I tried to reload Firefox and searching the registry of the Yahoo URL without result.

  What continues to change my homepage from Yahoo? I searched my PC for TAP to no avail either. Does anyone else have this problem? Specifically, does anyone know what causes the homepage be reset to Yahoo after reset Options to the original homepage? There are similar questions on this site, but no answer to my specific problem.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  For some strange reason, I see the background I see normally before I log in, then when I connect it changes to the El Captain one. I hate to go to the system preferences and must continue to change as a result of the background, I love. The way it works by this problem is really strange. I tested it by restarting and the background I love is always there. I wanted to test even more so I turned off my Mac for an hour and then an hour later I turn it back, always there. However, after several hours, it changes. I recently upgraded to OS X El captain in the hope that it would solve this problem. Help would be nice. THX.

  If the problem still persists, there may be a chance that the problem is due to system files, so I suggest you to check the system files are they work very well or not and to check who are trying to run the (SFC) System File Checker tool.

  My ASUS U50F/Windows 7, 64 bit version continues to change time and date. Sometimes he changes a day, sometimes is two or more days to come, but after a few months, it resets the date back to 2009. It seems that a lot of people have the same problem as me. Some suggest it is the BIOS battery, but that's not the problem.   I hope someone can help me with the problems I'm having with my laptop. It's brand new, running Windows 8. Everything works well except the clock. The time continues to change and I'm unable to synchronize with the time Internet. Whenever I try to sync, I get the error message "the peer is not resolved."
  I haven't noticed any particular model for how time continues to change, except that if I turn off and turn on again hours later, time has not moved at all of what it was when I turned it off.

  Well, I solved the puzzle myself.

  I noticed that somehow a stray .psd file was stuck in my side bar of the Mac Finder.  Don't ask me how it got there.

  At the beginning I couldn't delete it – until I tried a Mac forum and they suggested I hold down the command key and drag it off... to poof!

  It worked.

  And when I went back to bridge - now the bad behavior disappeared!  And when I close the window Bridge and reopen - the choice to "classify" same home!

  Yay... it's a small step for me, and one small step for computerkind.
