Sound card does not work and the error message as below during the installation (realtek driver). "Device cannot start. Code 10)

In Device Manager yellow! mark appears.



Why you do not use the Toshiba Recovery disk? Or did you install the Win XP operating system?

Try the following to work:
Go to Device Manager and uninstall the audio driver (in addition, you can try to remove this device from the list). Start the CCleaner (freetool) and clean the registry and the system.
Restart the laptop and try to reinstall the Realtek audio driver.

    I think you have already answered that question yourself...

    As you wrote that you can get all the drivers on the Toshiba site and if it isn t a newer driver available you can nothing more I think. Satellite A300 isn t a laptop of game performance so I think that the display drivers are not so important.

    The only way to obtain a more recent version, it's looking on external Web sites. Maybe you can get the desktop pilot working had some changes I put t know but really attention! Other drivers don't have protection against overheating and you could destroy the graphics chip. Be very careful of what you do.

    Alternatively, you can search on the Toshiba site for other models of laptops with ATI card too. Maybe, you can get a newer version

    If a compatible SATA mode then your HARD drive will always slow down the performance of the laptop!

    You need the right SATA drivers. You can find the right SATA files in the Intel Matrix Storage Manager, which can be downloaded from the Intel page.
    Notes; There are different packages that supports different chipsets.

    It would be interesting to know what OS you are using. I have too many Satellite Pro A300 and I can t t notice nasal sound if the WIFI is enabled. My A300 works pretty well and doesn't make strange sounds.

    Maybe you have installed another OS, if you restore the OS from Toshiba by using the recovery disc or HARD drive recovery option.

    This is a typical mistake if both devices have been attributed, ports of entry/exit (e/s), the same interrupt, or the same Direct access channel in memory.
    This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources for the device.

    If seems that the resources are already used by another device, and so there is a conflict with the parallel port adapter that you have installed manually.

    I think you can only solve this check other devices that use the same resources and then that disabling in Device Manager.

    I have a pair of headphones Creative SE2300 Bluetooth that I use with my Satellite Pro A300 and its built-in bluetooth.

    They connect well and work as they should (including the A2DP and AVRCP) except that the sound cuts every 20 seconds or more for anything from a fraction of a second for a couple. Abandonment of sound is completely intermittent no apparent reason for it.

    Now earphones Creative also came with a transmitter to connect to any helmet and the connection to it works perfectly with no decline in the sound. I also connected the earphones to my phone and it used to listen to music, and once again the connection is flawless.

    So why the connection to my laptop is so bad?

    Have you tried reinstalling the driver for the webcam? You can download it from the official website of Toshiba:

    Before installation: remove the driver current webcam and restart your computer. Try a registry cleaner like Ccleaner, then stop and try again. Now, you can install the latest driver for the webcam.

    By the way: this number XYZ is not so important. Part number of your machine is important. It is PSAG1E for your A300 and the part number is important for the identification of model and correct drivers download.
