not reclaimed space Jefferson deleting user

Hi all

OS:-RHEL 5.2
database:-oracle 10.2.0.1

I let fall a user of my database due to the lack of space on partition.but that he didn't reclaim space in database and keep saying space space on partition... I tried to alter tablespace colesce, but same result, as it is to have several data files that I am incapable of knowing what data file to resize...

I also purge recyclebin, but no luck, how do I reclaim space in the tablespace level? I also tried to resize to database but got
ORA-32773: operation not supported for smallfile tablespace USERS
Thus, any suggestions would be appreciated, that the user had 4 GB of space, and I dropped it, but still unable to recover from the space... How can I do this?

Thanks and greetings
VD

you need to subscribe to the ' ' alter database datafile "' | file_name | " ' ' resize ' "part of the script so that you run that queries to see the sizes of the data files and the sizes they will shrink to.

    Only solution is umount the point of editing or the db bounce. It is because of 'SEMAPHORE '.

    Semaphores are sharable resources who take a non-negative integer value. They are manipulted by the P (waiting) and V (signal) functions that decrement and increment the semaphore, respectively. When a process needs a resource, a "waiting" is issued and the semaphore is decremented. When the semaphore contains a value of zero, the resources are not available and the calling process turns or blocks (if applicable) until resources are available. When a process opens a resource controlled by a semaphore, it increments the semaphore and the waiting process are advised.

  • vSphere not showing do not free space after deletion

    Hello

    We have ESXi clocked at our remote data center. I recently needed to free up space on the data store, so I used the tool FastSCP remove one VM folders, as I could find no way to do it using vSphere. It seems only to remove no problem, and the deleted folder no longer displays in the view FastSCP or through the vSphere client. But in vSphere, the figure of the free space has not changed. Are there any other required step that I neglected to find that space?

  • Restoring a deleted user

    I deleted a restricted user account (after put the files on a memory stick), now without the existing user I can't access them, can restore the user or someone he knows a way to get the files from the memory stick?

    Hello

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to restore deleted user account in Windows XP. However, you can use your favorite search engine to download third party software that may help you to restore the account deleted.

    Note:

    Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • Deleted but iPhoto library not disk space

    Hi guys,.

    -I'm on a Macbook pro with an upgrade end 2011 1 TB SSD (Crucial) on El Capitan

    - and just deleted my old iPhoto library (which was 420 GB) and emptied the Recycle Bin

    -Unfortunately has no free space, my photo library is 440 GB and the size of the Pictures folder has reduced 880 GB 460 GB

    - BUT my SSD (drive) is always also shows 120 GB of free space only. When I emptied the Recycle Bin only about 20 GB released instead of 420 Go

    I've tried so far:

    -waiting for Finder to catch up

    -empty the trash again

    -restart

    --redemarrer reboot into recovery mode, run disk utility, first aid

    -tried to copy a 200 GB file on the SSD drive to check if the space is truly free, showing everything simply does not, but he said not "enough space on the SSD.

    All suggestions and help very welcome!

    Thank you

    Daniel

    It's exactly what you expect.

    While iPhoto and the report of libraries of Photos using 400 concerts or more, it has the same 400 concerts. The two libraries called the original photos of their own through Unix hard links and share a few minor elements. So, screw up the iPhoto Library recovered space that was exclusively used by iPhoto only.

    Deleted user names and passwords will not apear on a list in the form, but if I start typing them they same apear if I deleted the history. I encountered this problem on several computers: a PC with XP, one with Windows 7 and Mac so I know for some there is a firefox problem. Somehow the passwords and user names remain stored even if previously deleted. I want to sell my PC but I can not because of security risks. Of course, the problem could be solved by formatting the HARD drive and reinstall the OS, but I want to know how to solve the problem without doing. I've tried everything and still they stay... Please help me... and I want to know if anyone else has this problem. Thank you!

    If the names and passwords still show in the password manager so that they are not deleted.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_Manager

    If you don't see them in the password manager, but they still fill then you either they have saved in form or you have an extension that has saved this data.

  • Not enough space

    We have an iMac and MacBook 2 backup on a capsule 3 TB. It now says not enough space. Should it not be automatically delete older backups to free up space. I have to start over and do a back up of all three computers?

    About alert TM "Backup Drive is full"

    TM only deletes older files if they have been removed from the source and when TM needs space on the backup to a new incremental backup drive. Time Machine "Jules Destrooper" its backups. over 24 hours, old backups, except the first of the day; These "dailies", old more 30-day backups, except the first day of the week. The weeklies are kept as long as there is room.

    So, how long a backup rest file depends on how long it was on your Mac before being deleted, assuming that you do at least one backup per day. If she was there for less than 24 hours, it will be maintained for at least a month. If she was there at least a week, it will be maintained as long as there is room.

    Note that, on a Time Capsule, the sparsebundle grows in size as needed, but not descended. View of the user of the TC so it seems that no space was released, although there may be space in the sparsebundle.

    Once TM has found that it cannot free enough space for new backup it reports the disk is full. You can erase the backup disk and start your backup or replace the disc with a larger drive.

  • Restore and recover a single file of data/Tablespace to reclaim space

    Oracle 11 G R2 with node 2 RAC, ASM and Data Guard

    11.2 Solaris

    I have a Bigfile Tablespace TB 5 on Production which has a very large table containing LOB data. Most of the LOBs have been deleted so now the space used is only 200G.

    I need to recover the space (to 4.8) below the high water mark (HWM). We tried all the usual methods (shrink, move, reorg online), but due to the enormous size of the space, they are all would require to take my Production database down for many hours. Also, I have limited disk space to work with.

    In 11 G RMAN skips data file blocks that do not contain at present no data when you save to disk for a backupset.

    I came with a possible alternative to reclaim space with RMAN below:

    1. turn the offending offline data file

    ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE OFFLINE 3.

    2 restore and recover the offending using data file:

    RUN {}

    SET NEWNAME for DATAFILE 3 on NEW;

    RESTORE THE 3 DATA FILE;

    DATAFILE 3 SWITCH;

    RECOVER DATA 3 FILE;

    }

    3. place the new file data online

    ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE 3 ONLINE;

    First: Will this work?

    Second: When I restore this data file, it will ignore the HWM on original table space and restore just the 200 GB of data, or he will restore the 5 TB of blocks used or not?

    Thank you.

    RMAN ignores empty blocks during the backup, but restoration will create the same file size as it has been earlier and restore data later. So you will get no benefit from it.

  • Table Oracle continues to expand and do not reuse space

    Before I opened a SR with Oracle, I thought I'd use this forum for help with this answer.

    We have a large table that gets 1-2 m inserts a day while serving m 1-2 rows per day that are 30 days old. The table remains stable, lines 55-60 m, but the table continues to grow daily concerts.

    The tablespace uses SAMS and here is the presentation of the table:

    CREATE TABLE owner1.a
    (
    col1 VARCHAR2 (20 BYTE) NOT NULL,
    col2 NUMBER (3) NOT NULL,
    COL3 VARCHAR2 (4000 BYTE),
    COL4 VARCHAR2 (24-BYTE),
    col5 VARCHAR2 (4000 BYTE)
    )
    TABLESPACE one
    PCTUSED 0
    PCTFREE 3
    INITRANS 50
    MAXTRANS 255
    STORAGE)
    64K INITIALS
    MINEXTENTS 1

    PCTINCREASE 0
    DEFAULT USER_TABLES
    )
    LOGGING
    NOCOMPRESS
    NOCACHE
    NOPARALLEL
    MONITORING;

    I know that rebuild the table is going to reclaim space, but we try to understand why he keeps more and re-use only no space between the deleted segments. We want to address the issue, then you should never rebuild the table...

    Thank you

  • Deleting users on MacBook Pro

    I had an account that I wanted is no longer on my MacBook Pro, so I deleted but accidentally registered as a disk image. I ejected the disk image by dragging it to the trash. I tried to get rid of him completely, and now I don't know where he is. Anyone know where it is or if it is definitively gone?

    Thank you

    By default, when you delete a user account and choose to save his home folder as a disk image, this image is saved in the deleted users folder users folder. Note: You need administrator privileges to delete this image.

  • Permissions problems after manual migration of the deleted user

    I am the admin of my iMac, although there are a couple of other users. After rising problems with accidents, which does not reinstall OS X, my user account has become so corrupted that Finder would launch is no longer and I was forced to do something drastic. Not wanting to reproduce the problem, I decided to give up Time Machine restore and I have just created a new user for myself and deleted my previous user account, preserving its content.

    It turns out that the copy of my user deleted to my new files was not something Apple intention we can do.

    I changed the permissions on all the files in the old (deleted) user folder to read and write to my new user and applies this setting to the contents of all folders. However, I was still unable to move the folders in my new user folder - it copied instead. Okay, well, it makes everything more difficult, but I worked through it. Now that the files have been copied to my new user folder and permissions are certainly on my current user (admin), OS X still think that I don't "own" them, i.e., I can't move things and I type my admin password to be able to copy things.

    Many Google searches on this issue have turned only complex terminal procedures that I'm not of course are worth risking. I hope that someone here in the infinitely knowledgeable Mac community has a solution for me. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Have you changed the file property?
    If this isn't the case, then you can change the ownership of the file using the chown command in terminal.

    Using one of the administrator account on the machine, you can run:

    sudo chown - Rv User1/Users/user3/dir1 /.
    (where "user1" will be the user that you want to change the property of and "/ Users/user/dir1 / ' will be the path of the file/directory or file you want to make this change to) [you might be promoted a password if you just enter the password there is no feedback that the password entered]

    Once the user has files that you should have no problem moving them to the users directory.

    Do you hear the names and passwords in the password manager or do you mean that you are connected is no longer on to (remember to) Web sites after the closing and restarting Firefox?

    There is a difference between remembering the name and the password in the password manager and a check box "remember me" on a web page.

    The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and which is sent to the server.

    If that "remember me" cookie is deleted or is corrupted or is not send to the server, then the server remember that you and you must connect once again.

  • System requires me to identify you as a deleted user

    When I restart my Macbook Air with El Capitan 2013, the system pushes me to log on as a user that have been deleted. It shows the login name and the icon that is correct for the user, even if the user has been deleted via the preferences system and the user's home directory no longer exists. It wont let me connect you as any other user. There is no 'back' arrow and no box to type the user name. Only the icon of the user and the password box. I have to enter the password for the deleted user, then a progress bar appears and slowly fills up, then shows the standard connection interface where I can type the username of my admin account and log in normally. This happens at every reboot. I tried to recreate the user with the same user name, then delete again via system preferences. This did not help. This is a standard user, not admin. What is a weird problem. Please notify.
