvious place is the Favorites. We'll be in the Mobile and the other bookmarks folder in the folder of bookmarks from office.

Try to disconnect and reconnect, however no matter what in each profile remove before re - set the accounts to the devices.

    Apple has not renewed the contract with Google to access Google servers.

    If the old version of iPhoto, which are still using Google's servers for the cards and places are either crashing or hanging.  Places are only work in iPhoto 9.5.1 or newer, who use places of Apple servers.

    There is more support for iPhoto from Apple.  You must update iPhoto 9.5.1 with the Mavericks. It would work well, only it is no longer buying this update to Apple.

    Perhaps the reason for the problem of synchronization is the problem with the loading of google map?

    It is very likely.  If iPhoto work very well when you are offline, then your problems will be caused by the connection failed to Googles servers.

    Hello, normally these problems are caused by a security/firewall software which does not recognize and therefore blocks the new versions of firefox. If please delete all the rules of the program for firefox to your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.

  • When I click on address book I no longer get the slot to insert a name, instead a long list of names/addresses

    I sent this way new emails (not responses): click on address book. Place comes the space to insert a name. I do, find the name (among some close to it), select it and then click on "write". The result is an email address, which I proceed to write and send. But since there is one day, when I click on the address book, what appears is a long list of names and email addresses. It fills most of the screen of the iMac. And there is no space to insert a name.
    Without doubt, I did something stupid to get there. What have I done? And how I turn the tide?

    This isn't answering your question on what is wrong.

    I think that the address book is a pretty lame place to start.

    Click on write or reply or forward and window of writing messages appears. pre-populated with the text of the previous message if it is a reply or forward.

    If you select the To: box and start typing, it will feature names in the address book corresponding to what you typed.

    If you really prefer to choose from a list, you can open a Contacts Sidebar which lists one of your address books. There are buttons to add Contacts selected to your message. You can drag and drop and use right click too. On a PC, F9 opens this sidebar, or you can use alt + v to get the view menu and choose the Contacts Sidebar in the submenu. I don't know how much it works on Mac.

    It is so easy to add multiple addresses. You can set them as Cc or BCC.

    Your method allows you to send a new message, but does not support the answer or transfer. It penetrates into all recipients regarding: and you have to change one by one, if that is not appropriate.

    You see why I think that the address book is a bad place to start from?

    If this alternative approach does not work then I suggest that corrupted address book. You have a recent backup to restore from?

  • Text of Gmail message box does not appear when I click on the message to read. Text appears in quotes if I click reply box.
