• Display a summary of the student responses to questions from the quiz on a slide

  I tried to create a single slide that contains a summary of the responses of students to all the quiz questions by using the cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice system variable, custom variables and advanced actions. but failed. The main inhibitor this effort were the short-answer questions.

  Is it possible (in a later version of Adobe Captivate) a new system variable can be added to the cpQuizInfoAnswerResponse called?

  This variable could act similar to cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice but instead would encompass the real answer.

  Adding this variable would make it possible for us to enter any answer to question multiple choice or short answer in a user variable that subsequently can be displayed on a slide later in the course.

  I already know the feature of Captivate quiz review - I mean allows us to capture everything on a slide instead of using the review function.

• Ideal no RC Impulse Response vague question the quadrature

  I have a little trouble understand why the amplitude of the response of my simulated square wave signal, when passed through a non-ideal answer RC filter, is incorrect. Qualitatively, the form of the answer seems correct, but the range is wide.

  I'm generating a square wave (where you specify the width of the frequency and pulse), the amplitude is set to 1 and the offset is also 1 for the square wave goes from 0 to 1...

  Then, I build the core of impulse response indeed RC ((1/RC) * exp(-t/RC)) using the formula of wave Vi, and finally, I use the continuous VI of Convolution to convolution of the signal with the impulse response of RC square wave to generate the output signal...

  Although, I think the author may be typo in the amplitude of kernel (I think it should be 1/RC and not RC) but the rest seems fine.

  In the attached VI, use a frequency of 300 Hz, pulse width of 0.01 ms and RC 380 Hz bandwidth Signal.

  RC 380 Hz bandwidth would be a time constant RC of ~ 2.6 MS, when a square wave with a pulse width unit< than="" 2.6ms,="" the="" resultant="" response="" signal should="" have="" an="" amplitude="" of="" 1="" (matching="" the="" unit="" square="" wave="" signal="" here)="" and="" fall="" off="" appropriately="" as="" e^(-t/rc)="">

  This seems OK when running the simulation. However, when I increase the width of the impulse to say 2.6 ms, (which should show a refill of the RC circuit to an amplitude of ~0.5 and then discharged as e ^(-t/RC), the amplitude is too high...

  Have I a gross error in my understanding here, or maybe I use one of these VI incorrectly?

  In fact, I made a mistake in my interpretation of the correct amplitude in both cases, I presented. I was still unable to resolve the discrepancy here, but thanks to this post, I managed to solve the problem. In this case, we need to 'normalise' the core of convolution to the 'sum' of the elements in the data of y of the signal of the nucleus resulting. I will post the solution here in case someone else runs into this problem.

• DW CC - Responsive Design: Questions about properties inherited from CSS

  Hey all.

  I learn a lot, but I've only been designing web sites for a short time now.  I use Dreamweaver CC and use sensitive design patterns.

  Here's the long and short of it:

  The delicate design model uses 3 @media CSS selectors in the following hierarchy:

  -Global: (less than broad 481px)

  -Tablet: (between 481-wide 768px)

  -Desktop computer: (above 769px, 980px wide max)

  As you can see, overall is 'Mobile' design, but it is at the top of the hierarchy.

  I'm trying to display: no the .header h1, h2, p ONLY in the .header of mobile display.

  (No media selector: IE: overall)

  The problem is all h1, h2, and p in the css elements all have disappeared.  Even those of other classes in the other views.

  I did something wrong?  How can I create a selector for the (global) .header class it will affect, say, .other_class ?

  Currently I have problems with my camera on Windows 8 app (I have an Asus laptop).

  The camera does not work and every time I tried to open the app, he says: "CONNECT a camera".

  The provider will know best.  But if the camera just recently stopped working, you might be able to fix it using the option #1 on this page, any necessary format.

  Answer to question No. 2:

  However, if a formula is really needed, you will still be able to re - install Office 2013 by using the source code for your purchase. This code is yours forever, and you can use it as many times as you need, even if you get a new computer (but you can use the code on a single computer at a time, so you should first remove it from your old computer).

• Quiz in Captivate 9 question

  Hello all! I am fairly new to Captivate and new to the forum, but I need help. I searched and found answers that seem similar to my dilemma, but are not absolutely zero itch. I'll give some advanced warning that, in all likelihood, I miss just something very obvious.

  In my project, I've categorized questions quiz scattered across the course. Questions allow only one attempt, and when the user responds and click on 'submit', the project advances to the next slide using the lead slide in a two-step process. The question I have is when a user goes back to see previously covered material: once the question has been answered and we are NOT yet in review mode (because the Quiz results slide is not until the end of the project), the user cannot advance beyond the quiz slide without using the button 'next' on the PlayBar. Is it possible to build in a button that allows the user to move beyond a slide of already answered questionnaire while not in playback mode, but does not allow a user to inadvertently skip a question?

  Please let me know if I need to clarify everything and thank you very MUCH in advance for your help.

  Not so easy to achieve this, since you are new. The original design of quiz question slides were in order, that you do not allow navigation assumed to the outside of the quiz except sanitation devices. It is important to stay within the scope of quizzes or the attempt at the Quiz level shall be deemed be more when you leave the scope of quiz. In an attempt at the quiz level responses to questions already answered will be frozen.

  Freedom of navigation in the question slides is possible if you choose the option "Submit all", and users will be able to edit the responses even revisiting the question slides. Only when they press the button "submit all the ' responses will be considered completed and frozen.

  Now, this idea is much more akin to the CP9 because the back and next buttons only appear during the review.

  A workaround, perhaps, may be putting a button custom shape on the first slide hidden initially programmed for the rest of the project. It can trigger the go to next slide action. Problem is that the button should appear only when the question is already answered (because you don't want to jump). You can create a variable user for each slide of the question, a Boolean value, which is passed to a default value of 0 to 1 with the success and the last attempt of the shares for each slide in the question. A question slide can have an action on enter: a conditional action that checks the value of the variable user for this slide. If it is 0, the next form button should be hidden, if it is 1, the following form button should be visible and active. Use a common action for this conditional action, with the variable and the next as a settings button.

  I am just Muse watching for the first time and begins to assess - I'm not a professional Web Designer. I watched a lot of tutorials, but have a few simple questions.

  1. how much hosting with Adobe cost? I think a simple references site 5 page; Home, about, contact, etc.

  2. in the tutorials that I saw that I see that you choose the platform you are designing. desktop, mobile or tablet computer. I don't understand this at all. In the past, when I've used Wordpress, if I use a sensitive topic so I'm fine for all platforms. So, I have these questions.

  You can't the CURRVAL unless you run the NEXTVAL alteast once in your session. And you cannot use the user_sequences.last_number if the CACHE is enabled.

  EVIL! You have actually changed the structure of your sequence. With ALTER comand, you actually set the increment value. Here, "n" sets the size of the increment. If defined as 1 it increments by 1. If as 2 will increment by 2.

  YES, it's the good way to increment a sequence. Use NEXTVAL to increment a sequence.

• Transcend Jet 360 Lite SD care &amp; "the operation cannot be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code - 50)"

  Have used the SD Transcend 360 256 MB card for data storage with success during the last 6 months on my MBP to mid-2014.  Installed their wake from sleep early support software.

  Above error code invite you in this context: I wake up Mac in the morning after sleep.  Transcend icon "wake up" and appear on the desktop (as it should).  I check disk utility and the card is recognized.  HOWEVER, about 1/3 of those mornings, despite appearing and functional map icon (folder open when I click on it), when I try to write/copy a file or folder to it, I get the above error code?  For about a week I missed that everything seemed normal.  My current 'fix' is to eject the card (requires a 'forced ejection"which I'm concerned could damage the card?), but the card ejects without delay.  90% of the time when I remove and reinsert the card, the operating system recognizes, all right.  (There are a dozen times when I had to reboot for it to be recognized.)

  All the others did this experiment with the Transcend (I submitted a request for tech support to them with a persistent response of 'Question Mac'... (LOL).  This error has been noted several times on the Forum discussion, but in the context of external drives and with no apparent solution.  FYI, I use the Transcend (in addition to external systems) b/c it works essentially like a hard drive internal and I use it mainly for Google Drive perfectly... except for the above inconveniences.  Thanks in advance!

• Thunderbird and my account Outlook ceased to play nicely

  Hi, first off I really like to use Thunderbird! Lately an annoying problem that happens where I don't then refresh my Inbox, and to connect to my outlook account craps on (emails disappear and the Inbox are not accessible). Restart Thunderbird / my PC seems to help, but the same does not happen too long after. The error message that is displayed each time that happens is attached.

  I use AVAST and failed to send a mail. I discovered that certificate SSL of Thunderbird for AVAST apparently does not work with the latest version of AVAST (10.4.2233).

• Impossible to open folders in thunderbird or send messages not sent after that computer (ubuntu) closed all of a sudden while using the program

  I use ubuntu. The computer ran out of battery power and closed while I was using thunderbird. Restart thunderbird later, I found that I could not open folders or send unsent messages. When I close the program, I can't restart it says that thunderbird is already open, but if I use thunderbird killall-9 I tells me there is no thunderbird running process. I checked my profile and there is no lock file or parentlock. Someone suggested the deletion of the database of messages of global reach, but this did not help at all.
  If I am slow in response to questions, please be patient, tonight is my last night with a decentinternet connection - before returning to my African country house where we get 15 KB/s download speeds on a good day.

  Try to change the pref ui.trackpoint_hack.enabled on the topic: page in default config-1 to 0 or 1 to see if this makes the touchpad works.

  I have the problem that Firefox spends more than 10% of CPU on the display of a static page like google search results. I use Firefox on a late 2012, MacBook Pro and the constant use of the CPU so drains the battery and produces a lot of heat after some time.

  Hi klopps, I don't get on Windows 7 (screen shot attached; tried both connected and disconnected).

  Google sometimes run experiments on its poster page causing people to have results different and/or a different behavior. Disconnect and clear all cookies from Google can give you a default experience, or maybe not, they don't advertise these things.

  If you want to try it:

  Just a page on the site, either:

  • Right click and select View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
  • Menu Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".

  In the dialog box that opens, you can delete all Google cookies individually.

  Then when you reload, bypass the cache of Firefox using the command + shift + r.

  Regarding the 3 wires you linked, it seems that everyone has a unique number. It doesn't seem to be a single explanation that applies to each of them.
