No speech recorder

I find it odd that you can save and send memos, but there is no standalone version for voice recording.

It's within an application. The recorder of the word is added in the SMS app so that you can send specific texts of the voice. It is not configured to be used from any other app. I'm sorry.

  • Invoke a voice recorder

    Based on this page: http://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/v2_0/voice_note.html

I am trying to invoke the speech recorder.  You need a working example?

Using WebWorks 2.0, I created a new project with:

    C:\webworks> webworks create invokeRecorder

I then added the extension invoke :

    C:\webworks\invokeRecorder> webworks plugin add com.blackberry.invoke

I emptied the www folder only have my index.html file ( config.xml file was located in the parent folder). My gaze to index.html as follows file:

        Invoke

I then ran this on my device (connected via USB, in developer mode) with the command:

    C:\webworks\invokeRecorder> webworks run

And was able to successfully invoke the speech recorder.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones recording stops when the screen fades

My 9300 will stop recording when the time-out of the screen is reached. It is not by chance it is occurring because the software has been installed to prevent me from recording. Someone at - it a fix for this problem? It can be corrected by reinstalling the operating system and when I installed last Absolute radio I noticed the problem.

The answer is an application called "Brampton Guardian" by Metrolan Media Group Ltd which, once installed (and not run) will disable your speech recorder, after that the screen saver is activated (default is 30 seconds) I placed a review noteing the same on Blackberry Apps but ithas no appearred.

  • Text speech pauses for resume

I have a text to speech recorded and noticed something while previewing "HTML5 in the browser. If I access the next slide, while 'James' still talking, then go back, it seems that 'he' has suspended for the moment I left and took over from there. I think that storytelling would start from the beginning. 'Représentation' or fix for this?

    Thank you.

HM, the first version that was bit buggy. You can install the fix published a few months ago at 9.0.1.320?

I will check if this happens also for me, but I am on version 9.0.1, feels weird. The audio clip (TTS) begins on the first frame of the slide? It is a good practice to move a bit further.

I can't repro your question. I checked in a file in 9.0.1.320, HTML5 Preview in the browser. The slides have audio clips of TTS. When navigating to a next slide and back, the slide began at the beginning, and as slide audio, audio has started early on as well.

  • The microphone on my Motorola Rival A455 does not work when placing or receiving calls or voice recording.

My microphone seems to have stopped working. I called my dad today to pick me up from school and I could hear him talking to the other end, but he couldn't hear me. I tried to call several times in a number of phones, and always the same issue occurs. I think it's the MIC because the speech recorder and voice commands do work more or the other. Whenever I use one of these functions that require the phone's microphone starts emitting a crackling sound weird and the only way I can get it to stop. I've had this phone for 5 days for any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I stop to your Koodo Mobile store and ask them to check it out. If all goes well they will exchange the unit out for you. Shouldn't do that of course.

  • ICD-P320 to Windows 7 Premium

I'm looking for a work around for a digital voice recorder Sony ICD-P320 model software.

The download page lists several operating systems, but once two different download attempts, the software does not recognize my recorder of the word.

Was the first error message 'missing driver '.

Download second seemed successful because it installed shortcut on the desktop (which it was not the first time through).

I spoke with a CSR online. Smile. Grimace.

Does anyone have a solution or an audio editing software free comparable? Version 2.4 works on my desk, but I thought it wouldn't work on laptop Windows 7 Premium 64-bit.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello
Welcome to the community of Sony.

The supplied Digital Voice Editor software is not supported with Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit editions) and Windows Vista (64-bit edition). In addition, the speech recorder USB connection is not supported with Windows 7 operating system.

To work around the problem, you can use a cable mini-jack connected to the Jack "helmet" of the recorder of the word and the other connected to the Jack "Microphone" to your laptop to transfer voice recordings on your computer.
You can see the following link for additional help:

    https://us.en.KB.Sony.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/30985

The steps for Windows Vista operating system can be tracked for the Windows 7 operating system.

    Thank you for your message.

  • ICD - SX and Windows 7

Is there a driver available for the speech recorder ICD - SX series for Windows 7? I can't seem to find one and Windows 7 is not letting select a driver for Windows Vista, apparently. Any help possible?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forum.

The recorder must be recognized as a device of storage automatically by Windows and the Sony Digital Voice Editor software should run - however older recorders not be recognized by versions 64 bits of Windows 7 - it depends on the model.

  • E270 problems...

Hello, I am a former owner of an e280R and the current owner of an e270 and view. The e270 works much better than the view, but is currently a few issues that I can't seem to have difficulty. First of all, he can't fomat. I am trying to manually remove music files, but some of them have within them, files that cannot be deleted for a reason, and they are not system files. They are labeled with unusual symbols that don't make sense and have nothing in them. Virus, perhaps? but then how would he was there...

Anyway, if anyone knows of the remedies, that would be great.

Also, any other owners e270: when you use the speech recorder, he recorded everything-a-the half-step more than the actual sound?

I managed to solve this problem without being able to get in shape right now. I deleted all the files he'd let me and then updated the firmware... then in MSC mode, it not let me format. It wouldn't let me delete the files were files of music that went awry after some time for unknown reasons, but it works fine now. YAY

  • Detection of PowerSave

Hello friends I am creating a simple speech recorder. Space bar is the shortcut that starts / stops recording. When I record the backlight turns off after a while. When I then press SPACEBAR to stop it will not stop and it just activates the backlight. I have to then press it again to stop recording. Is it possible to run pressures on the keys when the backlight is always disabled?

    Thank you

No you don't have an option to do so... Internally, blackberry is designed so that when a keypress event is raised, it will first check the State of the backlight, if it is on, while the event was triggered in the world, otherwise he would consume the event to get the backlight (without giving a chance to the revival of the event)

You could make your backlight of erasure when your application runs...

  • Record French text to speech as a mp3 file

I need to save French speech synthesis in the form of MP3 file I save and reproduce on my iPad or iPhone. I know how to make an MP3 file as a track to iTunes from a text file on my MacBook Pro, but I don't have access to my iPhone and iPad now. I searched online and the App Store for solutions but did not get to what either. Make a record of my own voice with the voice recorder application does not have a track quite high quality.

Thanks for any help you can provide, pointing me apps or iPad features I have yet to discover.

I used the Voice Record Pro for these purposes with great success. Can export the soundtrack recorded in a variety of formats, including MP3.
