  In the section of sound from the Control Panel, when you click on manage Audio devices, you see two choices?

  Dell 745 is technically not supported under Windows 7 there is no drivers listed for her.   I have serious problems.

  My computer will play only his online, as in music or videos.

  Windows media player will play files and CD, but will not sound (any more than any other program, quicktime, realplayer etc) even if the levels indicate sound.

  My player is not on mute and I used the troubleshooter repeatedly and updated my drivers and so on, but does not. His online works well for most, but sometimes the volume levels will eventually start uncontrollable flucuating.

  Please help since I am on Windows 7 and my warranty is up I get no help from microsoft and I'm hung up on the telephone lines, ignored in conversations and so forth.

  So of course, I am now a MAC person and will never do business with Microsoft again.

  But until I buy a new computer that will be years from now because I paid almost 3 grand for my current set up two years ago and it turned to be complete garbage that has let me down at every chance. Please help me get my sound back please please please
